An Astrological Overview of December 2023

An Astrological Overview of December 2023

As the editor of the Astrology Arizona newsletter, I compose an overview of each month. Today we take a look at the primary factors for the month.

The Overview for December

In 2023, the month of December features a lot of heavy action, including Neptune, Chiron, and Jupiter all going stationary direct, and Mercury going retrograde most of the month and going direct on January 1!

This shows a tidal shift from retrograde to direct energy in three heavyweight astrological spiritual players. With Mercury trine Jupiter from the beginning of the month through the Northern Hemisphere Winter Solstice culminating in the Inferior conjunction with the Sun on the Galactic Center point, it would seem that we’ll all be receiving indirect signals after the Solstice from Cosmic sources!

We continue to be blessed by the closest Neptune sextile with Pluto in 30 years, with Uranus joining the “three note chord” in 2024. With Uranus in late Taurus, Neptune in late Pisces, and Pluto in late Capricorn, we have a very strong “double sextile/trine” which should favorably impact all planets we have in the last 10 degrees of Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces. The Spiritual Field represented by these outermost planets is helping stabilize our late Earth and Water sectors in the spiritual sectors of their signs.

This is preparing us for an entirely new experience of Spirit and Life in 2025 when these Spiritual powerhouses shift out of Earth and Water into Fire and Air, joined by Saturn when it enters Aries creating a “three note chord” of harmonic consciousness. That means 2023, 2024, and 2025 will spiritually harmonize planets we have in the late degrees of the Earth and Water signs, while 2025-2026 they will do the same for planets we have in the early degrees of the Fire and Air signs.

Uranus is still retrograde in the last decan of Taurus bringing grounded power. It will occupy its stationary direct degree beginning the second week of December, with the Cosmic Awakener urging us to very high states of consciousness as we prepare for a “new time, new way, and new day” we awakened to in late June and early July. Neptune at “the end of the end” of Pisces is giving us all a sense of vast feelings and finality, bringing purification in December so that our Soul may come forth unencumbered by past ghosts in 2024. With Pluto at “the end of the end” of Capricorn, it brings a strong sense of the past “coming to present” between now and January, when Pluto returns to Aquarius. This month we prepare to revisit the larger “vision of the future” beginning in January. We are living on the cusp of historical change.

With the inner planets in Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Capricorn this month, that’s the specific area of focus in our charts. Mercury contributes a look forward and a look back this month, with the retrograde station at 9 Capricorn bringing 3 weeks of taking a new look at what we’ve attuned to throughout 2023. So December gives us a review of the entire year while preparing us for our temporary visit to our metaphoric “Ellis Island” at the end of the month when Mercury will go direct and move us into our “new land,” with radical developments coming between now and May!

This month shows Venus “leading the Light” until the Solstice Inferior Conjunction of Mercury with the Sun, showing that affections, values, and interactions will be very important if we want to “see the Light” in situations during the first three weeks of December. As Venus is in Scorpio almost the entire month, She will make all the same aspects as the Sun and Mars made between mid-October and late November. This should bring value and appreciation for what we’ve been going through these past 7 weeks. Venus in Scorpio will help us get to the heart of any matter, and many will begin to go through their closets and address books to eliminate all which no longer has value or which has become more trouble than it’s worth.

Jupiter is still retrograde but goes direct at the end of the month on the same degree Mercury went direct in May. We’ve now had a “look back” at issues related to the Spring Mercury retrograde. The themes of both these retrogrades is teaching us that the entire period of April 2023 through March 2024 is a time when old answers can’t confirm the new conditions, and old approaches won’t get the job done. Find new approaches, new attitudes, new understanding, and don’t worry about the past.

This month the inner planets are closing in on the outer planet occupied zone which begins with Pluto in late Capricorn. When the inner planets transit Capricorn through Taurus and conjunct the outer planets, it’s a time to pull the energies inward, and when they’re between Cancer and Scorpio it creates different dynamics in how the energies express. The Venus oppositions from late Scorpio to Uranus will be the final non-lunar oppositions to the outer planets for the year, promising closure, completion, and compression of energies from now through March, when all the planets will be within a very narrow 108 degree span!

Remember, the first 12 days of the month are still under the influence of the November New Moon at 21 Scorpio, helping us turn away from constraints and obligations we no longer need to bear. While there may be “conflicts between old and new perspective,” follow the dictates of your heart. We’re seeing to the core of things as we remove whatever would block our ability to express and pursue our heart’s desire, so if in doubt, just do it! Leap into your uniqueness and genius the first two weeks of December, preparing for new roles to play in the larger collective situation.

