- Aspects, Configurations, and More -

The next two weeks feature three major evolutionary configurations, and another gigantic fork in the road of destiny; two involve the Lunation, and the Sun is triggering the Grand Irrationality, which is part of the larger irrational atmosphere. This one also generates interactive gifts and blessings, and the beginning of new life adventures. We’ve all been getting clear about many things, and the next two weeks should open us to powerful creative forces!

This month is an intense mix of very favorable as well as frictional aspects. Expect gear grinding to bring productivity and understanding of what needs nurture and protection while turning away from childish and self-centered people. We have all kinds of semisquares, sesquisquares, sextiles and trines, so we should all be able to make maximum progress despite the general agitation in the air!

The Eclipse Factor

Last Summer’s Solar Eclipse, as well as the Christmas Solar Eclipse and the more recent Lunar Eclipse, continue to take away everything which would block our ability to accept a “mantle of power” so that our Light can take shape as a new form of Truth, freedom, compassion, and obedience to Dharma. We’re always “under the beams” of recent Eclipses, as well as older ones. These “Cosmic Recyclers” are always helping us eliminate what we no longer need to deal with related to the sign and house they fell in.

Most recently, we’ve been shutting something down we no longer need in life areas symbolized by Cancer and Capricorn. The Nodes are the keys to understand how we’re accepting and growing, and what we’re demonstrating or letting go of. The Total Solar Eclipse of July 2019 at 11 Cancer has already begun to strip away all which would inhibit our sense of humor or irony. It’s also exposing others’ “ego pomposity” and resumptions, giving them a chance to take a breath and not take themselves so seriously.

Along with the Christmas 2019 Solar Eclipse at 5 Capricorn, we’re also still experiencing past Solar Eclipse “cosmic recycling” wherever we have 16 Capricorn, 21 Cancer and 19 Leo, due to Eclipses on these degrees. The endings of 2018 and 2019 helped us get organized, exploring what success really means to us, and letting go of old “social rigidities” to be happier.

All these Solar Eclipses, along with others, have allowed us to “shed skins” wherever we have 9, 19, and 30 Pisces, 28 Aquarius, along with 29 Leo, 10 Virgo, and 21 Virgo. As you can see, that involves a large part of our charts! I gave you all the Solar Eclipse links in the first article on the Christmas Solar Eclipse, specifying which are done and which are still in play.

A good meditation would be to take a look back at how something related to that axis in your chart has left and been replaced with something new. All our losses associated with these signs have left voids which will attract life contents more appropriate to who we are now. Alternately, you may be feeling a void because someone else really isn’t there. Now it’s time to turn to what will nourish you.

Evolutionary Configurations

As noted earlier, we have a LOT of aspect action this month, with several important “evolutionary configurations” in action! The primary configurations involve 1) The opposition of the Lights being cut into sesquisquares and semisquares by Venus and Uranus, which is directly related to: 2) The opposition of the Lights being cut into sextiles and trines by Jupiter and Pluto; 3) Venus and Uranus tredecile Mars and biseptile Jupiter; and 4) the Sun conjunct Neptune with both septile Neptune, putting The Grand Irrationality back in play.

The first two involve both friction and harmony, generating a “cutting, grinding, and polishing” energy involving 3-7 of the Fixed signs and 18-22 of the Mutable signs, expressing the productive understanding and stable expression of the areas between 18-25 degrees of the Earth and Water signs. This will be tremendously favorable for getting priorities straight and getting things done, with a focus on cooperative building, the power of symbols, the need to take a long view, being willing to take a chance on something new, and the willingness to go deep to see subconscious or unconscious factors at work.

Venus and Uranus are in the thick of it this month! Besides being the grindstone for the Full Moon, we also see Mars conjunct Jupiter, with Venus/Uranus tredecile Mars, promising unique interactive blessings for those with planets or points near 1 Aries/Libra, 3-7 Taurus/Scorpio, 9-13 Gemini/Sagittarius, 15-19 Cancer/Capricorn, and 25-29 Leo/Aquarius. This serendipity will affect the Venus/Uranus biseptile Jupiter, especially when Mars biseptiles Uranus in the near future, setting a second Grand Irrationality pulse into motion, with Uranus the invisible transformer along with the current Neptune triggered Grand Irrationality pulse currently active.

The Grand Irrationality was extensively covered in the first article in this series. So yet again, irrationality is in the air for all of humanity, and we’ve hit a crucial fork in the road of our collective destiny! The septile between Saturn and the Sun conjunct Neptune is particularly powerful. For many, the rewards and power which come from self-discipline; for others, obsession over what is ending forever and the ruthless power of humanity and/or nature to make life harder than it needs to be.

Because the Grand Irrationality is being triggered by Venus, the Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn, it will affect many parts of our chart. So again we’re in a period where a lot which won’t make much sense, and people will be more prone to acting in irrational ways. This evolutionary configuration is now bringing everyone to decisions which will develop during this time of the Great Compression, setting up the Mars conjunct Saturn at 1 Aquarius, priming the pump for a new 200 year Era to come at the end of 2020!

