As Snowy Owl and Shooting Star climbed the path to the Star Temple it was well after Grandfather Sun had set. But Sister Moon was rising in the east and was a glowing luminous golden orb. Her moonlight beams lit the path so the sisters could clearly see their way. This night Luna was closer to Earth than usual and it felt like you could reach out and touch her. It was such a deeply profound and sacred experience that Snowy Owl and Shooting Star felt their hearts open widely. They were grateful for this gift from Sister Moon.

When the sisters entered the Star Temple the Starwalkers were waiting for them. Arista and Dauphin had told them at the last New Moon ceremony they had an important message to share for this Full Moon. Arista reminded the young women this Moon cycle was about all two leggeds crossing the Rainbow Bridge of Healing into Wholeness. But she also said that many of them were still stuck in the old ways of wanting power and could not even see that there was a Bridge to cross.

Then Dauphin spoke and shared his message for this Full Moon. “Cougar, coming into your spiritual power, and Wolf, the changer and spiritual teacher, are guides who are walking with Sister Moon. Brown Bear, the healer, walks with Grandfather Sun. But there are two other Sacred Spirit Walkers who join them, the Dolphin and Whale Tribes. Dolphin reminds us all life is sacred and to be grateful for the gift of breath. Dolphin asks you to breathe life into whatever you wish to create and do it with love. The Whale Tribe reminds us that each human being has its own unique song to sing and it is time to remember your song and live it. All of these Spirit Guides are supporting you to live your Spiritual Vision and share the message of love for all.”

Sister Moon spoke next “This Full Moon is an ending. It is a Moon Time of healing and completion. The next four Moon Cycles will be about great change but also new beginnings. Snowy Owl and Shooting Star I ask you to share this message with the two leggeds so all may cross the Rainbow Bridge of Healing into Wholeness. The time is now.”

This is the last Super Moon of 2014. But as our story told us this is a completion Moon for other reasons. We are heading into a new direction with opportunities for great change and we are being asked to become empowered through Love. Not just personal love but Universal Love and honouring the Sacredness of all life. Pisces is the sign of healing, forgiveness, completion and release. That is the gift of this Full Moon so we will be ready for the new path that is opening in the coming months. We do not want to take the old into the new and so the time for releasing the old is now at this Full Moon. We are heading into new intensity but also exciting possibilities.

Pisces is the Mutable Water sign and is linked to the ocean. Hence the association with Dolphin and Whale being its Sacred Animals. In his book “Alan Oken’s Complete Astrology” the author describes how Pisces is connected to Dolphins and Whales and it has made perfect sense to me so our story included the association. The ruler for this Pisces Moon (16 degrees 19 minutes) is Neptune currently at 05 degrees Pisces. Neptune asks us to identify what is true, what is not true, and what can never be true. The Soul Centered ruler for Pisces is Pluto currently at 11 degrees Capricorn. Pluto supports us to shed the old that no longer serves us. These two outer planets are linked by a sextile aspect of ease and opportunity supporting us to heal, forgive, complete and release. The Sun in Virgo is ruled by Mercury at 09 degrees Libra. Mercury in Libra is about focusing our thoughts on fairness and peace. Something the world is lacking big time right now. The planet of the mind is approaching a square to Pluto (exact Sept 09 at 6.40pm EDT) and asking us to transform thoughts of fear into Loving Kindness.

The Sun in Virgo is the Rainbow Bridge of Healing. Virgo’s spiritual ruler is Chiron, the wounded healer. The Soul Centered ruler for Virgo is the Moon. Chiron is at 15 degrees Pisces travelling with the Moon at 16 degrees Pisces giving us all the opportunity to cross the Rainbow Bridge of healing into wholeness at this Full Moon. Chiron and the Moon form a Grand Trine (ease and harmony) with the Asteroid Juno at 16 degrees Cancer (relationship harmony) and Asteroid Vesta at 16 degrees Scorpio (inner transformation) and Saturn at 18 degrees Scorpio (a transformed society). Great Mystery may challenge us to change but always gives us the support to do so.

This is the Harvest Moon. In the Northern Hemisphere she is closest to Fall Equinox (this year on Sept 22 at 10.29pm EDT) and creates an optical illusion as she rises appearing very large on the horizon. As we prepare to enter the West Direction on the Medicine Wheel, the Looking Within Place, adulthood, personal responsibility, and empowerment, Sister Moon guides us to healing into wholeness. The Totems for the West are Grizzly Bear, strength, Black Horse, movement and freedom, and The Thunderbeings, empowerment.  In the Southern Hemisphere this Pisces Full Moon is the Big Winds Time. On Sept 22/23 is your Spring Equinox, the East Direction on the Medicine Wheel. This is the place of spiritual awakening and inspired new beginnings with Eagle as your guide. This Winged One carries your prayers to Creator and Great Mystery so you can receive support for your transformed new directions Both Equinox activations are to create balance in our lives.

As our story told us Brown Bear, introspection and healing, guides us for the Sun in Virgo. Cougar, coming into your personal spiritual power, and Wolf, the teacher about the power of change, are the Animal Totems for the Moon in Pisces. Dolphins, along with Whales, are Sacred Animals for Pisces. All are working together to support your journey of healing, forgiveness, and completion. Now is the time to release whatever blocks you from your spirit and a sense of wholeness. 

The Clan Mother for Virgo is Setting Sun Woman, the keeper of tomorrow’s dreams and vision. She is also the Guardian of going within to find your Inner Universe and personal truth. Her teaching is how to live that truth. The Clan Mother who guides us for the Moon in Pisces is Weights The Truth. She is the Guardian of right action, justice, equality, and Divine Law. She teaches us to accept the truth even when we do not want to see what is true. Weighs The Truth is the carrier of the Burden Basket. Put your own worries in the Basket and you will feel a lightness of being as Creator and Great Mystery bless your journey. I believe the Pisces/Virgo Full Moon is the most spiritual of all Full Moons. Raven Kaldera in “Moon Phase Astrology” calls this the Healers Moon. This pairing of astrological signs is found on the Tarot Constellation of the Hermit, the principle of Introspection and Personal Integrity. Virgo is journeying within to heal our spirits and Pisces is journeying to Source to find our Divine Light and to shine it out into the world. Only when we heal old wounds is that possible. As we said earlier the theme for this Lunation is healing, forgiveness (ourselves and others), releasing old wounds, and completion, which leads to transformed new directions.

Virgo and Pisces are active on the 6^th Ray of Idealism and Devotion. The Archangels of the 6^th Ray are Uriel, peace, harmony and love, and Aurora Grace, divine blessings. They are also 2^nd Ray signs. This is the Ray of Divine Love and Wisdom. As we said before I see Virgo as the Rainbow Bridge of healing showing us the path to illumination and enlightenment that Pisces offers. The Archangels who guide us are Jophiel, creative power and vision, and Constance Christine, inner perception and divine illumination. Let us all focus on what we are wanting to complete and release at this  Full Moon so Divine Blessings are received from Creator and Great Mystery.
