Faith in YOU ❤

Faith in YOU ❤

Greetings, Luminous One and Happy Eclipse!

If you remember from May’s Infinity Circle, one of the most important astrological events of the year is the Total Lunar Eclipse that occurs today primarily in the southern hemisphere. (The effects will last much longer, of course.)

Between the closeness of this super-Moon and Venus’s open heart, you can expect emotions to be running high. Scorpio also figures into this 90-minute event with its themes of power and control (and possible disclosure of long-held secrets).

During this eclipse, the Moon will be in the South Node, which means that it’s time to let go of the past, both individually and collectively. Plus, because of the line-up of planets in the last degrees of their signs, these endings are accentuated, providing a kind of tipping point for the rest of the year.

So, here’s the main question: what are you tipping into? What will be new in your life?

Neptune’s presence reminds us that this eclipse has everything to do with taking spiritual action, which in its most basic form means coming from the heart more than the head.

But what does that common phrase actually mean?

One way to describe “coming from the heart” is we’re connecting with our “God-Self” for direction, an inner resource that’s our personal purest place co-mingled with something bigger, wiser, and infinitely loving.

Doesn’t this sound a lot like a tipping point into Faith...?

... Faith in whatever that bigger thing is, which goes by a thousand names and is the unnameable One...?

... and Faith in our capacity to tap into it?

We‘ve discussed how Faith can be understood as a choice. For some, it’s arrived at logically, for other’s it’s through an emotional event, and for a few, like Jeff Patnaude, it’s simply a fact that arrived early and became the unquestioned constant around which everything in his life revolves to this day.

No matter how it is acquired, Faith is a turning point, delineating Life Before from Life After.

As a kid, I always felt there was something powerful out there but try as I might, I couldn’t get close enough to it. Religion was ok up to a point – I especially loved singing liturgical music and hearing any stories with magical angels. But once I was asked to claim that my faith was 100% aligned with the church’s, I abruptly turned my back on the system and went off on a long search for what I could believe in.

I had plenty of beautiful experiences that opened my mind and heart, enough to make me a believer. But I wanted more...

More than believing, I wanted knowing - I sought a personal relationship.

In that quest, I did all sorts of things, including lining my bookcases with examples of people who had found such a relationship for themselves. Most of these folks had not been seeking such as I was, but simply woke up one day to an extraordinary event that made them solid “knowers” on the spot. Until that moment, they had had no idea what they had been missing in Life (only the most important part!).

These revelations were commonly described as homecomings into a magnificent, other-worldly Love that had been available all the time, if they only had had eyes to see and ears to hear. The sensation of being loved in one’s entirety evoked an overwhelmingly poignant vulnerability and humility. This Love was infinite, eternal and dependable, but it asked something in return: that the recipient learn to love themselves in like kind.

To truly love oneself means that we recognize ourselves as representatives of the energy (some would say divinity) that IS Love and accept wholeheartedly that there is no separation between the two.

Therefore, it isn’t a stretch to say that we can just as easily love ourselves as we love Love itself. In fact, to deny ourselves self-Love, is to deny the creative flow that binds all things: Love.

Another way to say it is because we are not separate from Love, having Faith in Love includes having Faith in ourselves.

Quite the circular argument, right? :)

I’m eternally grateful that I finally did have my “blink-of-an-eye” magic moment of moving from believing into knowing… I realized I had been reaching out when all the while, it was the internal connection that ultimately brought the ship into dock. Duh.

Let’s take this tipping point opportunity to allow Love to fully embrace us…

Let’s drop our fears, unworthiness, expectations and resistance to the flow of everlasting support and understanding…

Let’s accept Faith in ourselves and in that which wants to dance with us as joyful creators at a time when we are sorely needed.

I have Faith in you!

I hope to see you tomorrow at 7:30pm EDT for an informative talk about our retreat workshop to the Southwest in the fall - see below for link.

Apologies but Channeling Explorations is cancelled this month due to WIFI and privacy challenges in my current location.