The Rhombus

Another powerful evolutionary configuration is happening right now involving Uranus and Neptune in a long term semisquare. When Uranus went retrograde at 7 Taurus in the Summer of 2019, it began to semisquare Neptune which anchors the off-again, on-again friction Rhombus Diamond configuration. It is activated each time any planet or the Moon moves through 17-22 Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces, as well as 2-7 Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius. In this chart it is activated by Venus conjunct Uranus being semisquared by Sun conjunct Neptune and sesquisquared by the Moon, as it is each time any planet moves through the early degrees of the Fixed signs and the middle degrees of the Mutable signs.

If you have a planet in any of these 8 zones, then as various planets move through any of the other zones, it generates a lot of friction, “cutting, grinding, and polishing us to perfection.” An exact Rhombus Diamond configuration is made every time there is a planet is in mid-Virgo opposing Neptune at the same time another planet in Scorpio opposed Uranus, with double semisquares and sesquisquares created between those planets. Right now with three legs active, it’s perfected every time the Ascendant or Midheaven crosses the early degrees of Scorpio.

Major Aspects

Besides the various aspects I gave you related to the evolutionary configurations mentioned upstream, forming (or partile separating) inner planet aspects include Moon quadranovile Mercury and opposed Neptune; Mercury bielftile Venus, novile Mars, novile Jupiter, semisextile Saturn, and bielftile Uranus; Venus makes all the above aspects; and the Sun is bielftile Mars.

Outer planet forming and partile separating aspects include Mars conjunct Saturn, sextile Neptune and conjunct Pluto; Jupiter is closing on its conjunction with Saturn and Pluto; Saturn is septile Neptune, and as noted Uranus is semisquare Neptune. Obviously the aspects made from Jupiter out are long term influences.

With so many planets triggering the Grand Irrationality involving both Uranus and Neptune, it widens the zones of influence of that configuration. That broadens the influence to 21-30 Capricorn, 13-22 Pisces, 4-13 Taurus, 25 Gemini – 4 Cancer, 17-26 Leo, 8-17 Libra, and 29 Scorpio- 8 Sagittarius. If you have anything in any of these zones, expect to have a lot of important choices and changes on your plate the next 2 weeks!

We have a lot of spiritual and specializing aspects in play this Full Moon! Of the series related to destiny and “fate,” we have 2 septiles and 2 biseptiles. In the 9th and 11th harmonic series related to spiritual realizations, we have 2 noviles and 2 quadranoviles, as well as 3 trielftiles. This month we have only two of the specializing aspects, featuring 2 tredeciles.

For those new to the craft, quintiles and biquintiles are 5th harmonic aspects, septiles and triseptiles are 7th harmonic aspects, noviles are 9th harmonic aspects, deciles (semi-quintiles) and tredeciles are 10th harmonic aspects, the elftile series are 11th harmonic aspects, the quindecile is a 15th harmonic aspect, and the vigintile is a 20th harmonic aspect. Each of these has a unique function in the phase relationship of the two planets in aspect.

The 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th harmonic aspects are specializing and bring forth partially or fully developed quintessential elements of the planets involved. The 7th harmonic aspects help us make choices to fulfill our destiny, and the novile series aspects (9th harmonic) represent entry or exit points of periods of gestation which can bring forth possible spiritual developments. The 11th harmonic aspects involve situations where there is a need to transcend and master some form of duality by making a leap of faith.

The various aspects in all these different harmonic series indicate points where the theme of the Whole Cycle becomes clear, whether through major developments or minor refinements in the process. Each aspect shows a phase relationship, specific to the special and unique circumstances of that particular Whole Cycle. It's how we can know when to work, when to play, when to create, when to imagine, when to have faith, and when to mobilize!

Element Balance

This Eclipse continues our extremely imbalanced element distribution. Of the traditional 10 planets, there are 0 planets in Fire signs, 2 in Water, SEVEN in Earth, and 1 in Air. This continues the predominance of Earth (Practicality and Grounding), but this month we have no Fire (Inspiration and Light). We have very little Water (Feelings and Experiencing Life on Deep Levels) and even less Air (Relatedness and Communications), though it is Mercury in its sign of exaltation going stationary direct, so is stronger than if another planet were the only Air occupant. With the Sun in Water and the Moon in Earth, those elements are the primary focus of the Lunation.

Air and Earth are “cool” elements, while Fire and Water are “hot” elements. With this distribution, we have a very cool time ahead, with no real Fire until the Sun enters Aries. Enjoy the practical focus, and see how to be organized and disciplined as you graduate into a new realm of Being!

The current sequence at present of Deciding, Feeling, and Thinking

We’ve been through several different sequences over the past few months. There are six patterns, and each has their strengths and weaknesses. This Lunation brings us a new pattern. As a process of moving through events, the most effective “firing sequence” for approaching life and experience over the next 4 weeks involves leading with our thinking, then deciding, and then feeling.

