The next two weeks feature THREE major evolutionary configurations; two involve high specialization and one will be “destiny producing.” This one generates a lot of gifts, interactions which are unique and perfect for our genius and our needs, and turning points in our relationship to the World Soul.

This month has a lot of great aspects and very few frictional ones! We return to having a lot of aspects this month, with the only friction being internal, provided by Mercury semisquare Saturn and Pluto. As it’s a waxing semisquare, draw the dots between the January Mercury conjunction to these spiritual powerhouses and what comes forth in the way of crucial emergent points these next 2 weeks.

The Eclipse Factor

Last Summer’s Solar Eclipse, as well as the Christmas Solar Eclipse and the more recent Lunar Eclipse, continue to take away everything which would block our ability to accept a “mantle of power” so that our Light can take shape as a new form of Truth, freedom, compassion, and obedience to Dharma. We’re always “under the beams” of recent Eclipses, as well as older ones. These “Cosmic Recyclers” are always helping us eliminate what we no longer need to deal with related to the sign and house they fell in.

Most recently, we’ve been shutting something down we no longer need in life areas symbolized by Cancer and Capricorn. The Nodes are the keys to understand how we’re accepting and growing, and what we’re demonstrating or letting go of. The Total Solar Eclipse of July 2019 at 11 Cancer has already begun to strip away all which would inhibit our sense of humor or irony. It’s also exposing others’ “ego pomposity” and resumptions, giving them a chance to take a breath and not take themselves so seriously.

Along with the Christmas 2019 Solar Eclipse at 5 Capricorn, we’re also still experiencing past Solar Eclipse “cosmic recycling” wherever we have 16 Capricorn, 21 Cancer and 19 Leo, due to Eclipses on these degrees. The endings of 2018 and 2019 helped us get organized, exploring what success really means to us, and letting go of old “social rigidities” to be happier.

All these Solar Eclipses, along with others, have allowed us to “shed skins” wherever we have 9, 19, and 30 Pisces, 28 Aquarius, along with 29 Leo, 10 Virgo, and 21 Virgo. As you can see, that involves a large part of our charts! I gave you all the Solar Eclipse links in the first article on the Christmas Solar Eclipse, specifying which are done and which are still in play.

Add various Lunar Eclipses in play for several months after they happened (including the January 2019 one at 1 Leo/Aquarius and the July 2019 one at 25 Cancer/Capricorn) and you can see areas where we’ve been eliminating things we no longer need. A good meditation would be to take a look back at how something related to that axis in your chart has left and been replaced with something new. All our losses associated with these signs have left voids which will attract life contents more appropriate to who we are now. Alternately, you may be feeling a void because someone else really isn’t there. Now it’s time to turn to what will nourish you.

Evolutionary Configurations

As noted earlier, we have a LOT of aspect action this month, with FIVE very important “evolutionary configurations” in action! The primary configurations involve 1) The opposition of the Lights being cut into a quintile and tredecile by Uranus, which is directly related to: 2) The opposition of the Lights being cut into a decile and biquintile by Jupiter (which is tredecile Uranus); 3) the opposition of the Lights being cut into a sextile and trine by Mars; 4) Mercury cutting a septile to both Jupiter and Uranus, creating its own irrational configuration; and 5) The Grand Irrationality is back in play via the Moon making triseptiles to Saturn and Neptune which are in septile, giving us echoes of the First Grand Irrationality of 1993-2017.

The first two involve 5th and 10th harmonic aspects, and cover all types of high specialization! The third generates tremendously favorable activity around 19-27 of the Fire and Air signs and fosters both adaptability and synthesis. The fourth would ordinarily be included in the Grand Irrationality, but Mercury is semisquare both Saturn and Pluto so it’s added a bit of friction to those planetary influences along with generating an irrational energy related to Jupiter and Uranus which will spur us to drop every extraneous factor as we quicken ourselves in the race!

