4/24 ~ Mercury (communication/expression) ~square~ Saturn (limits/reality): This energy is good for deep self-reflection and intentional solitude rather than negotiating with others as it can create challenges around communication & self-expression. It is easier to feel misunderstood when trying to convey something or you may seem a little down to others when it’s more of a serious, not necessarily negative vibration. This is not usually good energy for business negotiations unless every detail is very clear to all involved. This energy often makes you most critical of your Self, but it could trickle over onto others as well.

Basically, Saturn helps you see where any weakness & instability is going on, so you’re recognizing what needs to be fixed or fortified, and Mercury can actually be useful for learning. Beware of a tendency toward apathy, pessimism and/or depression, that’s Saturn & Mercury, which makes it more mental than literal. Try to stay focused on all the blessings that you do have and all that you have accomplished instead of what’s still on the list of things to do (in life). This energy is not intended to make you feel bad about all the things left yet to do but encourage you to begin the necessary steps and be okay with small measures of progress for now. This energy tends to make you focus on the practical side of manifesting. Clear the mental distractions & emotional debris, and begin to lay a new, clean, solid foundation beneath your goals. Then, strategize about the details of bringing them to fruition. That will cheer you up too!

4/24 ~ Mercury (expression) ~sextile~ Neptune (dreams):
This is a great energy for imagination, consciousness and intuition, however, keeping a good filter to distinguish between your own perceptions and what you are picking up from those around you will be crucial to your success. Your mind may be tuned-in to a different channel than usual this week and you may have to rely on other senses, like your feelings or intuitive hunches. You may be very perceptive, picking up on the thoughts & feelings of others, which if/when you are clear (and your filters are working) can yield some surprising revelations about where their consciousness is, at this time (for better or worse) but it also reflects an aspect of your own consciousness that you may not have been aware of, so let’s pay attention. Try to avoid work that requires any attention to detail. Allow your creativity to flow freely without censoring what comes through you at this time. You can organize it later. This is the energy to explore, create and free-flow!

4/27 ~ Mercury (your voice) ~sextile~ Jupiter (expansion):
(1 of 3: 4/27 ~ 5/19 ~ 6/20)  Where Sun sextile Jupiter is more about YOU, the individual, this activation is more about your consciousness, ideas, thoughts & concepts (Mercury), which Jupiter expands in some way, helping you to ‘think bigger’, edit your personal Story and step up your game in some way. This is also a great energy to work with if you are in school, learning something new, expanding your knowledge base or gathering new tools & information to support your goals. Your dreams are tapping you on the shoulder, demanding some attention. Mundane issues are not your concern right now, you want to figure out how to create the life you’ve been imagining. This energy also provokes within you the awareness & understanding that being generous, naturally attracts generosity to you. The big picture and overall patterns which have led you to this point are being brought into the light. Feeling clear, sharp, alert and optimistic, you begin to realize that anything you can imagine (or remember), you can achieve.

4/27 ~ Venus (values) ~conjunct~ Neptune (dreams):
This energy is the power of your vision combined with your deepest values. It is the initiation of a new dream or the birth of some creative project that is ready to come through you. It’s a good time to reflect on the big picture of your life and make sure that your connection to the whole, your contribution and your purpose are all truly in-alignment with your values & priorities of now. It is time to be more intuitive than linear – time to inspire rather than convince. Finances and relationships are hard to sort out definitively with this energy, so it is better to express yourself creatively or artistically. This energy reminds you how interrelated everything is, so aligning your values within/without goes a long way for manifesting the vision for one and all. Follow your intuition, maintain integrity & stay grounded anytime Neptune is involved.

4/28 ~ Mercury (ideas, thoughts & concepts) ~trine~ Pluto (rebirth & transformation): (1 of 3: 4/28 ~ 5/25 ~ 6/10)   This activation makes any deep delving within easier and more fruitful. It encourages you to ask the deeper questions, clarify your deeper feelings and trust your intuitive gut hunches that are telling you something has to die so that some other aspect of your consciousness can live. You will want to explore your Inner Self, sort through recently gathered information and try to understand better what your own natural process really is. It is best to be alone for such research. Take a day or a weekend and grab your most powerful books & music and get somewhere beautiful if you can, if not, then your bedroom will do just as well – and dig deep! You are finally ready for the deeper truth, and you will be transformed by what you learn. If you must communicate with others, plan on that being deep as well, so best to talk to a trusted advisor or wise elder. Nothing superficial today. The only warning with this energy is not to become obsessive about one particular idea – and certainly don’t try to force any ideas on others. If you feel the deep need to focus on one particular thing, that is fine but try to keep some perspective or write down all your revelations so that you can reflect on them at a later time when you can be more objective and prioritize better.

