3/20 ~ SPRING Equinox:
Spring Equinox brings the Renewal of Life & Light, Rebirth & Resurrection. Vital energies & resources are now more readily available. It’s time to plant seeds and initiate projects that will show promise by Fall Equinox. It is our first access to balance within & without. We are supported to discover & feel for ourselves, this renewal of Spring. We are coming from a predominantly Internal/Dark/Shadow/Fallow time and returning to an External/Light/Fertile time.

Spring & Fall represent Balance & Increase, equal Light & Darkness, equal Day & Night. Sunrise & Sunset are always the best time to meditate as the veils between realms are thinner making communing easier and more productive. Consider the Solstices to be Initiation/Integration times and Equinoxes to be times of Change, Movement, Choices & Decisions. Spring Initiates New Life ~ Fall Assesses the Quality of that New Life and marks its on-going progress … what takes root (works & evolves), what needs more time (incubation & more care) and/or should be released altogether to begin anew (compost & re-direction of energy).

3/21 ~ Mercury (acumen) ~sextile~ Uranus (the Awakener):
This energy says, it’s time to go with the flow – “new and different” being the flow. It wants to shake it up a bit – in a good way. However, if you feel like new and different is more like chaos and disruption, then you need to reflect and see if you aren’t being too rigid. Unwillingness to go with the (new) flow will make this energy harder to handle. This is also a good time to try to resolve any old issues or challenges – they are not going away without resolution and conscious release. Perhaps you’ve been trying the same thing over and over and it’s time to try something NEW – now is the time new ideas can/will come to you. Pay attention! Try to be open and receptive to unusual things, events or ideas and allow room for spontaneity and improvisation – situations that make you have to think on your feet and work with the resources on hand. You may think you are doing one thing and look up to find that you’re actually doing something completely different – be open to exploring the new path!

3/21 ~ Mars (energy & drive) ~trine~ Saturn (stamina & patience):
This is a delicious & potent combo! This is like a great Father/Son working on a project together. The Son has all the muscle, energy & enthusiasm and the Father is the brilliant, steady man who directs that energy and teaches in every moment. Internally, this is your Inner Authority guiding your innate desire nature to the tangible results it so craves. Saturn brings the long-term goals to the table and Mars’ energy can fuel your efforts creating amazing results. This energy enables you to focus longer, attend to the details, overcome obstacles, and get more tangible results of your actions. Normally, these two get together is more the ‘tortoise and the hare’ energy, which can be frustrating for some. However, they are in an easy-angle and if there is any major project which needs your attention, now is the time you will likely be in the mood to tackle it and be completely supported.

3/21 ~ Venus Enters ARIES (until April 14th):
Consider this an introduction to your newly Initiated Self! Venus has just made a full journey through the Signs, activating your inner Sacred Feminine. It took her a little longer than usual because she lingered in Gemini in 2020, as she does every 8-years. The other magical thing about Venus in Aries right now is that she is doing her Underworld journey with the Sun before she returns as the Evening Star. We are initiating the Reclamation side of her current cycle and it kicks off this week (3/26) when she and the Sun get together officially. So the last time she was in Aries was Feb 2020 – how have you grown & evolved? How have your values & priorities shifted regarding your personal independence, individual power, deepest passion & true purpose? What is complete and what is initiating where your relationships, finances & magnetics are concerned? What is all that ‘worth’ to you (reflect on both then & now)? What is the difference in how you expressed your Self pre-2020, and how you want to express in new ways NOW post-2020? What have you learned about your Self? What have you learned about your immediate friends, family & community, and your place (and preferences) within each connection? Are your relationships a vibrational match? Do they embody conscious equal partnership and the reciprocity that feels delicious, sincere, joyful & balanced?

It’s also a good time to look at the Houses & Planets with Aries energy activated to know what specifics are coming up for you personally. Venus is all about your innate magnetics ~ what you naturally magnetize & repel ~ and Aries is all about being brave, walking by faith and getting things started. When we have a deep passion and true purpose, we lead by example and that is the energy within you being renewed at this time. As you are able to anchor this renewed sense of Self, Identity & Purpose, that you’ve developed over the last year or so, there will be new opportunities for new relationships & collaborations … but you may have to lead! Remember, when you know who you are and what you want, and you are willing to be individually responsible, you inspire others to carry their own weight and be responsible for their own energy/vibration. “It’s always you!” is an old adage of mine that means, whatever we are magnetizing into our lives is but a reflection of what is within. You take your power back by being responsible for what is within & around you and that automatically shifts your outer world in brilliant, beautiful & completely unexpected ways. More than ever, we have to operate from Heart-Center, you have to actually care to get engaged and so often, you must clear away all that you do not care about, so that what you do care about has more room to grow, evolve & expand. This Venus work is going to be very personal for those with Aries/Libra and Cancer/Capricorn activated in their charts.

3/23 ~ Mercury (ideas, thoughts & concepts) ~square~ Mars (desire & actions): (3 of 3: 1/8 ~ 2/10 ~ 3/23)
This activation can be a tough one for some. If your beliefs are out of alignment with your actions, if you are not self-aware or you tend to act-out unconsciously, being selfish or childish, then watch out, because squares test you to grow and change in some way. Often, this also means that you are suppressing your own nature in some way, which is never really a good idea. When you suppress your Soul, it can make your human more sensitive or defensive, taking things personally as a threat or challenge. If you catch your Self feeling irritable for no apparent reason this week, try to step back and gain some perspective before responding to either your own thoughts or another person’s words. Mercury & Mars getting together, in this challenging way, can provoke debates and, in some people, actual fights, so be careful. The deeper aspect of this activation is that some part of you wants to express, perhaps in a new way, and your monkey-mind has got you all off track. Mars demands that you know who you are and what you want, and is the Sacred Masculine part of you, which is supposed to hold good boundaries, protect you and negotiate on your behalf in the world. If you know something that you are not acting on, this too can be frustrating. If you are acting in ways that are not allowing you to think things through, this can cause accidents, problems and delays. It is best to pull inward until you are clear. And also keep in mind, you may not be out of alignment in the above ways, but those around you may be and will likely have no context for what they are feeling and therefore, become indiscriminate with their own choices & actions. Self-preservation is not selfish but essential at this time.

3/26 ~ Venus (beauty & creativity) ~conjunct~ Sun (individuality & Light): This activates your innate creativity and gets your wheels turning about what you want to express or bring to life in the world, what you want to invest in and be a part of. When Sun contacts Venus, the creativity is centered around you, the individual, however, here as Venus contacts the Sun, it is all about your creations! Use this Solar infusion to brighten and illuminate your Self, your surroundings and/or your creative projects. This expands & brightens your magnetic field and opportunities that are just right for you are the result. There is a burst of new energy wanting to be expressed through you, and it’s based on your new values & priorities. It is also the beginning of a new creative cycle. Remember that love too is a creative force, so if your relationships are more center-stage than your creative projects, then this too lends new potency to what you create with others. This is a powerful seed time and good to allow support & guidance from men and/or the Sacred Masculine within and around you.
