JUNE 2023

RUNE OF THE MONTH: Isa “ice”. We are required to slow down, be cautious, listen carefully, and tread delicately.

Only will a gradual movement forward, steady, sound, and solid, see us to the finish line. Self-preservation is key this month. Patience, discipline, and care help us discern what is worth our time and effort, and what isn’t. To those who honor their own rhythm, comes great success!

Pluto remains retrograde this whole month until October 10 (at 27º54’ Capricorn). Its shadow period ends on February 1st 2024. Pluto re-enters Capricorn on Sunday 6/11 till January 20th, 2024. The degree covered in June (0º09’ Aquarius - 29º38’ Capricorn) are represented in the Sabian Symbols by “A old adobe mission in California” and “A secret meeting of men responsible for executive decisions in world affairs”.  This is one of the very last times that Pluto returns to Capricorn since it entered that sign in 2008. Big corporations, government officials, people in positions of authority who have used underhanded tactics, have abused their power, and hurt those they were supposed to serve, will continue being exposed until they all fall. The new consciousness does not tolerate lies and deceit!

Saturn turns retrograde on Saturday 6/17 until November 3rd. Its shadow period remains until February 8, 2024. The degree covered in June, 7º13’ Pisces is symbolized by: “A girl blowing a bugle”. We are asked to reconsider our relation to discipline and authority. What, who, do we bow to? What laws do we abide to? What rules do we live by? A close examination of the structures of our life is in order. Are they still valid, or are they outmoded ? A wonderful time to reassess our goals and make solid plans for the future.  

Neptune turns retrograde on Friday 6/30 at 27º41’ Pisces, until December 5. Its shadow period remains until March 26, 2024. This degree is associated to the following image: “A fertile garden under the Full Moon reveals a variety of full-grown vegetables”. As the world is gradually going to chaos, our still intact imagination gives us a chance to dream the world we want into being. Our inner world is full of magical resources, that if tapped into can bring wonders to life, and manifest an enchantment that will not only feed our soul, but bring hope and peace to humanity.

On Saturday 6/17, take out your blank full moon charged papers and write on each a concise, positive intention. Place them on a balcony, in a garden or near a window so that they are out by exactly 9:37 PM for the New Moon in Gemini. Once that moment has passed, staple them together and put them away in a folder expecting the manifestation of all your dreams….

Friday 6/2: Venus Trine Neptune (3:42 PM)

We are particularly romantic. A new relationship could feel so perfect, it is almost unreal, and may indeed call for caution. Our compassion, and sensitivity are particularly enhanced, making us want to care for those more vulnerable than ourselves. Artists are specially inspired.

Sunday 6/4: Mercury Conjunct Uranus (12:49 PM)

A day of exciting news, innovative ideas, and thinking out of the box. We may meet unusual people who are independent thinkers and walk to the sound of their own drum. We might be attracted to science fiction. Sudden schedule changes may disrupt our plans forcing to stay very present to the moment and think quickly on our feet.

Monday 6/5: Venus Opposition Pluto (9:05 AM)

Gracious compromise is advised today. Manipulation, expressing openly our disagreement, will only backfire. Goodwill, extending ourselves to our utmost wins the approval of others and brings much needed peace.

Friday 6/9: Mercury Sextile Neptune (2:14 PM)

We may feel a little spaced out and dreamy. Not a good day for signing legally binding documents, but very inspiring for artists and creators. Musicians, actors, and painters are particularly favored. Healers and channelers may also be able to access higher realms of consciousness more easily. Our night dreams may be prophetic.

Sunday 6/11: Pluto re-enters Capricorn (2:47 AM till January 20, 2024), Mercury Trine Pluto (3:26 AM), Mercury enters Gemini (3:27 AM till 6/26)

Regarding Pluto in Capricorn, kindly refer to the opening paragraph. During the next 2 weeks, our thoughts may be more scattered. We are curious of many things and good at multi-tasking. Good conversations are appealing. Our social skills are enhanced. We are friendlier and more talkative than usual. Our nervous energy may be rather high. We enjoy small trips. Today, more specifically, we X-ray situations and people, think things deeply, and could even be obsessive in our problem solving, leaving no stone unturned.

Thursday 6/15: Mercury Square Saturn (9:09 AM)

We may feel a little drained today, and depressed. Formal obligations are tedious and boring. We may be a little asocial. Best to avoid signing important documents. We are advised to keep our opinions to ourselves. This transit is best channeled by applying ourselves to the work at hand with focus and diligence.

Saturday 6/17: Mercury Sextile Venus (8:29 AM), Saturn Retrograde (10:27 AM)

Sunday 6/18: Sun Square Neptune (8:54 PM)

Our vitality is low, we feel dreamy, are indecisive and impractical. Definitely not a day to sign legal documents. We should also stay away from promotional schemes and shady characters, as we could be more vulnerable to deceit than usual. A day to lie low, read, paint, or listen to music.

Monday 6/19: Jupiter Sextile Saturn (8:53 AM)

A day of balance between expansion and a more conservative approach. We move forward gradually, with healthy moderation. Obstacles and delays are handled positively, with efficiency, practicality, and maturity.

Wednesday 6/21: the Sun enters Cancer (7:58 AM till July 22), Mercury Sextile Mars (8:23 AM)

During the coming month, our focus is on home, safety, food, and money. Excellent for beautifying our home, creating dinners with both close and extended family members. We could feel more emotional than usual, be drawn to the arts, and concerned about the welfare of children.  Today, more specifically, we are direct in speech, call a spade a spade, take courageous initiative, demonstrate natural leadership abilities, and move resolutely forward in our projects.

Sunday 6/25: Mercury Square Neptune (3:36 PM)

Communications could be elusive. Deceit, misunderstandings, lies could create much confusion. We are likely to miss appointments, erase messages we haven’t read, and have a hard time focusing on practical matters. More than ever should we avoid drugs and alcohol the effect of which is multiplied. A day to lie low, watch a feel-good movie, or read an inspiring novel.

Monday 6/26: Mars Square Uranus (2:23 AM), Mercury enters Cancer (5:24 PM till July 10)

Prone to stress in the face of unexpected circumstances, we could react in an impulsive, volatile, impatient manner. Let us be careful when driving or using sharp objects. Considering different options leads to innovative solutions. During the next 2 weeks, our mind is very connected to our heart, so much so, that we could be unduly emotional and take everything more personally than necessary. An excellent period to spend quality time with children, focus on the wellbeing of our family, and reorganize our home.

Wednesday 6/28: Sun Trine Saturn (6:43 PM)

A day of hard, focused, productive work. We readily assume our responsibilities and are disciplined in fulfilling our obligations. Our ambitions are supported by our strength of character, diligence, patience, and practical efficiency.

Thursday 6/29: Mercury Trine Saturn (11:24 PM)

An excellent day to study a topic requiring discipline, focus, and practical attention to details. We seek serious conversations, are attracted by older, more mature individuals whose achievements we respect and admire, and finish what we started, no matter how tedious and boring the task is.

Friday 6/30: Neptune retrograde (2:07 PM till December 5), Sun Conjunct Mercury (10:06 PM)