This pattern leads with their understanding, vision, or analytical perceptions, and then makes decisions and acts based in those perceptions. While it is tempting to move back into more thinking, analyzing, and envisioning after we act, instead of going back to the mind to confirm our action, we must get to our feeling-experience around what we just decided or did. When we go deep enough and understand what we are experiencing, then new information, new understanding, and/or a new vision will naturally arise that points the way to the next action.

When you are moved by an idea, vision, perception, or understanding, it will naturally lead to decisions on the basis of those ideas. This should be followed by a time of solitude and reflection where we can identify what we’re feeling and experiencing. Once we identify what we’re experiencing, we’ll naturally be moved to search for newer information, newer ideas, newer interpretations, and newer views. So let your thinking and communicating and envisioning lead you to “right action,” and feel what you must to come to a newer view.

Saturn: Spiritual Master, Spiritual Friend

Because Saturn is in its home sign of Capricorn, it is the final dispositor of all planets transiting Capricorn and Aquarius from now through 2023. Now that Jupiter is solidly in Capricorn, Saturn takes on a more prominent role for all of 2020 and 2021! Remember that though Saturn can feel heavy, it also symbolizes the power we have to take command of our lives and destiny by using Saturn’s virtues in the right way and time.

Saturn has been preparing us for a “role of destiny” which has been unfolding between December and now. We’ve been rehearsing new roles for the future as part of the Saturn-Uranus “dance of individualization” in our lives, and now are moving toward a “new quality of being which renders the old patterns obsolete” awakened last Summer.

Summing it Up

This Full Moon marks the end of many things, helping us get clear at the end of several long cycles about who we are and how we want to be creative in the future. We now get to “see the Light” of having “taken a walk with our wisdom” this past year, and we’re all on the threshold of potentially much higher states of awareness. Some will find a type of “ecstatic consciousness,” with the potential for seeing “the white dove flying over the waters,” letting us know a new life and new day has dawned. There are rewards to be captured for our courage in facing whatever ordeals we’ve recently been through, with the long term payoff the ability to see anything from several angles, helping dispel “intellectual shadows.” This directly relates to our meditation below.

Now that we’ve all had a chance to get organized and disciplined in the past few months, we now are able to begin our group function. While there is some tremendous degree of compression now which will lead to open conflict later this year into early 2021, remember this entire year is one of transition from a 200 year Earth Era toward a 200 year Air Era which launches in December 2020 at the Grand Mutation!

The compression and multiple conjunctions in Capricorn happening between mid-January through late March are bringing tremendous fusions of future cycles and alter both inner and outer space for years to come, so be open to taking responsibility, or accepting a role or duty somehow related to what appeared in early September. Remember too these Capricorn conjunctions involve many house rulers converging wherever we have late Capricorn in our charts. However, even though there’s a huge focus on Capricorn now through March, when we hit April it’s an entirely new season and the atmosphere will change dramatically when Mars conjuncts Saturn at 1 Aquarius!

We’ve been dealing with echoes and perceptions related to our “escape from a narrow destiny” since 2016, as well as the standards we’ve lived by since 2009. We are still in the final phase of humanity’s “liberating ordeal,” and are finding new inner strengths and powers we’ve tapped the past two years, and have the ability to find assistance from Devas and Angels who bring “divine help when human efforts seem to fail.” Again, learn the power of forgiveness to create space for Grace to enter your Life. When new adventures beckon, embrace them with warmth, since you might find Spiritual Brothers and Sisters from past lives along the way!

Having blended the old with the new, the traditional with the innovative, we now can live an adventure in higher awareness where we can demonstrate expertise in fulfilling Dharma, or our purpose for being alive. We are living a new identity, a new love, a new spiritual awareness, and a new spiritual expression in grounded ways, so keep your mind and heart open and keep coordinating your body, feelings, and mind to demonstrate a stable and harmonized Soul energy.

A Meditation on Light and Shadow

Because life seems to be a never-ending experience of out-breathing elements of the past and in-breathing elements of the new, it is useful to remember that when we are moving through major changes, and something new is introduced into our lives, it means that something else must leave, or has already left, to provide space for the new to be embraced. And lesser wisdom must give way to greater wisdom, and old forms give way to newer realities.

While sometimes having to say goodbye to older, lesser ways of life can be a drag, it is important to remember that even though life can occasionally be painful, we do not have to suffer. And as we learn to break the link between pain and suffering, we heal our part of humanity and the world.

We are Light. All things are composed of Light in various frequencies that express as limitless forms. Some light frequencies are of greater density than others.

All shadows result from light hitting a dense object. Psychological shadows too. Therefore, it’s good to become as translucent and translucid as possible to dispel lurking shadows.

If you must look at and/or deal with shadows, whether your own or another’s, then refocus your Light on the object being illuminated, since that form is the source of the shadow.

Find the correct 4 angles of illuminating whatever you want to focus on, and all shadows will be dispelled. Then you’re seeing things with an illuminated mind, and can act accordingly.
