Sabian Symbols Showing the Light of Sharing Expressed Through An Awareness of The Light Field We All Are Together.

This Full Moon is the ninth since the Solstice conjunction launched a new long term era. We’re headed into the future!

As I offered in previous articles, we had several extraordinarily important long wave conjunctions in January 2020 which were set into motion in March 2020. All the conjunction points made by Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto in January and March were activated by Mars in March 2020, and its conjunction with Saturn at 1 Aquarius set long wave structures into play which are expanding and currently taking shape.

That “Great Compression” of planets in early 2020 created a very crowded house in a very narrow span of degrees, impacting where we have late Capricorn for many years to come. Add the three conjunctions of Jupiter with Pluto as it transited back and forth over the January and March degree points, and we’ve had a lot of long wave Pluto energies expanded which will show effects over the next decade! As the Full Moon fulfills the themes of the previous New Moon, we now can use the communication, play, and creativity we’ve practiced these past two weeks and BE a greater Light in our world. With Leo and Virgo so strong, we’re still in a phase of learning to play at our work and work at our play.

The wave that began last April and was given wings in December will take clearer shape as Saturn sits between 7-14 Aquarius this year. Last year we were “galvanized into action” and “liberated from adverse conditions.” This Full Moon with the Moon in the “Transfiguration Zone” indicates we all can get a fix on the larger transformation process in our lives, and how we are related to other Light Beings in the collective field.

This year Jupiter gave us an expansive view of all of Aquarius between January and mid-May, with a major review coming this month and September as we move through the second phase of our long term transfiguration into a new life. Once it goes direct, we’ll get a third look at the last part of Aquarius before Jupiter races through Pisces in early 2022.

The Sun in Fire and the Moon in Air shows a time of the Fixed Fire (stabilizing inspiration) of Leo expressing its consistent expression of heart energy through the Fixed Air (stabilizing ideas and interrelatedness) of Aquarius. In this chart, 2 planets are in the first third of their signs, 3 planets are in the second third of their signs, and 5 planets are in the last third of their signs. This indicates a huge emphasis on the individual, mental, and spiritual fields, with a little more focus on the social/emotional field and relatively little emphasis on the actional-material field.

Why Are Full Moons So Important?

At a Full Moon, that which has opened since the previous New Moon surfaces in a public form, and heads toward the culmination and fruition symbolized by the second half of any cycle. First half, birth into form and field. Second half, culmination and completion of the purpose of that cycle.

That’s why it’s important to regard the New and Full Moon charts as “God’s Footprints in Time,” since one follows the other in an unending sequence of births of newer and newer seeds. The New Moons show us the seeds that will flourish under the reflected light of the Full Moon.

Full Moons heighten feelings, due to the opposition of the Moon and the Sun. We’ve finished many months of no transit to transit oppositions other than those made by the Moon, and began a new run when Mars opposed Pluto. Because we now have three oppositions it means we have two evolutionary “Tension of Opposites” in this Lunation, the first narrowly focused involving 28-30 Leo/Aquarius and 1-2 Virgo/Pisces, and the second a wide span involving 13-25 Virgo/Pisces.

Dispositors - What's the Backdrop to the Energies?

The Sun is in Leo, its home sign, making it the ruler of itself. The Moon is in Aquarius, making Saturn its worldly ruler and Uranus its spiritual ruler. As the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Saturn, and Neptune are in their home signs, they are their own final dispositors.

So this Full Moon features FIVE “final dispositors” ruling all the other planets. A final dispositor is a planet in one of its “home signs,” or the signs it rules. The Sun rules itself; Mercury and Mars are ruled by Mercury; Venus and Uranus are ruled by Venus; and the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto are all ruled by Saturn; Neptune, as usual, is a “standalone” planet, ruling itself. That means the rulerships are fairly spread out this month with lots of players sharing center stage.

By looking at how “chains of dispositors,” “final dispositors,” and “mutual reception” are in play between the planets, we get a clear picture of the backdrop for how each planet operates. The Sabian Symbols for the Full Moon

This Full Moon falls at 30 Leo and 30 Aquarius. It is said that the last third (decan) of any sign deals with the individual, mental, and spiritual levels of life, and as the Lunation is in the third decan of those signs, invokes a sub-influence of Aries and Libra.

Since the Moon always focuses the light of the Sun in specific forms, the degree symbols for both are important. The Sun degree is the illumination or enlightenment of the Lunation, whereas the Moon shows us the potential forms that enlightenment will take. Though I’ve given you a sense of what this is about up to now, here’s where we go into detail.

The Solar Sabian symbol for the 30th degree of Leo is "An unsealed letter." In the original notes from the Marc Jones class on the symbols published in The Astrology of Personality,, Rudhyar ways this is a degree of "Basic faith in the goodness of life," "confidence," and "...trust in, or desire to see to the bottom of all things.”

In The Astrological Mandala he states the keynote is "the realization by the individual that all thoughts and all messages are inevitably to be shared with all (beings)." He offers that this degree helps us understand the futility of believing that our ideas and feelings are exclusively ours, and that we must learn to share what we know with others to release the best potential of the individual. Here we can see that we are "a participant in the One Mind of humanity," and that "nothing can really be hidden, except superficially and for a brief time."