The Libra Solar eclipse continues to help us remove old ideals, old “repair work” which is already done or which can no longer be done. Ambivalence and theoretical images which aren’t relevant to our future are slipping away, creating space to be filled in 2024. The early Scorpio/Taurus Lunar eclipse Full Moon is already working to help us “tear away from the known and familiar,” and find allies to build bridges from the present to the future. That Lunar eclipse is exactly when Mercury conjuncts Mars in Scorpio and both oppose Jupiter, so expect the liberation of a lot of energy to be re-grounded in new forms between now and March.

The second part of the month is under the influence of the December 12 New Moon at 21 Sagittarius, showing the focus is on finding “growth through imitation,” and the liberation of whatever was cocooned by the Scorpio energies in play between mid-October and late November. As that New Moon is square Neptune, it’s the fulfillment of our “purifying ordeal” we’ve been through in 2023. Be clear about what role(s) you are and are not playing, and if there’s any doubt, be bold rather than timid. See different ways to communicate what you care about, and your diligence will lead to recognition down the road.

December also brings the second of three Mercury conjunctions with Mars. The first one was in late October at 12 Scorpio. That’s helped us raise the level of our social interactions since then. The second will happen in late December at 25 Sagittarius, and the third will happen in late January at 18 Capricorn, showing that we’ve all been learning how to deal with the fusion of Mind and Action since late October affecting the rulers of our Aries, Gemini, Virgo, and Scorpio sectors played out in the houses where we have mid-Scorpio, late Sagittarius, and mid-Capricorn.

Jupiter in Taurus gives a Taurus backdrop to planets we have in Sagittarius and Pisces, as well as the houses where we have these signs on the cusp. As it rules Saturn and they make a sextile through February, it should be a very productive time in the chart areas ruled by these planets.

We also have several long wave Aries cycles in play. Jupiter launched a major healing and mentoring cycle when it conjuncted Chiron at 15 Aries on March 11, 2023. That began a long wave Chiron cycle which will last until the Summer of 2036. As an aside, when Chiron transits between Aquarius and Gemini, it moves relatively slowly and has conjunctions with Jupiter about every 13 years. However, it can take 19-20 years for the next conjunction after Gemini or Cancer. That means once the conjunction at 16 Gemini happens in the Summer of 2036, then we won’t have another conjunction of Jupiter and Chiron until the Spring of 2056 in Aquarius.

Because Jupiter rules Pisces, Saturn will have a steady Taurus feel through May. As Jupiter is heralding where Saturn will transit in a few years, we’re all getting a sense of corners to be turned later this decade when Saturn transits Taurus and makes the waxing square to the December 2020 Jupiter/Saturn conjunction point at 1 Aquarius. That conjunction ended a 200 year Earth era and began a 200 year Air era, and set the sociocultural conditions for the greater Aquarian 20 year era now developing.

Saturn is now direct so we should begin to feel movement in the house where we have 1 Pisces. That sign is associated with deep and vast feeling energies, and impacts planets, points, or house cusps we have in Capricorn and Aquarius. Saturn’s Summer retrograde station has led us back through experience so we may “hear a call to renewal” wherever we have early Pisces. Because it’s now direct, a new life related to that renewal will unfold quickly in early 2024.

Planets Slowing Down, Speeding Up, or Shifting Signs

As mentioned earlier, this month begins with all the inner planets in direct motion with Saturn and Pluto direct and Jupiter and Uranus retrograde. Neptune, because it goes stationary direct at the beginning of the month, has already begun to speed up since its opposition with the Sun in September. So all the outer planets have begun to speed up after their oppositions from the Sun, with Saturn and Pluto moving quickly forward and Jupiter and Uranus beginning to speed up rapidly by early January.

At the beginning of December Mercury’s already slowing, preparing to go retrograde in mid-December. It will continue to slow down until the Solstice Inferior Conjunction, after which it will begin to speed up. Venus continues to speed up after last Summer’s retrograde, and Mars continues to accelerate after its direct station at 9 Gemini last January.

In December we have three planets changing signs, one of them twice during the month. This month the Sun, ruler of Leo and Cancer, will give us two (Sagittarius and Capricorn). Mercury, ruler of Gemini and Virgo, will give us two (Sagittarius and Capricorn). And Venus, ruler of Taurus and Libra, will give us three (Libra, Scorpio, and Sagittarius.