The Grand Irrationality was extensively covered in the first article in this series. So yet again, irrationality is in the air for all of humanity, and we’ve hit a crucial fork in the road of our collective destiny! The septile between Saturn and Neptune is particularly powerful. For many, the rewards and power which come from self-discipline; for others, obsession over what is ending forever and the ruthless power of humanity and/or nature to make life harder than it needs to be.

Because the Grand Irrationality is being triggered by the Moon making 7th harmonic aspects to Saturn and Neptune, there will be a lot which won’t make much sense, and people will be more prone to acting in irrational ways. This evolutionary configuration is now bringing everyone to decisions which will develop during this time of the Great Compression, setting up the Mars conjunct Saturn at 1 Aquarius, priming the pump for a new 200 year Era to come at the end of 2020!

The Rhombus

Another powerful evolutionary configuration is happening right now involving Uranus and Neptune in a long term semisquare. When Uranus went retrograde at 7 Taurus in the Summer of 2019, it began to semisquare Neptune which anchors the off-again, on-again friction Rhombus Diamond configuration. It is activated each time any planet or the Moon moves through 17-22 Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces, as well as 2-7 Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius. In this chart it is not activated, though it will be in play as planets move through mid-Pisces and early Taurus, resetting the configuration for this year.

If you have a planet in any of these 8 zones, then as various planets move through any of the other zones, it generates a lot of friction, “cutting, grinding, and polishing us to perfection.” An exact Rhombus Diamond configuration is made every time there is a planet is in mid-Virgo opposing Neptune at the same time another planet in Scorpio opposed Uranus, with double semisquares and sesquisquares created between those planets.

This creates a massive Octile frictional configuration, which was most recently perfected in early September 2019 when Mercury and Venus opposed Neptune and sesquisquared Uranus at the same time the Moon transited early Scorpio opposing Uranus, semisquare transiting Mercury and Venus, and sesquisquare transiting Neptune. Because Jupiter was in mid-Sagittarius at the time, at that critical At that critical juncture we had tremendous friction due to SEVEN planets all in conjunctions and octile series aspects to each other! That friction continued for several weeks, since the Full Moon at 22 Virgo-Pisces had Mars square Jupiter and opposed Neptune, keeping 3 legs of the Rhombus active through late September 2019.

Major Aspects

Besides the various aspects I gave you related to the evolutionary configurations mentioned upstream, forming (or partile separating) inner planet aspects include Moon trine Mars; Mercury quindecile Venus, Vigintile the Sun, quintile Mars, and conjunct Neptune; Venus is semisquare the Sun, bielftile Saturn, semisextile Uranus and quintile Pluto; and the Sun is quindecile Saturn and quintile Uranus.

Outer planet forming and partile separating aspects include Mars semisextile Saturn, trine Uranus (Out Of Sign), and binovile Neptune; Jupiter is closing on its conjunction with Saturn and Pluto and sextile Neptune; Saturn is Trielftile Uranus, and as noted Uranus is semisquare Neptune. Obviously the aspects made from Jupiter out are long term influences.

As I mentioned earlier, we have FOUR major configurations built around the opposition of the Lights. That will generate extraordinary productivity, ease of flow, and the generation of unique gifts and circumstances, both internally and interactively! Jupiter and Uranus engage the Lunation and create serendipity in 10 zones: 1-5 Taurus/Scorpio, 7-12 Gemini/Sagittarius, 13-17 Cancer/Capricorn, 19-23 Leo/Aquarius, and 25-29 Virgo/Pisces. If you have planets in these zones, expect the unexpected which will help you find your “pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.”

Also of note are Mercury quintile Mars, Venus quintile Pluto, and the Sun quintile Uranus. This should help us develop unique skills and means to get things done, see the unique qualities at the core of our relationships, and offer us the light of synthesis as we put things together in specialized ways perfect for us.

