This energy is a tough, yet powerful one. Its Highest expression would be to focus on your own inner deep-dig, discovery of consciousness & development of soul. It enables you to look beneath the surface to some core drives and gain some valuable insights and thus, choose a plan of action based on your findings. You will want to know all the hidden meanings behind decisions you’ve made or want to make soon. Dig – you will find more than you think you’re ready for, but apparently the Universe thinks differently!

Pay attention and try not to worry about what anyone else thinks or believes. This energy’s flip-side is to make you obsess over one particular idea and try to force others to your way of thinking. That is a bottomless pit – you cannot truly change the way other people think – you can only change the way you think and hope it enlightens others along the way … and it will, for those who are tuned into your frequency or level of consciousness. Try to only focus on you and your direction.

FALL Equinox ~ Harvest Time ~ Rhythm is a beautiful thing! Taking some time at the turn of each Sacred Season notifies the Universe that you are ready, willing and able to co-create with Mother Earth. FALL Equinox is the time of year to bring all your projects to a close, finish whatever you can and start looking toward new projects.

Balance & Integrate what is working and release the rest. If you willingly (and lovingly) release that which is not working, the next Season will go a lot smoother when you go to truly close the year in preparation for a new Solar year.

Harvest is about assessing and gathering all that you’ve created for the year, and ultimately, reaping the rewards of all your hard work and labor. Some of your *Harvest* will be tangible, in that, creative projects that can/will bear fruit now that they are complete, stable or in place … and some of your *Harvest* will be intangible, as you have further cultivated your own Being over the last year and now you (and others) can benefit from your personal integration & renewed strength.

Renewed connection to Balance and this inner alignment with your Higher Self inspires the goals for the coming season. Fall Equinox is a time of BALANCE. It is time of balance between Light & Shadow and takes us from movement out in the world, to more inner, “work with what you’ve got” energy, using your resources and creations to build on & expand, primarily behind the scenes in preparation for Spring Initiation, 6-months from now.

Libra is the Sign of the Season and is Ruled by Venus, which reminds us that *ALL* LIFE is inextricably connected. Any imbalances affect all life (eventually). As living, conscious Beings, we strive for balance in all that we think, feel, say and do. You can access your inner-Libra and re-center, so you are more effective in your Being-ness and more useful to Life.

9/23 ~ Mercury (communication/expression) ~square~ Saturn (limits/reality): (1 of 3:  9/23 ~ 11/1 ~ 11/6)
This energy is good for deep thinking rather than negotiating with others as it is more of a solitary energy making communications with others a little harder than usual. You may feel like people don’t understand what you’re trying to convey or that you’re coming across more negative than positive. This is not a good energy for business negotiations unless every detail is very clear to all involved. This energy makes you most critical of your Self, but it could trickle over onto others as well. Beware of a tendency toward apathy, pessimism and/or depression, that’s Saturn & Mercury, which makes it more mental than literal. Try to stay focused on all the blessings that you do have and all that you have accomplished instead of what’s still on the list of things to do (in life). This energy is not intended to make you feel bad about all the things left yet to do, but encourage you to begin the necessary steps and be okay with small measures of progress for now. This energy just makes you focus on the practical side of manifesting. Clear the mental & emotional debris, and begin to lay a new, clean, solid foundation beneath your goals and strategize about the details of bringing it to fruition.

9/24 ~ Mercury (thoughts, communication & expression) ~oppose~ Mars Rx (desires, action & aggression):
This energy is a mixed blessing. It is a time to consider thoughtful action, not impulsive reaction. Any opposition requires we find the balance, in this case, between our thoughts and actions. You may swing between extremes of keeping your thoughts or feelings all bottled up inside, until they explode … and spewing every thought that comes into your mind before truly considering why or to whom you are speaking. If you are already imbalanced and experiencing any kind of personal blockage or famine, you may feel a deep need to be heard which (under pressure) makes you want to tell people what you really think, without any filter. The problem is, whether you actually say anything to anyone or not, you still may be giving off angry vibrations which will likely bring more challenges & contrary people into your realm and you could end up in an argument either way. So the only way to really control or avoid this type of combative nature (within or without) is to recognize that only the ego needs to be “heard” in this way, Spirit always only seeks peace, and in this case, balance. How has your ego been leading lately? If you are NOT already imbalanced, but in a strong place, feeling productive and moving forward in your life, then this is a great time to ask those you trust, and who can be objective, to give you some constructive criticism to help you improve your Self or your position at this time. No matter what, it is a good time to pause before speaking or acting and ask your Self what exactly it is that you’d like to express or acquire at this time. Any impulsive, reactive thoughts, words or deeds are likely to bring more problems than solutions.
