Advanced Instruction Expressed In Precise Aim -

This Full Moon is the ninth one since the Great Mutation waveform was activated at the end of March. This long but weak Lunar Eclipse will remove many old attitudes as we bridge past and future with important waxing and waning septiles!

Remember that we had several extraordinarily important long wave conjunctions in January which were set into motion in March. All the conjunction points made by Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto in January and March were activated by Mars in March, and its conjunction with Saturn at 1 Aquarius set structures into play which will be needed in the 200 era to come beginning with the Great Mutation of December 2020.

That “Great Compression” of planets created a very crowded house in a very narrow span of degrees, impacting the houses where we have late Capricorn for many years to come. Add the three conjunctions of Jupiter with Pluto as it transited back and forth over the January and March degree points, and we’ve had a lot of long wave Pluto energies tremendously expanded which will show effects over the next decade! As the Full Moon fulfills the themes of the previous New Moon, we now can take the energies of the “repair work expressed as an ability to create happiness in dark hours” we’ve been experiencing since the New Moon and now can re-focus through a Sagittarius-Gemini lens. This one helps us let go of extraneous ideas and philosophical considerations and reconnect with Source. Go deeper into your connection to Self, others, and Source.

This Full Moon should be liberating in what it takes away so other Sag/Gemini energies can come in. It’s been a time of simplifying many elements of our lives, and finding peace after the tumultuous Cardinal squares and oppositions pervading July, August, September, and October. So be at peace as old views give way to new futures and advanced learning techniques. We’ve trained this year for the group work we’ll be doing in 2021 and 2022.

Saturn continues to be incredibly powerful as it finishes its stay in its home sign of Capricorn. It went SD on a degree of the world Soul, so we’ve all had opportunities to deepen our relationship to the greater life all around us. It now moves into its final approach to a new Aquarian era as we finish up the transition period of “cosmic visitations galvanizing us to action” which are “liberating us from adverse conditions.”

The Sun in Fire and the Moon in Air shows a time of the Distributive Fire (spreading inspiration) of Sagittarius expressing its visions and truth through the Distributive Air (spreading ideas) of Gemini. As the inner planets are now all clustered in Scorpio and Sagittarius, it brings the intense focus to those houses in our charts, and indicates we’ve entered a time when the “local experience” is about to enter the outer planet span between Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in Taurus.

In this chart, 3 planets are in the first third of their signs, 3 planets are in the second third of their signs, and 4 planets are in the last third of their signs. This indicates a balance between the actional-material field and the social/emotional field, with a slightly greater emphasis on the individual, mental, and spiritual field.

Why Are Full Moons So Important?

At a Full Moon, that which has opened since the previous New Moon surfaces in a public form, and heads toward the culmination and fruition symbolized by the second half of any cycle. First half, birth into form and field. Second half, culmination and completion of the purpose of that cycle.

That’s why it’s important to regard the New and Full Moon charts as “God’s Footprints in Time,” since one follows the other in an unending sequence of births of newer and newer seeds. The New Moons show us the seeds that will flourish under the reflected light of the Full Moon.

Full Moons heighten feelings, due to the opposition of the Moon and the Sun. As I noted yesterday, we are now done with all transit to transit oppositions other than those made by the Moon, until the next run begins when Mars opposes Pluto in June 2021. That means the evolutionary “Tension of Opposites” in this Eclipse spans 7-11 Sagittarius and Gemini, which means some things are about to be removed and recycled in our lives. Stay open to learning advanced skills expressed in precisely aimed focus, and your skill ensures you’ll “hit the bullseye.”

Dispositors - What's the Backdrop to the Energies?

The Sun is in Sagittarius, making Jupiter in Capricorn its worldly ruler and Uranus in Taurus its spiritual ruler. The Moon in Gemini has Mercury inn Scorpio as its worldly ruler. So Jupiter and Mercury are the “powers behind the scenes” in this Lunation. As they are in close sextile, this indicates a very productive time ahead through organized elimination and regeneration.

This Eclipse returns us to three “final dispositors” ruling all the other planets. The Sun, Jupiter, and Pluto are ruled by Saturn in Capricorn; The Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Uranus are ruled by Mars in Aries; and Neptune, as usual, is a “standalone” planet, ruling itself. That means the rulerships are spread out this month between final dispositors Mars, Saturn, and Neptune. A final dispositor is a planet in one of its “home signs,” or the signs it rules. We now have at least three final dispositors through January.

By looking at how “chains of dispositors,” “final dispositors,” and “mutual reception” are in play between the planets, we get a clear picture of the backdrop for how each planet operates. The Sabian Symbols for the Full Moon

This Full Moon falls at 9 Sagittarius and 9 Gemini. It is said that the first third (decan) of any sign deals with the actional, material, and physical levels of life, and as the Lunation is in the first decan of those signs, invokes a sub-influence of Sagittarius and Gemini.

Since the Moon always focuses the light of the Sun in specific forms, the degree symbols for both are important. The Sun degree is the illumination or enlightenment of the Lunation, whereas the Moon shows us the potential forms that enlightenment will take. Though I’ve given you a sense of what this is about up to now, here’s where we go into detail.