Mars

Mars is currently at maximum speed, indicating we can get a lot done quickly if we don’t get too scattered or ahead of ourselves. It went stationary direct at 9 Gemini in January 2024, with a theme of being a Zen archer, sure in your aim as a result of your training between September 2022 and February 2023. This has been a theme for this year and continues in 2024. Mars is now in Sagittarius, giving a push to all the Sagittarius activities and ideas we’ve had up to now. Mars helps us act with precision and persistence; in Sagittarius, it’s flame on and hitch a ride on a star!

This month Mars activates the house(s) where we have 5 through 27 Sagittarius. Mars in Sagittarius would rather dance around problems than take them head on, and would like it even better to be able to move somewhere else where the problems don’t exist!

The first 8 days of December, Mars is in the Sagittarius decan of Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter with an extra dose of Mercury. From December 8 through 21, Mars is in the Aries decan of Sagittarius, ruled by Mars with an extra dose of the Moon. And from December 21 through 31, Mars is in the Leo decan of Sagittarius, ruled by the Sun with an extra dose of Saturn.

Between December 1-10, Mars will prove agitating to those with planets between 5-12 Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. From December 11-20, it will have the same effect on planets between 12-20 degrees of the same Mutable signs. And between December 21 and 31, it will agitate planets between 20-27 of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces.

As I’ve offered before, when Mars is within a degree of forming or separating from a hard aspect with a planet, slow down and show deliberation and caution in how you use force. Hard aspects to/from Mars always require that we moderate or antidote impulsiveness and impatience.

Sign Focus

This month the sign focus again shows a preponderance of Sagittarius with some Scorpio and Capricorn. Mercury’s in Capricorn at the beginning of December, Venus continues to occupy the last part of Libra for the first 4 days of the month before it enters Scorpio. That mix holds until the Solstice, when the Sun and Mercury will swap signs, with Mercury leaving Capricorn just after the Sun enters that sign. The month is mainly Sagittarius, with the Sun and Mars both in that sign for the first three weeks of the month and Mercury and Mars both there the last week of the month with Venus making an appearance at the very end of December.

So the first 4 days of the month features one visible planet in Pisces, Taurus, Libra, Sagittarius and Capricorn. After December 5, we find one in Scorpio, two in Sagittarius, and one in Capricorn. This holds through December 22, with changes in the last week leading to three visible planets in Sagittarius and one in Capricorn by the end of the month.

We’re Actors On A New Stage With A New Set – The Bigger Picture

We’re still in the initial years of a new era in human evolution. The Grand Mutation of Jupiter conjunct Saturn at 1 Aquarius began a new 20 year Aquarian Era in December 2020, as well as a new 200 year era, moving global energies out of Earth and into Air. We’ve begun to grow beyond the materialism of the past 200 years and have entered two centuries of Air emphasis, with its qualities of relatedness, receptivity, versatility, movability, lightness, and cooperative ideas, visions, and ideals.

We’re still "under the beams" of the Solar Eclipses we experienced in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 and these “cosmic recyclers” continue to remove all that we no longer need in our lives. Take note of where you have 1 Cancer, 24 and 13 Sagittarius, 20 Gemini, 11 Taurus, and 2 Scorpio, since 1 Cancer aligns us with a larger reality, 24 Sagittarius helps us find happiness, 13 Sagittarius gives us a new identity and love, 20 Gemini removes what cannot be assimilated or communicated, 11 Taurus will help us remove “weeds from our garden of Life and Mind,” and the one at 2 Scorpio is helping us release memories and attachments from the past.

The May 2022 eclipses with Sun in Taurus have begun to shut down old value systems in that sector, as well as the Scorpio sector via the May Full Moon Wesak Festival eclipse. November’s Total Lunar Eclipse Full Moon at 17 Taurus/Scorpio has helped us tap our spiritual power to transform our lower self and our worldly expression. The Scorpio Solar and Lunar eclipses are already leading us to say goodbye to the past, giving up some old ideals, and finding a new perspective on how and when to do things. You can find out more about Solar and Lunar eclipses by going to the archives on how eclipses work.

The April-May 2023 eclipses have begun to work their magic on our Aries and Libra sectors for quite a while to come. The Solar eclipse at 30 Aries is sure to shut down some elements wherever we have that in our charts, and the eclipses we’ve just been through are the last ones in the Taurus/Scorpio sector with a new one already shutting down some things wherever we have 22 Libra.

