Winter Solstice Ceremony

On Wednesday, December 21st, 2022, at 4:49 PM (EST) – 21:49 UTC , our Sun will enter Tropical Capricorn signaling the Winter Solstice when our Sun will begin to rise to its zenith which it will reach next summer in June of 2023 at the Summer Solstice.

Ancient Astronomers referred to this as “The Sun Coming Out of Its Cave.”

Each seasonal change is significant.

Cosmic energetics tend to be very strong as our planet is activated by intensified solar flares, solar winds, coronal mass ejections (CMEs), and more.

The seasonal change into Winter in the Northern Hemisphere and Summer in the Southern Hemisphere this particular December is extremely profound because of all of the other cosmic events that have taken place and that have yet to take place such as the following:

1. December 3rd: Neptune moves “Direct” (Greater spiritual elevation is possible).
2. December 7th: Sun aligns with “The Great Attractor” and also Mercury enters its Pre-Shadow and the Full Moon occurs (Read the article on the details of this).
3. December 23rd: Chiron goes “Direct” and the New Moon occurs (Opportunities for healing on all levels).
4. December 29th: Mercury begins the height of its retrograde until January 18th of 2023 ( This is a major time for reflection, review, release).

Mars—the planet of assertiveness, aggression (often warfare), and energy— retrograded on October 30th and will move “Direct” on January 12th.

This is significant because obviously for all of December it is in retrograde.

Mars is one of the vibrational frequencies which affect human physical energy on our planet.

Thus, while in retrograde—which it does only every two years—people feel drained of energy even if they are sleeping well at night.

There is usually more physical energy when our Moon conjuncts anyone’s natal Sun or natal Mars even when Mars is retrograde. 

Still, however, there tends to be not as much energy as when Mars is “Direct” in the cosmos.

In terms of holidays, December 18th begins Hannukah; December 25th is Christmas; December 26th begins Kwanzaa; and December 31st is New Year’s Eve.

People are busily preparing for these celebrations with a deficit of energy.

Besides all that has been discussed, our Sun continues to blast out flares, CMEs, solar winds, etc. as the “Great Central Sun” gives our Sun its electromagnetic frequencies, and our solar system is traveling through the “Photon Belt”.

Even though it has been previously suggested that this December be considered the month of HOLY ILLUMINATION and that mankind should slow down accordingly, December 21st is an auspicious day on which to perform a special ceremony due to all of the events happening.

So, on the morning of December 21st (at dawn if possible), light a candle and fragrant incense and thank SOURCE for the blessings of this year and then pray for PEACE, HEALING, and LOVE to be poured into our planetary realm and for the Winter in the Northern Hemisphere and Summer in the Southern Hemisphere to be especially blessed with more of humanity leveling-up in consciousness so that the next age of “Dwarpa Yuga” and the “New Golden Age” of “Sattva Yuga” can be swiftly and easily born.

Then spend a portion of the day in longer meditation than usual. Write down what you may receive during your meditation in terms of revelations.

Purchase a small gift for someone or distribute greeting cards to office colleagues and say: “HAPPY WINTER SOLSTICE” (or “HAPPY SUMMER SOLSTICE” according to the hemisphere you reside in).