This is a degree finalizing Leo energies, where we see we are all part of the "global brain," and that when Spirit speaks to one, others will also hear the call. It falls in the Span of Interpretation, Act of Stabilization, and is the culminating degree in the Scene of Release on the Individual-Mental level.

According to Dr. Jones, creator of the Sabian Symbols, this degree is about "the spiritual integrity of all things in and of themselves," where we learn the value of discretion. Here we find that "suspicion is a poison to the mind whenever it becomes a set of temperament rather than a normal competency in applying the lessons of experience." Here we learn about trusting others regardless of past disappointments so we can discover how much we should or should not do so in our individual interactions.

He offers the keyword CONFIDENCE. When positive it's said to be a degree of "exceptional skill in winning and holding the respect of everybody."

So the Light of the next two weeks involves demonstrating nonpossessiveness regarding knowledge, and learning how to share what knowledge and insights we've acquired and value so that others may be benefited thereby. Here we also “see the Light” regarding who we can and cannot trust through sharing "vital and confidential news." It offers us the promise of inspired ideas that we should share with others in our world.

The Lunar degree symbol for the 30thdegree of Aquarius is "The field of Ardath in bloom." According to Rudhyar’s notes from the Marc Jones class originally published in The Astrology of Personality, this degree is one of “Soul refreshing inner poetry of being," and "Spiritually nurtured sentiment which illumines the heart."

In The Astrological Mandala he states the keynote is “the ability for the person with an open mind and a deep feeling for self-transcendence to come in contact with higher forms of existence.” We are told this is the nature of the collective Light field we all share together as Light Beings, and this degree implies finding “spiritual memories.” He offers that this is a degree fulfilling Aquarius energies where we may find a profound contact and identification with elements of ancient Babylonian wisdom, or even members of a true Spiritual Brotherhood. Here we can directly experience states of "multi-unity," where many come together within a vast field of Light-Life.

As we are all Light particles living within vast waves of Light, here we can find fulfillment in spiritual group awareness and what he terms "Conscious Totality of Being." He says this degree falls in the Span of Perspective, Act of Capitalization, and Scene of Management on the Individual-Mental level.

Dr. Jones says this is a degree of "the spiritual integrity of nature herself, a "mystic meadow" showing us "an ageless... challenge to modern life." He speaks of "the inherent friendliness of the universe," and "the capacity of (our) destiny to endow (us) with fruits of (our) good rather than (our) bad works." He offers the keyword CONTINUITY, and states that when positive, the degree is "self-illumination through exceptional service to others."

So this is a degree of individual-mental activity in a group setup helping us manage our energies within a larger field of interconnected light-life. Here we see the power of non-separateness bringing us "the benefits and merits of our altruistic behavior," so that we can find healthy interdependence within an enlightened field leading us to a higher awareness of "the I and I" and "conscious totality of Being."

As this degree falls in the zone of transition from the end of the Age of Pisces to the entry into the Age of Aquarius, it will bring a focus on the approaching "Cusp of the Age." Perhaps over the next two weeks we can catch glimpses of what our collective future could look like over the next 100 years!

From these symbols it seems we can see the light of sharing and trust, confidence and winning respect in a new spiritual awareness expressed through seeing ways to make a greater contribution within a collective set up. Play with spontaneous radiance expressed as an awareness of collective unity. The Sun illuminates our ability to be playful and creative in a generous sharing of self and its gifts, while the Moon expresses and gives form to this through helping us to an experience of our Light in a greater oneness with others.

TransPluto, Divine Mother, and the Tests of Human Redemption

At the 2020 World Teacher Full Moon of Sun in Gemini and Moon in Sagittarius I gave you a universal prayer/meditation offered to us by the Tibetan Master D.K. in April 1945 at the end of the war. Tens of millions around the world do this prayer every Full Moon, tuning into the Whole which we ALL are together. I said it every day for many years, and still say it every Full Moon. (It was a real trip to see eyes suddenly open and/or lightbulbs go on over people’s heads when I did it countless times riding the NYC subways when I lived there in the early 80s!)

In 1976 I changed a few words to make it more universal. For your consideration,

The Great Invocation

From the point of Light within the mind of God
Let Light stream forth into the minds of All,
Let Light descend on Earth

From the point of Love within the heart of God
Let Love stream forth into the hearts of All
May Christ return to Earth

From the center where the Will of God is known
Let Purpose guide the little Wills of All
The Purpose which the Masters know and serve

From the center which we call the Human Race
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

Again, as I’ve offered you many times before, when you see the title "The Christ" if you are so inclined please substitute "World Teacher," "Bodhisattva," "Imam Madhi," "Krishna," “Kristos,” "Avalokiteshvara," "Maitreya," "Messiah," or any other term used to describe this Great Being. And if you substitute “Enlightened Ones” or “Wise Ones” for “Masters” I doubt it would offend anyone.
