Snowy Owl and Shooting Star had been to visit the Shaman to ask him if there was anything unusual about the coming Full Moon. They both felt it had special significance but could not connect to why it might. The Shaman told them all New and Full Moon’s had special significance for they activated lessons that Grandfather Sun, Sister Moon, The Wanderers, and The Starry Ones wanted the two leggeds to focus on for a particular cycle. He told them there would be a surprise waiting for them at the Star Temple. Although the actual Full Moon was at mid-day tomorrow he advised them to visit the Star Temple this night so they could see, feel, and hear Sister Moon and her message. 

When they reached the Standing One who guarded the Star Temple and their flying capes Little Owl was perched on a lower branch. He was Snowy Owl’s spirit walker guide and whenever he appeared the sisters knew they were about to go on a journey. The Winged One with the heart shaped face said “Sister Moon has asked me to lead you out into the Universal Night so you can hear the music of the spheres, see the colours of the Wanderers, and feel their energy vibrations at this Full Moon planetary dance. Go now and put on your magic flying capes and follow me.” The young women retrieved their capes and followed Little Owl into the indigo night sky.

He led them to the edge of the Universe, the great still point. Then suddenly the sound of a grand symphony filled the silence. It was the sound waves of each Wanderer joining together to create beautiful harmonies. As the sisters looked back they saw the planets shimmering their colours in the dark sky and felt the energy vibration each one was emitting at this planetary dance.

Sister Moon spoke “This Full Moon is about integrating the different systems of perception the two leggeds work with. When you can hear, see, and feel, at the same time, you are able to expand your consciousness so you can experience the true Oneness. At this planetary dance there is much harmony and ease and flow between the Wanderers except for one. He is the planet of illusion or illumination. If you are caught in self-deception then at this Full Moon he will show you how that is keeping you stuck in the past and how that disempowers you. If you chose to embrace illumination he will lead you into the Mystical so you will experience yourself as Spiritual Beings whose true home is the Holographic Universe. Then you will find the Oneness you are seeking within. Separation from Source is the greatest illusion. Go now and celebrate the Full Moon and be in harmony with All That Is for you are That.”

As Little Owl led the sisters back to the Star Temple they felt gratitude for all they had experienced. They felt their consciousness expanding and it was amazing. 

The focus of this Full Moon is how we perceive life and our style of communication. There are three main systems of perception. Auditory (thinking) Visual (seeing) and Kinesthetic (feeling). Air signs (Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius) are predominantly Auditory with a secondary Visual influence. Fire signs (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius) are Visual with a secondary Auditory influence. Earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn) and Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces) are predominantly Kinesthetic sometimes with a secondary auditory or visual influence. What we want to ultimately do is integrate these ways of perceiving so our thoughts and style of communication is guided by intuition (feeling) and inspiration (seeing) and expression (thinking). That is the opportunity being given to us at this Sagittarius Full Moon.

There is a fourth system which NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) calls digital. It is expressing perceptions in a rote way. The dictionary defines rote as “a memorizing process using routine or repetition without full comprehension”. In other words without thought, inspiration, or feeling. We all from time to time fall into the digital system. But when we are connected to our Spiritual Consciousness and our Soul’s Guidance we can always be thoughtfully inspired and fully present. That is what this Full Moon is offering us. 

The Wanderers our story referred to is the name the Ancients gave to the planets because they moved across the night sky. At this Full Moon we do have many aspects of ease and opportunity (sextiles) and ease and flow (trines). The traditional planetary ruler for the Moon in Sagittarius is Jupiter currently at 16 degrees Leo. He is part of a Grand Fire Trine with the Moon at 11 degrees Sagittarius and Uranus at 19 degrees Aries. The focus is on expanding our Spiritual Vision (Moon and Jupiter) and breaking through to the new (Uranus). Jupiter is also sextile (opportunity) the Sun at 11 degrees Gemini (expressing our spiritual vision) and Mars at 15 degrees Gemini (taking action). The Soul Centered ruler for Sagittarius is the Earth. She too is at 11 degrees Sagittarius travelling with the Moon and supporting us to walk our true path with inspiration.