We have a lot of spiritual and specializing aspects in play this Full Moon! Of the series related to destiny and “fate,” we have 3 septiles and 3 triseptiles! In the 9th and 11th harmonic series related to spiritual realizations, we have 1 binovile and 1 elftile and 1 trelftile. This month we continue to continue to have a strong showing by the specializing aspects, featuring 1 vigintile, 1 quindecile, 1 decile, 3 quintiles, 2 tredeciles, and 1 biquintile.

For those new to the craft, quintiles and biquintiles are 5th harmonic aspects, septiles and triseptiles are 7th harmonic aspects, noviles are 9th harmonic aspects, deciles (semi-quintiles) and tredeciles are 10th harmonic aspects, the elftile series are 11th harmonic aspects, the quindecile is a 15th harmonic aspect, and the vigintile is a 20th harmonic aspect. Each of these has a unique function in the phase relationship of the two planets in aspect.

The 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th harmonic aspects are specializing and bring forth partially or fully developed quintessential elements of the planets involved. The 7th harmonic aspects help us make choices to fulfill our destiny, and the novile series aspects (9th harmonic) represent entry or exit points of periods of gestation which can bring forth possible spiritual developments. The 11th harmonic aspects involve situations where there is a need to transcend and master some form of duality by making a leap of faith.

The various aspects in all these different harmonic series indicate points where the theme of the Whole Cycle becomes clear, whether through major developments or minor refinements in the process. Each aspect shows a phase relationship, specific to the special and unique circumstances of that particular Whole Cycle. It's how we can know when to work, when to play, when to create, when to imagine, when to have faith, and when to mobilize!

Element Balance

This Eclipse continues our extremely imbalanced element distribution. Of the traditional 10 planets, there are 3 planets in Fire signs, 2 in Water, 4 in Earth, and 1 in Air. This continues the predominance of Earth (Practicality and Grounding), but this month we have an increase of Fire (Inspiration and Light). We have a little less Water (Feelings and Experiencing Life on Deep Levels) than Fire (Inspiration and Light) and even less Air (Relatedness and Communications), though it is the Sun, and so is stronger than if another planet were the only Air occupant. With the Sun in Air and the Moon in Fire, those elements are the primary focus of the Lunation.

Air and Earth are “cool” elements, while Fire and Water are “hot” elements. With this distribution, we have a good balance, so enjoy threading the needle using the inspiration of the Fire of Mars in distributive Sagittarius to see a greater vision of your purpose.

The current sequence at present of Deciding, Feeling, and Thinking

We’ve been through several different sequences over the past few months. This begins a new pattern. There are six patterns, and each has their strengths and weaknesses. As a process of moving through events, the most effective “firing sequence” for approaching life and experience over the next 2 weeks involves leading with our decision making ability, then thinking and exchanging information, and then feeling and experiencing the visions and understanding resulting from our actions.

This pattern leads with a decision and/or action, leading to a vision, understanding, or communication. It places feeling at the end of the process. While it may be tempting to short circuit the process and move back into more decisions and actions once we find understanding or the knowledge we need, it is more important to move from thinking and talking into feeling what we’re experiencing as a result of those actions and decisions which brought us to that vision or understanding.

Once we have a new vision or understanding, then we have to bring our feelings to the surface of our consciousness and get clear about what we’re feeling and why. By naming the feeling or experience, it will naturally lead us back to the next set of decisions and actions followed by even newer information, newer vision, newer ideals, and newer understanding. After this next set of developments, then it’s important we again name what we’re feeling. That way nothing will get bottled up through underuse, and we can move through experiences with power and clarity.

So lead with your sense of what must be decided or done, then after those decisions and actions, seek vision, understanding, and pay attention to what’s being communicated. After that, sit with your feelings and experience them, bringing them to the surface of your consciousness and get clear about what you’re feeling and why. Just be careful not to get caught in a loop between doing and thinking while ignoring your feelings!

