Gloria:

Dear Father, I open up my heart to You and ask You for Your Will for me today.

God:

My Will is that you proceed with HEAVEN. That is your priority. You don't need to make it your priority because it already is. After your little social whirl this week, start sending out again. Get a whole volume together, maybe three months' worth, and send out to agents and/or publishers. Advise yourself about this as you would advise your job search clients. Get the energy out. Circulate.

Otherwise, keep on as you are, My loving loyal pen and child, child of My heart, child of My Will, child of My way.

Consider yourself a singer. You sing as you work. You hum as you go about your business. You burst into song along the street. The time comes when your songs must be heard. You must find the listeners. You must see their faces and hear their gasps of joy. You cannot always sing alone.

You have your voice teacher. It is your voice and his training.

In Our case, it is My voice and My training, and it is you who has to send out notices about your recital. That is all you have to do, dear Gloria. You already show up for every appointment with Me. You are an avid learner. Now your Teacher tells you to get your handwriting out to the world.

The world is thirsty for song. The world is thirsty for Me. And the world is thirsty for you, Gloria.

That may seem strange for you to be thirsted for, but an innocent distribution of My wares is thirsted for. You have not made yourself a teacher. You have remained a singer, a singer who sings My words and hands them out like leaflets that distracted hands take, and thus lives are changed because you distributed leaflets.

Consider a volume of HEAVEN as a leaflet. Consider the publishers as the hands. Even editors are thirsty for firsthand knowing of their Source, and they will be secondary handers-out of the leaf lets of My heart, then distributors and booksellers next, and also readers will hand out to their friends, and again and again.

Meanwhile, you will sit and write as before, and you will be called on to read aloud My words, tell about your discovery of Me, and a little about your life, and answer a few questions. Now, who more than you likes to read aloud?

Gloria:

No one!

God:

Do you see how all your earthly desires are fulfilled as My Will is fulfilled? You have always desired to be a writer. You have always loved to read aloud. You have always wanted to be heard, recognized. You want financial security, and most of all, you want people to discover Me and hear Me and recognize Me, and you are helper along the way, for what do I want more than that My children discover Me, hear Me, and recognize Me. And they will recognize Me in you, Gloria, because you are so simple and unassuming. You are the meek inheriting the earth.

You do see how I have put no burdens on you. You are to do exactly what you desire. What you love to do, I ask you to do.

Gloria:

Which came first, God?

God:

My Will.

Gloria:

That's fine with me! Let me get Bran's dinner done, and the two other friends' visits, and I will joyously go forward with all areas of HEAVEN, Love Letters from You.

God:

So be it.

Gloria to God:

Dear Father, I was stunned when a friend of mine, a fine high-character angel of a person, talked about winners and losers. I know all are winners. All grow, evolve. All are pure spirit in a human form.

Labels like that hurt my heart, God. I'm sure there were people in my family who saw me as a loser.

God:

You are right to stay away from labels.

Gloria:

The literary agent I sent HEA VEN to wrote me a personal letter. She saw HEAVEN as intriguing and thought-provoking, but thought it would be a hard sell because it's free-flowing rather than organized or numbered advice. I sure see things differently, don't I?

God:

You do. And so do I. But you know that HEAVEN will be published, Gloria, and it will be popular, and it will do much good. Keep your attention on what We want. Don't be dismayed.