As we study how successive Eclipses have affected various areas of our charts and lives, we can get a sense of the utility of these “Cosmic Recyclers” in removing what we no longer needed in those areas, creating a void which attracted new life experiences. They invite us to look back, and then forward, to see the continuity of “letting go, taking in, letting go, taking in” across the years.

Primary Action Beats for the First Half of the Month

December begins under the influence of the November New Moon at 21 Scorpio, continuing our lessons in navigating a “conflict between old and new perspectives” which is coming to fruition via the late November Full Moon at 6 Scorpio/Taurus, helping us break away from the known and familiar while focusing on bridge building with our allies as a way to redirect from inadequate answers and methods.

The first week of the month begins with Mercury entering Capricorn and immediately sextiling Saturn, followed by Venus square Pluto and Mars quincunx Jupiter. The first favors productivity and prepares us for the multiple sextiles these two will make between now and mid-January. The quincunx shows a need to adapt methods or vision.

This should accompany a rebirth of some sort of love coupled with a return to Source, with productivity found in cooperating with the invisible world to receive “unusual good luck” and a need to protect what needs protecting and uplifting what needs to be strengthened. Adjust the goal or the method of attaining that goal in a balanced way.

Venus square Pluto is the culmination of old relationships, old ideals, and old ways of interacting with a need for seeing our part to sing in “the Cosmic Choir” and weighing alternatives as we stand on the threshold of a new cycle. This square will primarily affect those with planets or points around 27-30 Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn.

This is immediately followed by Venus entering Scorpio and trining Saturn, which should stabilize a lot as we surrender our old feelings and open to a deeper way of relating to others. This can provide a wider perspective once we give up the search in our 3D reality and raise our view to a higher level. Neptune then goes stationary direct on December 6, marking a sea change in the collective consciousness and encouraging us to purify whatever needs purification so we can move into a new life in 2024 unencumbered by old ghosts.

The first week ends with the very favorable Sun trine Chiron and the first Mercury trine Jupiter, giving us clear signs and signals about how to organize and ground the vision which will move forward in January. These trines will generate favorable energies in the middle decans of Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius and Aquarius, as well as the first decans of Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces.

The first week of December shows the Moon transiting between Cancer and Libra, and because it’s far outside the occupied half from Scorpio to Taurus, the Moon becomes a “nozzle” to focus the energies of all the other planets. If you’re wondering what’s going on or what to do that week, the answer is in the sign of the Moon. The Grand Fire Trines of December 1-2 should be very favorable, though caution and a need for major adjustments dominates the evening of December 2 through the quincunxes and Finger of God operating on December 3.

The Moon enters Virgo late December 3, and though it makes a Grand Earth Trine early on December 4, it’s followed by the powerful squares to the Sun and Mars showing a need to find alternative explanations, alternative routes, or alternative takes on things with an eye to things unsaid or merely suspected. The early trines on December 5 are good for stabilizing things, and the aspects to Neptune and Pluto will help us see all sides of whatever we’re looking at.

The Moon in Libra on December 6-7 will be a bit rough on the 6th due to the square to Mercury and the offset Yod made by Jupiter in a wide sextile to Saturn with the Moon as the nozzle for the quincunxes. That evening the aspects to the Sun and Mars make for pleasant productivity, culminating in the trines mentioned earlier.

The second week of December features Venus opposed Jupiter, which should be fairly expansive, deep, and intense. Be alert to subconscious issues in play, and cultivate your “spiritual breathwork.” That’s followed by Sun quincunx Uranus on December 11-12, so don’t allow nervous energy to distract you from your preparations for future need. That quincunx will give us good information about the adjustments and sacrifices we’ll have to plug in when Mars quincunxes Uranus in the third week of the month. Go for permanent wisdom forms while enjoying yourself to the max!

The second week ends with a bang, since December 12 brings the New Moon AND Mercury going stationary retrograde. That New Moon encourages learning through imitation, and will help us get clear about the roles we are and are not playing. Adapt, trim and shape whatever to express your sense of things.

The Moon transits between Libra and Capricorn in the second week of December. Moon in Libra is favorable on December 7, with a Yod active that evening into the 8th, when the Moon enters Scorpio. That brings favorable aspects as long as excess and/or discontent are curbed. Don’t go where you don’t need to go December 8-10, and if something big surfaces on December 9-10, make sure it’s not exaggerated.