Saturn: Spiritual Master, Spiritual Friend

Because Saturn is in its home sign of Capricorn, it is the final dispositor of all planets transiting Capricorn and Aquarius from now through 2023. Now that Jupiter is solidly in Capricorn, Saturn takes on a more prominent role for all of 2020 and 2021! Remember that though Saturn can feel heavy, it also symbolizes the power we have to take command of our lives and destiny by using Saturn’s virtues in the right way and time.

Saturn has been preparing us for a “role of destiny” which is unfolding in the weeks between December and March. We’ve been rehearsing new roles for the future as part of the Saturn-Uranus “dance of individualization” in our lives, and now are finding our “pot of gold at the end of the rainbow” as we move toward a “new quality of being which renders the old patterns obsolete” awakened last Summer.

Summing it Up

This Full Moon marks the synthesis of our willingness to accept and use power effectively in some sort of group effort. This period quickens us and with Saturn leading the Sun, it’s time to tune into the world Soul and accept individual responsibility for whatever duties you’ve taken which are leading you to your new life and roles in the world.

See the greater vision while understanding why you had to get organized and disciplined in the past few months. We now have skills and the ability to find tremendous healing through humor as we understand our role as a flag bearer for a cause. While there is some tremendous degree of compression now which will lead to open conflict later this year into early 2021, remember this entire year is one of transition from a 200 year Earth Era toward a 200 year Air Era which launches in December 2020 at the Grand Mutation!

The compression and multiple conjunctions in Capricorn happening between mid-January through late March are bringing tremendous fusions of future cycles and alter both inner and outer space for years to come, so get ready to take responsibility or accept a role or duty somehow related to what appeared in early September. Remember too these Capricorn conjunctions involve many house rulers converging wherever we have late Capricorn in our charts. However, even though there’s a huge focus on Capricorn now through March, when we hit April it’s an entirely new season and the atmosphere will change dramatically when Mars conjuncts Saturn at 1 Aquarius!

We’ve been dealing with echoes and perceptions related to our “escape from a narrow destiny” since 2016, as well as the standards we’ve lived by since 2009. We are still in the final phase of humanity’s “liberating ordeal,” and are finding new inner strengths and powers we’ve tapped the past two years, and have the ability to find assistance from Devas and Angels who bring “divine help when human efforts seem to fail.” Again, learn the power of forgiveness to create space for Grace to enter your Life. When new adventures beckon, embrace them with warmth, since you might find Spiritual Brothers and Sisters from past lives along the way!

The past three years have led us all to blend the old with the new, the traditional with the innovative, throwing us into an adventure in higher awareness where we can demonstrate expertise in fulfilling Dharma, or our purpose for being alive. We are living a new identity, a new love, a new spiritual awareness, and a new spiritual expression in grounded ways, so keep your mind and heart open and keep coordinating your body, feelings, and mind to demonstrate a stable and harmonized Soul energy.

A Meditation on Light and Shadow

Because life seems to be a never-ending experience of out-breathing elements of the past and in-breathing elements of the new, it is useful to remember that when we are moving through major changes, and something new is introduced into our lives, it means that something else must leave, or has already left, to provide space for the new to be embraced. And lesser wisdom must give way to greater wisdom, and old forms give way to newer realities.

While sometimes having to say goodbye to older, lesser ways of life can be a drag, it is important to remember that even though life can occasionally be painful, we do not have to suffer. And as we learn to break the link between pain and suffering, we heal our part of humanity and the world.

We are Light. All things are composed of Light in various frequencies that express as limitless forms. Some light frequencies are of greater density than others.

All shadows result from light hitting a dense object. Psychological shadows too. Therefore, it’s good to become as translucent and translucid as possible to dispel lurking shadows.

If you must look at and/or deal with shadows, whether your own or another’s, then refocus your Light on the object being illuminated, since that form is the source of the shadow.

Find the correct 4 angles of illuminating whatever you want to focus on, and all shadows will be dispelled. Then you’re seeing things with an illuminated mind, and can act accordingly.
