Aries

You could find yourself motivated and inspired by the idea of doing something that will benefit others in some significant way. This will be especially true if you become aware of a particularly oppressive situation which needs changing. Go with it. It is bringing you where you need to go right now. Even if it means moving into new new territory, or doing something different from what you have before. You’re feeling a little rebellious. One thing that could become apparent is that when people are gathered together under shared ideals, or because they have certain causes or goals in common, they can make ground breaking changes. This is because in some circumstances, we become a force to be reckoned with when we join forces with others. And as a result, so much more can be accomplished in the company of others than we can just on our own. So if there is something that you are feeling particularly passionate about, and you find others that share the same sentiment, perhaps you might decide to lock arms in common cause.

Taurus

You could receive help from friends, or through those who are gathered together and share similar aims. Together you could be a force for compassionate change, make a difference in the world, or on a more mundane level even form a musical or reading group. It depends on what your own aspirations are right now. But know that this is a time in which you could benefit from networking, or collaborating with others who are on the same page and have the same interests. This can be an asset at work as well, where you can accomplish more through teamwork, than you could on your own, even though you will probably want to lead the team right now. Collaborating with others will have good results. Provided you are all on the same page. You won’t have the patience for dissension and quibbling. Surrounding yourself with like-minded people may be less challenging, and may even be a little less interesting, but it will also free you up to express yourself in an honest and open way. 

Gemini

People may be seeing you as someone who is busy, focused and able to get things done. And yes you are capable of expertly juggling many objects in the air. But what may not be as obvious is that it is all you can do to stay centered on what is right in front of you right now. Part of that is because of all that is going on in your outside world which is pulling you in several directions at once. But another part of that is internal, as you are negotiating all of the what if’s in your own mind. In a simpler world this would be an ideal time to go to the top of a mountain to contemplate your current circumstances, and meditate on which would be the best path moving forward. But real life with all of its obligations and distractions is not likely to accommodate. And so you are needing to do your contemplating even as you are juggling several things in the air, and all while still having to pretend to be focused and centered. One way to cope this week, is to focus on what is right in front of you at the moment. Allow the distractions to swarm around you. You will get to them, all in due time. And then when you are finished with what is in front of you, go on to the next thing. One thing at a time. One step at a time. 

Cancer

Like a fog descending over the landscape, just because someone says something is true, does not necessarily make it so. Not in this weather. Things will be clearer by the Full Moon on the 18th, but in the mean time you can barely see your hand in front of your own face. As a result, one of our biggest challenges these days is being able to discriminate between what is true, vs. what we want to be true, vs. what we fear might actually be true. This is why it is so important right now to check everything according to your own ethical standards. And if it doesn’t pass muster, put it aside. Ask yourself if what you are seeing, hearing and believing comes from a place of compassion and empathy, or is it promoting disharmony and division? Embrace the former and discard what is unreasonable. Follow your conscience and listen to your better angels, and even in the most confusing and murkiest of fogs, trust that you will find your way. Even small lights can help lead the way forward when the landscape is shrouded in mist. 

Leo

The Leo poet Charles Bukowski tells us that “your life is your life, don’t let it be clubbed into dank submission”. There is always some essence, some bit of light to hold on to. Something bright that looks like hope, a chance, or even a joy and moment of laughter. Even the smallest of lights can lead us through the darkness. So look out for the lights in your life, even when and if it looks dark. Especially when it does. And the more you recognize the lights that are there, when they are there, the more light will come. Like everything else it’s a practice. Practice in recognizing the light places in our lives, and practice in cultivating that light. And it’s not always where we think we will find it. Especially when we are exclusively only looking outside of ourselves. Bukowski goes on to tell us “your life is your life. know it while you have it. you are marvelous, the gods wait to delight in you.” As do we all, mere mortals that we are.

Virgo

Now that you are emerging out on to the field of life, you may be wondering when you can go back again into the safety of your own domain. But once the gates are opened, there will be no turning back. At least not for now. You’ve got things to do and people to see. It would be a lot more helpful if it weren’t all so infuriatingly confabulating. It’s all a Virgo can do to sort through the fogs the fugues and the propaganda. It’s totally messed up all of your spread sheets, so that nothing is adding up the way it used to. Sometimes you have to sit back and wait. And this can be difficult for a Virgo who is used to diving in and sorting everything out. But until we have all the information that is needed, you are going to need to be patient. Things may not be all that they appear to be. In the mean time, make sure that you get time for quiet reflection. Too much noise and commotion can easily lead to distraction. Dream, sing, dance, and imagine. Hopefully when you come back to real life, your spread sheets will be all sorted out again.  