The Moon is in Sagittarius on December 11-13, making it an Old Moon before the New Moon on the 12th. Those days are a mixed bag, since Mercury is sextile Venus making for harmony, understanding, and pleasant interactions which will bear fruit in the future, but the Moon squares Saturn and quincunxes Jupiter just before conjuncting Mars, so stay focused and a bit cautious!

That caution extends to the 12th and 13th with Moon quincunx Uranus and square Neptune with Mercury on its station. The harmony and understanding of Moon trine Chiron will give hints about what to expect later that week when Mars trines Chiron. Once the Moon enters Capricorn on December 13 things should smooth out and proceed both productively and harmoniously.

Primary Action Beats for the Second Half of the Month

The second half of the month begins with Mars trine Chiron, the Sun square Neptune, and Venus quincunx Chiron. It will be evident what needs to be done, but there may be a need to nail down details and make adjustments in the level of intensity Venus brings to everything while in Scorpio. Because these are all waning aspects, they represent phases of harmony, adjustment, and culmination of old Chironic and Neptunian lessons for the year.

That week is also dominated by Mercury retrograde making its second trine to Jupiter, harmonizing the houses where we have Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces, as well as any planets or points we have in those signs. Tension builds through December 19-21 when Venus opposed Uranus is exact, making real something promised by the 21 Scorpio New Moon.

The third week of December ends with the first Mercury sextile Saturn, Mars quincunx Uranus, and the Northern Hemispheric Winter Solstice. Mercury trine Jupiter followed by Mercury sextile Saturn will generate a favorable energy to all planets we have in the early degrees of the Earth and Water signs, and Venus opposed Uranus encourages us to allow others maximum freedom to express their individuality.

As mentioned earlier, use the Sun quincunx Uranus in the second week of December to anticipate what actions need to be done and how to do them when Mars quincunxes Uranus between December 19-23. As the Solstice features very favorable aspects to Mercury, Saturn, and Jupiter, we should have a fairly good Winter ahead!

The third week of December has the Moon moving between Capricorn and Taurus, showing it’s within the outer planet occupied span and thus it’ll feel more crowded. Overall, the Moon in Capricorn in the middle of the month is favorable, and even the T-square made by the Moon in Aquarius to the Venus opposed Jupiter on December 15-16 will be good for the heart!

The Moon in Pisces on December 17-19 makes great aspects, so bless the endings while sensing the deep flow taking you into the future. Moon square Mars on December 18 urges caution, while the Moon in Aries square to Mercury on December 19-20 requires a bit of moderation and release of emotional clutching. The week ends with Moon in Aries and Taurus the day of the Solstice, with harmony and productivity in the air. As Mars is on the degree of the 21 Sagittarius New Moon, much will be activated at that time.

The fourth week begins with the Inferior conjunction on the Galactic Center point, showing that the rest of the month into January features a “fusion of Life and backward looking Mind” with the potential of receiving much higher Cosmic signals than we’ve known in a long time. Many will get deep and vast insights into the Plutonic forces set into motion in 2008-2010 when it was conjunct the Galactic Center. After the Inferior conjunction, Mercury will gradually speed up, go stationary direct on January 1, and continue to accelerate through its Superior conjunction at 10 Pisces in late February.

Mercury re-enters Sagittarius on December 22-23, and the Sun sextile Saturn that week should make for maximum productivity in our activities. That week also features Venus trine Neptune and sextile Pluto, helping us see clearly to the core of things and adjust to the collective atmosphere by accepting the grace or power or mandate which will be needed to take the lead in some way.

December 26th brings the Full Moon at 5 Cancer/Capricorn, guaranteeing some huge karmic adjustments for those with planets or points near 3-7 Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn, as well as 18-22 Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius. Chiron also goes stationary direct that day, showing the two weeks following that Full Moon will be a time to find a new inspiration which helps us steer the process of healing into our Higher Self.

As that Full Moon also features the second Mercury square Neptune, take a new look at your ideals, your assumptions, and your take on the general atmosphere, and get a new view or a new angle of approach. Just be careful when in transit, since this is an aspect of people spacing out on the roads (and pretty much everywhere else!) Still, with the Sun in an exact trine to Jupiter from December 25-29, this should be a fairly benevolent holiday season giving us a chance to refine our expertise in some way.

However, also in play at that Full Moon, besides the Mercury square Neptune, is Mercury conjunct Mars and Mars square Neptune, so there will be a need for precision, clarity, accuracy in aim, and a sense of humor and the ability to create space for the future which is already rapidly unfolding at that time. Venus enters Sagittarius on December 29, relieving the pressure accompanying Venus in Scorpio, and the month ends with Jupiter going stationary direct just before we slip into the new calendar year with Venus square Saturn and Mercury going stationary direct on January 1!

