For the week of June 25th thru July 2nd, be sure to read your Rising Sign as well:
If you come up against obstacles and delays, try not to give in to frustration, restlessness and anger. This will only lead to actions that will later be regretted. You could become confronted with a conflict between an old order and a new one; or the necessity for change vs. the resistance to change. Know what you do have control over, what changes you can make, and look for ways to accept those that you don’t have any control over. This acceptance can lead to deep healing. Look for positive outlets for frustration: exercise, movement, and focusing on those things you do have control over. And use the Neptune and Jupiter stations to incorporate some version of calm abiding in your daily life. You will appreciate it. It is hard to keep an Aries still. So one way to promote that inner stillness, and calm abiding, might be through meditative walks, projects or exercise, that helps to release and still both body and mind.
Taking time to do nothing can help to bring everything into perspective. All the more so now that both Jupiter and Neptune are entering their retrograde phases in sublime Pisces. In order to make the most of the next quarter of the year, allow your senses to explore your environment: go to a concert, a museum or the theater. This is a good week to spend with loved ones and friends in just such an endeavor. But also allow yourself some time alone, perhaps simply doing nothing. If only for a few hours or even a few minutes each day. In this way, see if you can make that connection with that inner place of serenity, solace, and those creative centers that are just beckoning and waiting for you to explore their environs once again. It’s about finding that space and time and place that allows your heart and soul to be rekindled.
Mercury is now direct, however it is doing so with the prospect of creating its final square to Neptune, as Neptune now stalls for its retrograde station. With both Jupiter and Neptune now in their retrograde phases, there can be some confusion about the future. You ask yourself: Is this a good thing, or a bad thing that is going on? On its part, Neptune is trying to inspire you to create goals for yourself that have greater and deeper meaning. This could be something of a more altruistic, or perhaps even creative or an inspired aspiration. While Neptune is retrograde for the next 5 months, seek to explore the ways that you have not yet fulfilled your ideals or highest aspirations, and how you may be able to make any reasonable adjustments that might allow them to become a closer reality. What needs to change? And what sorts of changes are you capable of making now?
Coming off of the Full Moon on the 24th, you may be sorting out and trying to make sense of your relationships with others, and how these interface with your highest aspirations. Where are there frustrations? And where can you facilitate positive changes moving forward? There is something to be said for being in the company of those who really do appreciate you as you are, and have no wish to change you. If you are so lucky, you may even have the opportunity to access a window through which guides and guardians from beyond can speak to you. This may come through a person, through a book, a conversation. It may even be in a whisper or a dream. But something profound is trying to speak to you. Neptune scoffs at boundaries and those things that divide us, and in some way your connection with others, and with the rest of the world, is opening up in some meaningful way.
What are those things that you are most passionate about? Even in the face of adversity, delays or frustrations, hold on to that. With both Venus and Mars now in your sign, you are being asked to connect with those things that stir your heart, and what gets you motivated. Even if you can’t do anything about it right away. Even if there are obstacles in your path. Your needs are shifting and changing. Some of these are due to cultural changes in the world, and your own reactions to them. But others are due to a growing and changing awareness. And it would seem to be true, that the more you learn, the more questions you have. And the more profound those questions the better. But for now, you can start by asking, what are those things in your life that bring you the greatest fulfillment? That you are most passionate about? And go from there.
Mercury is now direct. But it is also marching into its final square to Neptune, which continues this legacy of indecision and uncertainty. In some way you were being asked to sit with that uncertainty, and an understanding that there are some outcomes over which we simply have no control. Sometimes it can feel when Neptune stations retrograde, as it does on the 25th, that you may have to relinquish or let go of one dream, in order to get back on your path. Don’t allow any disappointments to overshadow this moment. Be content in knowing that you are exactly where you need to be for now. If you can, try to find someone to partner with who inspires you, and who gets you. Someone with whom you can walk, meditate, sing with, dance with, or who will help you to facilitate, or inspire you to embark on a more spiritual journey. And take some breaks. Stillness and serenity is an antidote for the anxiety that uncertainty can bring.