The Solar degree symbol for the 9th degree of Sagittarius is "A mother with her children on stairs.” In the original Jones class notes Dane Rudhyar published in The Astrology of Personality, he states this is a degree of “conscious advance of selfhood from plane to plane,” “real courage in all approach to life,” and “inner guidance in all growth.”

In his Astrological Mandala, we are told that this degree is one of “the need in any social situation to assist the less evolved in their management of the problems which society requires its members to solve.” He goes on to state that this symbol is about learning to acquire a skill that is not “natural,” but necessary for life in society, and that the child learns by imitating the adults in their life.

He says this implies that each of us who have acquired a skill must be willing to teach it to those who comes after us, and that while “walking is a natural human function (but) climbing stairs is a skill made necessary” by our buildings. He states “what is implied here is social concern for the less evolved of society’s members.” He offers that this is in the Span of Receptiveness, and is the technical degree on the emotional-cultural level of the Scene of Abstraction in the Act of Group Integration.

Dr. Marc Jones says this symbol is one of “extreme alertness to the interests and needs of others,” and “high competency” in going for “ideal ends.” He goes on to state that we have “an inescapable duty… to remember that (we are our) brother’s keeper,” and we must ‘develop and demonstrate a genuine social conscience.”

He continues that in our “rounding out” of our “community usefulness” and in the “increasing recompense” we reap “fruits of service.” He offers us the keyword EDUCATION, and says when this degree is working positively, it’s one of “effective response to every personal challenge in everyday affairs.”

So the Light of the next two weeks involves teaching and being taught more effective responses to challenges to help sharpen our sense of purpose. Open to a broader social or emotional understanding, and see how we’re all “each other’s keeper.” Life is about educating and being educated, and sometimes we have to stretch our boundaries to break through obsolete parts of our family and cultural matrix.

The Lunar degree symbol for the 9th degree of Gemini is “A quiver filled with arrows.” According to Rudhyar’s notes from the Marc Jones class, this degree is one of "superiority and ease based upon training,” Sure marksmanship,” certain self-direction,” “preparedness,” and “invisible help in trouble.”

In The Astrological Mandala, he says the symbol of an arrow implies “the piercing of a target.” Since “the mind of man is essentially a trans-piercing power,” seeing “the object toward which it is aimed,” it implies we can penetrate any object we aim at, including our ego. He states this is a symbol of “Man, the Conqueror” seeking to conquer the outer nature, or instinctual drives and the limitations of ego. It is said to fall in the Span of Zeal, and the social-cultural level in the Scene of Discovery in the Act of Differentiation.

Dr. Jones, creator of the Sabian Symbols, states this degree is about “extreme alertness to the interests and needs of selfhood, and of high competency in pursuing any and all practical ends in view.” He says this is about our right to make demands on others, or “to bring to our service whatever helps us hold our place in the scheme of things.”

He further asserts that here we find the “fruits of the self-discipline and training” which equip us with skills we will continually use. He offers us the keyword of PREPARATION, and states when operating in a positive way, this degree is “unlimited personal capacity for rising to the issue of the moment on any level of experience.”

It seems from this symbol that we’re going to have the Lunar focus of preparedness and “high competency” showing us either a) we have prepared and can let our arrows loose, or b) it’s time to submit to preparations so we can do that. Many will discover they are “Zen archers” in the next two weeks (and 4+ months!).

From these symbols it seems the next two weeks we’ll see the Light of techniques of transferring information on the emotional or social level expressed through a greater expertise in applying our spiritual skills to others. Here the Light of “I imagine limitless possibilities of learning” can be expressed in a precise application of knowledge to achieve some discovery.

TransPluto, Divine Mother, and the Tests of Human Redemption

I’ve included this section for many years to keep you all aware of the workings of Divine Mother on our Earth in this Age in Transition. Rather than simply reprint it each month, I created this material as a separate article unto itself a while back. At the last World Teacher Full Moon of Sun in Gemini and Moon in Sagittarius I gave you a universal prayer/meditation offered to us by the Tibetan Master D.K. in April 1945 at the end of the war. Tens of millions around the world do this prayer every Full Moon, tuning into the Whole which we ALL are together. I said it every day for many years, and still say it every Full Moon. (It was a real trip to see eyes suddenly open and/or lightbulbs go on over people’s heads when I did it countless times riding the NYC subways when I lived there in the early 80s!)

In 1976 I changed a few words to make it more universal. For your consideration,

The Great Invocation

From the point of Light within the mind of God
Let Light stream forth into the minds of All,
Let Light descend on Earth

From the point of Love within the heart of God
Let Love stream forth into the hearts of All
May Christ return to Earth

From the center where the Will of God is known
Let Purpose guide the little Wills of All
The Purpose which the Masters know and serve

From the center which we call the Human Race
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

Again, as I’ve offered you many times before, when you see the title "The Christ" if you are so inclined please substitute "World Teacher," "Bodhisattva," "Imam Madhi," "Krishna," “Kristos,” "Avalokiteshvara," "Maitreya," "Messiah," or any other term used to describe this Great Being. And if you substitute “Enlightened Ones” or “Wise Ones” for “Masters” I doubt it would offend anyone.