Libra

Your social calendar is likely to be a bit busier over the next several weeks. It may feel a little awkward creeping out of the safety of your nest, but it’s time to connect with the outer world once again, even if at first you are reluctant to do so. Normally this would be great, except that you can’t quite figure how to fit everyone and everything into your increasingly amorphous schedule. You turn around twice and the day is already over, and only one thing on your list was crossed off. In some way you are going to have to adjust to this time warp. Going with the flow would be great if you were on a permanent vacation, but not very practical for every day life. Figuring out how to accomplish your daily tasks, while moving through a misty fugue is a challenge. Then throw in some additional social engagements and it all falls apart. The key to working through this period is to focus on what is right in front of you now, while ignoring the myriad distractions that are taunting you. And then move on to the next task. Before you know it you will have made it through at least part of your list, and may even have some time left over to meet up with the girls later on. Think of it as the 1960’s hippy zen version of order and efficiency. 

Scorpio

If you are finding yourself wanting to change things up in the home environment, you might want to go with it. One thing we’ve all been playing with is the idea that we don’t have to keep doing things the way we always have in the past. Changing things up can have a remarkable effect on your perspective and your psyche. Even small touches can shift your whole outlook. And this creative new perspective could be helpful in other ways, for you are now entering a period in your life, in which you are wanting to be seen in a better light. Sometimes just by shifting the slant a little bit, you can change the narrative just enough to cast a flattering filter on your current situation. It may require a little sleight of hand, and perhaps a bit of smoke and mirrors, but it can make all the difference when all is said and done. Get your hair done. Add a little spice. This will be especially helpful if you are needing to make an impression. You’ll want to show off a little this week, so look for ways to make yourself or what you do look good. And a little smoke and mirrors and some better lighting can sometimes make all the difference. 

Sagittarius

Normally flamboyant Sagittarius may be a little less flamboyant than usual this week. Last week you all were having a sudden burst of energy, but you may find yourself wanting to bid a hasty retreat this coming week with the Sun/Neptune conjunction. This is a week for introspective retreats, and perhaps, dare we say it, quiet reflection. Too much commotion can easily lead to distraction. Therefore turn down the volume, and allow yourself a bit of stillness. You are needing this time out to connect with yourself. And the best ways to do so are by dreaming, reflecting, creating, and visualizing. It is probably not the best time to make major decisions, as you may not have all the information you need, and you may be too hasty to jump to conclusions. It won’t take long. Things will become more apparent at the Full Moon on the 18th. In the mean time sit back and use this time to connect with yourself. 

Capricorn

Use this week to gather your thoughts and dreams and hopes about you. But don’t take things too seriously just yet. It could be that you may not have all the facts, or all of your ducks in a row to make fully informed plans or decisions. And it could even feel like your schedule is getting out of hand. There are only so many things that you can fit into a day. And no matter how organized you may normally be, some things may just need to be let go this week, as certain other priorities are taking over. Trying to fit too much into a day will just leave you feeling confused, exhausted and at your wits end. So let them go. The best advice for this week is to do some triage and prioritize your tasks. And then approach them one by one. Focusing on what is before you, allow all the distractions to revolve around you as they will, while remaining present. Then when you are finished move on to the next task. Know that even on a super busy day, the hours and task come to you always one moment at a time. Think of them as coming one by one in single file, and before you know it you will have made it through to the other side. 

Aquarius

Venus and Mars are trying to ignite the altruistic embers of your Aquarian heart. They are asking you to prioritize your life according to those things, people, experiences that you feel most passionate and concerned about. What are those things that your heart is most yearning for? What is it that you really really want? In what ways have you maybe been depriving yourself? Then ask yourself why? It may be something so simple that you would not normally even give it much credence. But if it is calling to you, know that there is something more here than meets the eye. For it may be more about filling your life with greater meaning and purpose, about living a life of quality rather than quantity. Venus wants you to indulge yourself. But Mars is trying to motivate you, and he will be here to help you to do so all the way through the middle of April. You’ve got things to do, and Mars is here to make sure you do them. 

Pisces

Last week the Sun was shining a light on Jupiter, the traditional ruling planet of Pisces. This coming weekend the Sun will be conjunct Neptune, your modern ruling planet. Carrying the light from one to the next is setting a trend for the Jupiter/Neptune conjunction in April, which can feel like a grand entrance for Pisces, out on to the field of life. Some great beginning is trying to unfold, and with it will be born the very heart and essence of all that is Pisces. We will be speaking more of this as we approach the Piscean conjunction in April, but for now, know that it is trying to inspire you to move in a direction that will help you to fulfill your destiny, allow you to lead a more spiritually fulfilling life or lifestyle, or to perhaps fulfill a dream however so small. And betwixt and between all that, we are also coming to realize our own spiritual truths, and to live them with conviction, not in name only. So if by chance you find yourself discouraged by events this week, even if things seem so riddled by despair, know that there is something else going on here. Something much more profound, that is bringing you to realize something that is much much higher here. Something that is worth investing in.