Look for ways to integrate some Neptunian stillness into your life. Whether you roll out the yoga mat, take long walks, or meditate… find a way to create your own retreat of stillness, silence and calm in your daily routine. Something that works for you. You might also want to ask yourself, how you can incorporate more mindfulness in order to promote a more healthful lifestyle, diet or regimen. Pay attention to the ways that your health is impacted by what you are eating, hearing, sensing in your home and work environment. If you’ve fallen off the wagon, or allowed boundaries to become eroded, this is where you will be shown the value of a more holistic routine and lifestyle. An integral part of Libra health is to maintain some sort of balance in your daily life. Look for any areas in your life that have become unbalanced over the past 6 months, and see where you might want to make adjustments.
Do not be dismayed if you find yourself coming up against obstacles, frustrations and delays. All of which are putting you in something of a quandary. Which should you choose? Should you choose what you are familiar with and comfortable? Or should you break free and go for broke? Neptune is compelling you to open up your heart in some significant and gracious way, letting you know that your sacrifices have not been in vain. It is also trying to point you in some sort of creative personal expression or venture. Some translate this as having to be artistic expression. And if this is something that is meaningful to you, and a channel for your own personal expression, then by all means do so. But there are likely to be opportunities for finding meaningful ways in your everyday life to express that which is intrinsically and profoundly you. In whichever way feels most comfortable. You are being called.
Neptune’s station can have a disconcerting effect on Sagittarius, who may feel as if they are wandering around, like a stranger in their own land. If the home situation is not up to par, or unsure at best, having Neptune roll into your living room can be both a blessing and a source of profound consternation. One advantage is that Neptune can do the magic trick of conjuring up an image of the ideal home and family. If you can hold that image before you, it is said that by the time Neptune leaves the sign of Pisces, you will have been able to create something, or some approximation of that ideal image. In the mean time seek to find your own place, where you can practice stillness, quiet and serenity: whether it be a shrine, through a hobby, or creating your own sacred space. Look for that place in your life that instills that sense of inner peace, for that is where you will need to go in order to restore the balance in your life. That is your place of inner refuge, safety and home.
This could prove to be something of a frustrating week for many, Capricorn included. Things may not go as smoothly as hoped. With Mars opposing your ruling planet Saturn there could even be strife, anger, and frustration with the actions of others. You will be required to practice patience, and wait until the obstacles fall away. In the mean time develop strategies for how you wish to proceed when the coast is clear. One thing that will facilitate that process is to awaken your inner Neptune: become more acquainted with your feelings, your dreams, your sense of things to come. Do not try to over-analyze these too much. Nor give in to worry. You are needing to give more space to just letting go, and that can be a little disorienting for Capricorn. Think of it more as an opportunity to stop, and get reacquainted with those things that matter to you most. The rest will follow.
If you find yourself coming up against oppositional people or situations, try to lay low and avoid butting heads, for it is likely to lead nowhere, and leave you feeling more frustrated than anything else. Rather, patiently wait until the obstacles fall away, and then proceed. This will require a certain amount of restraint. And see what you can do in the mean time to figure out a strategy or plan of action later on when the coast is clear. Sometimes it’s easier to go around a problem, rather than trying to force your way through it. Meanwhile, Neptune’s retrograde station is asking you to reassess your values and priorities. In some respect you may be weighing material and financial stability against personal satisfaction and inner fulfillment. Stop and pause for the moment, and ask yourself: Which for you, is really your most important priority right now?
Think of all those things, people and situations that are most meaningful to you, and whether or not you have made enough room for things like spirituality, meaning, art, or those things that fill your heart with inspiration, wonder and awe. Both of the ruling planets of Pisces are now entering their retrograde phases, in their own sign of Pisces. And as Neptune now stalls for its station, this is the prime time to cultivate all the positive qualities of this mystical planet: seek solace, peace, serenity, and sublimity. See the beauty that surrounds you and is within your own sweet Pisces soul and imagination, of which this world is merely a reflection. Tho it appears without, it is within, In your Imagination, of which this world of mortality is but a shadow. (Wm. Blake). Enjoy these retrograde phases of Jupiter and Neptune as they unfold from your heart and mind.