4/29 ~ Pluto Rx 28* CAPRICORN:
Pluto is in a long process of purification & transformation (2008-2024) and retrogrades annually, facilitating evolution on a much more subtle level, although if your chart is activated, it may not *feel* so subtle to you. On a personal level, Pluto helps you dig up any destructive, unconscious patterns, strips you raw and confronts you with who you are and how you will survive when nothing and no one else is available to help or support you. I also like to think of Pluto as our ‘buried treasures’ and like diamonds, it often requires a very special task to release from within and bring into the Light. Often, because Pluto rules death, rebirth & transformation, something is sacrificed for your own greater good. Although it may be sometimes painful and debilitating, it doesn’t have to be, but is almost always (a) necessary and (b) ultimately *liberating*!! It’s what we call a *liberating ordeal* – never easy but always worth it.

Pluto is traveling through the Capricorn sector of your chart, digging deep and activating any other planets you may have in Capricorn (and Cancer/Aries & Libra by default). So, it’s good to look at this as an on-going purification & transformation of these departments in life. Pluto moves generations and great numbers of people along their evolutionary path, however, every year when it retrogrades, it turns that energy inward, giving us unique access to our own depths, where our SoulSelf resides. When it goes forward (10/8), then it is a very gradual awakening process that develops from there. Transformation happens behind the scenes and often away from the prying eyes of others, as well as your own conscious monkey-mind, this is deep Transformational Soul Work that only you can do. What have you really purified & transformed this year? or what would you like to?

Use this time to set intentions for purification in the sense that you are supported to strip away the non-essential and reconnect with your purest, original intent. Change is greatly supported at this time, so anything that you are really ready, truly willing & finally able to change, can be transformed forever. Capricorn gets everyone focused on choices & responsibilities, as well as the structure of your life that supports & protects you and the overall stability of whatever House it rules. This is where you should channel your energies and focus to improve at this time.

4/29 ~ Mercury Enters GEMINI (until July 11th):
Mercury is entering its home sign, doubling its normal influence out the gate, but it is also where it is going to Retrograde so let’s prepare for some personal processing over the next 2-months. On any day, Mercury activates our mental processes, mental capacity, mental speed and all of our ideas, thoughts, concepts & perceptions. When in Gemini, it increases the likelihood that you are going to need some extra grounding and extra time to individually process whatever is coming “UP” for you at this time. Normally, this would be the time to look at your current ideas and options and more/less weigh them out and it would only be for the usual 3-weeks but now, because of the Retrograde, you are processing and reviewing bigger concepts in your life. You have to review how your thoughts manifest your reality, how/when/why you get stuck in any kind of negative mind-loops and where what you believe influences what you think is even possible. This is a major upgrade to our intelligence, thinking & ways of processing all that Life throws at us.

Mercury Retrograde happens 3-4 times per year, so we get multiple opportunities to process our lives and do a personal *data dump* of all the non-essential bits of information that we pick up along the course of our daily lives. That means we also get 3-4 times per year to take a time-out from INPUT!! PAUSE – go inward – review the last 3-months at a minimum. Mercury will Retrograde 5/10, move back into Taurus and go Direct in Taurus on 6/3, at which point you will be able to re-dream your vision and move forward on a completely new level. Last year, Mercury Retrograded in ALL Air Signs, activating our consciousness to evolve & grow – opening us up to radically new ideas, thoughts & concepts. This year, Mercury will go backwards in Air Signs, giving us a chance to recalibrate those ideas one more time before we begin to create all new containers for them, when Mercury goes Direct. This Air/Earth combo is special and is giving us an opportunity to re-think our fundamentals of food, sex & money as well as which ideas are going to be worthy of our energy & investment going forward. April kicks off the upgrade, May we review our personal needs & desires around personal security & comfort and then June allows us to move forward with more clarity on which ideas will be worth our time, energy, money & efforts going forward.

