It is just hours till the upcoming total Solar Eclipse at 12° Sagittarius will peak at 07:33:26 UTC on Saturday, December 4^th. The total solar eclipse will only be visible in West Antarctica, and partly visible in southern Africa. Although the solar eclipse may not be visible to most, it will have a big impact, pointing you in a new direction.

This is the final eclipse on the Sagittarius-Gemini axis till 2029. This eclipse series started in May 2020 during the pandemic. Saturday’s eclipse in Sagittarius on the south node of karmic lessons, is also a point of ‘Dissolution’. Many ‘old guard’ timelines are decomposing, being replaced with ascending timelines. The pandemic highlighted the imbalances between work and rest, between health and illness, between ego and community. Let us acknowledge and release any emotional grief and heartbreak from the pandemic, so we may fill our hearts with hope and joy again.

The Solar Eclipse aspects the predominant 2021 astrology, the Saturn-Uranus square, which climaxes on December 24^th. Forming a ‘large learning triangle’ between the new moon, Saturn and Uranus, the spiritual meaning of the eclipse reminds us to be open-minded and flexible during unexpected changes in 2022. Eclipses are known to shake up the status quo!

If the eclipse triggers life challenges or an existential crisis, the alignment provides access to quantum solutions and resolution. Sagittarius is the sign of freedom, wisdom and spontaneity.