The traditional ruler for the Sun in Gemini is Mercury currently at 07 degrees retrograde in Gemini. Mercury (our thoughts and perceptions) is also forming a Grand Trine this time in air signs. He is trine (ease and flow) the North Node at 07 degrees Libra (new relationship harmony) and the asteroid Ceres at 09 degrees Aquarius (giving our spiritual gifts to the world). But since Mercury is Retrograde the theme is “change your thoughts and REDO”. So even though a trine aspect is easy Mercury reminds us we cannot do things the old way. The Soul Centered ruler for Gemini is Venus currently at 27 degrees Cancer (mastery of the emotions). She is trine (ease and flow) the Asteroid Vesta at 28 degrees Pisces (commitment to the spiritual path). This is where we are being given the opportunity to listen to our “felt sense” and inner knowing.

So what is the challenge our story talked about? It is Neptune the Dissolver. He is the planet of illusion or illumination. He is currently at 09 degrees Pisces in a T SQUARE with Mercury, Sun, and Mars in Gemini and the Earth and Moon in Sagittarius. The T SQUARE can make us feel backed into a corner. The question is are you living your truth or caught in illusion. The breakthrough point is Virgo the Rainbow Bridge of Healing into Wholeness. You cannot hear or see the Bridge but you can feel it.  And it is there. The mid-point between the Sun in Gemini (a search for knowledge) and the Moon in Sagittarius (a search for spiritual meaning) is 11 degrees of Virgo (mind, body, spirit healing and integration). Great Mystery always gives us what we need.

The Animal Totems for the Moon in Sagittarius are Elk, the strength of community and tribe, and Owl, the wisdom to know the truth. For the Sun in Gemini our guide is Deer, sensitivity, compassion, and love. If you are caught in the challenging T Square between Neptune and the Sun/Moon call on these Totems to show you the way out. The Animal Totems for Neptune in Pisces are Cougar, spiritual power, and Wolf, the teacher who guides us through change so we become spiritual teachers.

The Clan Mother guiding us for the Moon in Sagittarius is Gives Praise. She is the guardian of gratitude and giving thanks for the truth. She teaches us how to give and receive so we are in the flow of abundance. She teaches us to celebrate the dance of our life. The Clan Mother for the Gemini Sun is Storyteller. She is the guardian of the magical child and speaking our truth from a sacred point of view. She also teaches how to listen to what others are really saying. This Full Moon in Sagittarius is found on the Tarot Constellation of The Hierophant, the Wisdom Keeper. It is the principle of teaching what you have learned. Sagittarius is considered to be the teacher of the zodiac and learns by experience and hands on involvement. It is the 14^th card in the Tarot and suggests new spiritual beginnings after the Transformation of card 13 has occurred. The other energy of this Tarot Constellation is Taurus, the principle of balancing the physical world with a spiritual consciousness. It is the 5^th card in the Tarot and is the number of dancing to the tune of a different drummer. Taurus asks us to find empowerment and spiritual balance in a sometimes crazy world.

The Gemini Sun at this Lunation is active on the Tarot Constellation of The Lovers, relationship and choice. The theme is the urge to unite, the choice to love, ourselves in relation to each other. The other sign of this Constellation is Capricorn and its expresses the shadow of the urge to separate, the choice to fear, ourselves in relation to the world. Pluto currently in Capricorn will show us what we fear but also show us the Path of Transformation.

The Rays for the Moon in Sagittarius are the 4^th Ray of Harmony Through Conflict with Archangels Gabriel, transformation and resurrection, and Hope, faith and trust, as our guides. It is the Ray of the human kingdom. The next is the 5^thRay of Concrete Knowledge and Healing, with Raphael, the shinning one who heals, and Mary, Divine Unconditional Love, guiding us. That is the ray of current humanity. The final Ray Sagittarius is active on is perhaps the most difficult. It is the 6^th of Idealism and Devotion. We can all see how conflict and dogma are continuing to be expressed in the world of the two-leggeds. Even the Rays have a shadow side. The Archangels of 6^thRay are Uriel, peace and love, and Aurora Grace, gratitude and balance. You decide which Ray you want to guide you. I chose harmony, healing, and love.

Gemini is only found on the Second Ray of Divine Love and Wisdom. The Sun at this Full Moon asks us to focus on Loving kindness and communicate with compassionate caring for all. The Archangel who guides us is Jophiel, creative power and vision. When you call on him he will assemble a legion of angels to help you manifest your greatest vision. Jophiel’s feminine counterpart is Constance Christine, spiritual illumination. Call on all these Archangels of the Sagittarius Moon and Gemini Sun to support you as walk the truth of who you really are.