This time, as most of you know, can be weird in that communication breakdowns are that much more likely to occur – like misunderstandings between people, computers, cars or mechanical breakdowns. But again, that is the Universe’s way of telling us to slow down and check on things – do some personal maintenance. It’s time to do a mental cleansing, cleaning & clearing so that whatever choices you make going forward are for your Highest Good. This is a time to turn inward to listen for your Soul’s guidance, to commune with your Angels, Ancestors & Animal Spirit Guides because the veils are thinner, and it will be easier to hear them. Try to keep a light, flexible schedule and take any down-time that you can to process & integrate your own life so that you can organize your own ideas and take advantage of the options & opportunities presenting themselves NOW.

4/30 ~ Pallas Enters TAURUS (until July 4th):
It takes Pallas about 5-years to make it back around to Taurus and this time is special because Uranus & North Node are there at the same time, increasing each other’s potency on personal, social & collective levels. Pallas is your Sacred Feminine Wisdom, your Healing Capacity & Unique Genius. In Taurus, it is the wisdom of your senses and your physical body & environment. It is going to assist you with healing your relationships & finances because there has been an evolution over the last 5-years and it is time for you to upgrade your body & personal space. Your *Unique Genius* is going to come from your Body & Soul Connection ~ how well you allow your Soul to guide your Body’s choices. Again, it is time for an upgrade of some sort so that you can make more appropriate choices for the here & now.

The extra *JuJu* comes from Uranus’ influence, activating our sovereignty & liberation from the old, toxic masculine, patriarchal energy and showing us that the Beauty Way or the Sacred Feminine Way honors LIFE and new life is awakening within and around us at this time. Anytime Uranus is involved, you can have such awakenings, the key is to NOT fall back asleep but do everything you can to release the past and step boldly into the future, secure in the knowledge that all that you need, desire & deserve will be presented along the way. I Trust!!

The other thing is the North Node, which represents the current Life Path & Direction for all of us so there is an aspect of Taurus/Scorpio being activated for all of us and that is part of the Life/Death/Life Cycle that is always part of our existence on Earth. 4/30 ~ Venus (values & priorities) ~conjunct~ Jupiter (truth & story):
This is an extremely powerful energy that brings the two *benefactors* together to initiate a new cycle that makes you very mentally “present” to the fact that both your values and your truth are shifting. This energy encourages you to improve your life in some way. You can also connect to material abundance & wealth of all kinds when these two get together like this. This is usually a pleasant shift because it is about expanding your sense of authentic beauty, as in Nature & the interrelatedness of all living things. There’s an energy of enthusiasm around new or growing relationships which attracts more positive energy. This is the best time to be creative and expect miracles!

4/30 ~ TAURUS New Moon/Solar Eclipse (2 of 7 Eclipses):
Every year, at this time, we tend to our individual Gardens, that sacred place where everything we love has a place to grow, develop & bear fruit but this year and next are special because we are anchoring an New 20-year Cycle in our Taurus/Scorpio Depts. What has run its course in your life since 2002-05? or since 2012-14? Those are the last years that we dealt with this kind of change. What would you like to cultivate in your Garden at this time? This is always a chance to begin anew, anchoring the new ideas that got activated with the Aries New Moon a month ago, while also practicing the new routines that will help manifest and sustain whatever you’re creating at this time. Taurus energy, whether beginning or completing, always gives you the opportunity to assess your priorities. What is REALLY important right now? What nourishes, supports and sustains you now? And because Venus is involved, I’d add “Who” as well ~ Who nourishes, supports and sustains you now? Taurus is all about what we *cultivate* so look at what worked and what didn’t over the last 6-months-to-a-year and note what *building materials* you have at this time that would assist you in creating, manifesting and/or magnetizing a comfortable and fulfilling existence that truly reflects what you believe you are worth.

The Taurus lesson/energy is not so much about “waiting” as it is about slowing down to consciously cultivate and co-create with the energies, resources and opportunities presenting themselves at this time. Internally, you can anchor the aspects of the New Identity (Aries) recently activated, these are the aspects of self which you feel will support & sustain you going forward in this brand new territory. Whether energetically “new territory” or actual, physical, literal “new territory” we are all on some new ground. This is the time of year to renew your commitment and dedication to living the life you feel most worthy of. Take stock of what you have released & cleared, as well as what you have acquired or built, give appreciation for ALL, then truly detach because you are worth so much MORE! There’s NEW energy & support available, and because your *values & priorities* have permanently shifted over recent years, it is good to reflect on what deeply supports who you are here & now.