The last 10 days of the month shows the Moon moving between Taurus and Virgo. It makes very favorable aspects on December 21-23, with quincunxes to Mercury and Mars on the 23rd, reinforcing the numerous quincunxes made from planets in Sagittarius to planets in Taurus. The Moon enters Gemini on December 24, and though square Saturn, the Sun sextile Saturn rules the energy field that day. The Moon in Gemini on December 25-26 is a bit of a mixed bag, but things should smooth out once Moon enters Cancer on December 26 and trines Saturn and sextiles Jupiter while the Sun trines Jupiter.

The harmonious energy continues as the Moon makes very favorable aspects on December 27-28, though the Moon in Leo on the 28th through the 31st will bring many adjustments and sacrifices through the quincunxes in play the 29th and 30th. Jupiter goes direct on December 30, and the Moon in Virgo Lunar T-square on the 31st activating the Venus square Saturn will be good for multi-tasking followed by expansive opportunities thanks to a New Year’s Eve trine to Jupiter.

Evolutionary Development

This is the fifth month of the North Node in Aries era! We’re now opening to many months of realizing that our line of greatest development is best served by self-initiated activity which acts in the NOW, demonstrated by our balanced response to paying dues and remembering we do emotional repair work by understanding why things end when they do. We gain through building emotional or social potency, and demonstrate it through reconstructed feelings. We build through Aries and release through Libra, so adopt a pioneering attitude that is expressed with grace and diplomacy.

This month we grow through receiving a “concentrated dose of spiritual energy into our lives” the first half of the month, while needing to follow through and tend what’s gestating the second half of the month. Here we get pulled to develop whatever Uranus awakened in 2016/2017. In any case, we grow through Aries and demonstrate it through Libra’s balance, fairness, and a sense of justice.

Our wise friend Saturn brought us to the threshold of radical transfiguration and entry into a greater field of conscious Light/Life in March, and having had our first experience of the Saturn in Pisces era, we now are ready to move forward into the next phase of the deep waters of Pisces. This is a time of demonstrating a greater empathy, sense of connection, intuition, and compassion.

Specific Saturn themes for December involve being joyous as we rally to do some task while seeing “the social nature of human responsibilities” on the way to a rebirth of our way of navigating the marketplace of life where we will discover new ways to transact our business on every level, with ourselves as well as others. The first half of the month requires a bit of protection, while the second half will show us the “indestructible elements of Being.”

The Sun in Sagittarius is a time to see the Light of flying free into the world of larger ideas, larger views, larger truths, and a more satisfying future. In Scorpio we learned focus, leaving behind the obsolete and extraneous, creating voids which will attract new life substance in the near future. Prepare for an intense Sagittarian wild ride breaking free of the old cocoons.

We now complete our third year of the new Aquarian era, and prepare for the fourth year, with a new iteration of that future-oriented energy coming this February! Jupiter in Taurus is allowing us new expansive ground which will sustain the Aquarian unfoldment into the future. Take a look back to see how you’ve attuned this year to your invisible helpers, and get ready to enter a new world in 2024. Find a good attitude, and the new land you find will be far more enjoyable than the old land you’ve had to leave.

Because we’re now in the third year of a new 20 year and 200 year cycle, remember a new era has dawned. Have courage and take the initiative to leave the Earth and fly free into the Air of what’s opening as the Grand Mutation expands its promise into the Divine transfigured ideal of a more just truth and future. This month brings a review and reflections of the entire year, with an eye to seeing how we’re using new perspectives, new ways of acting, and new answers for new questions as we sum up the year. As always, lighten up, play a little, and be willing to explore new arenas of effective activity where you can work and play with other Light Spirits, and take heart as we stand at the dawning of the coming Pluto in Aquarius era.

We have now collectively transfigured into a greater vision of the one Light/Life we all are together. Continue to find your heart strength and new forms of genuine happiness appropriate for who you are now, and who you are becoming relative to just a few months ago.

The 2022 Capricorn and Aquarius transits began a new chapter of utilizing forms of personal power which began in Capricorn to serve the emerging Aquarian ideal. We now navigate the cosmic time-space between endings and beginnings so bless and forgive much to flow down the time stream. The past is over and we all have begun our trek into a new world of new potential, new adventures, and new ways to enjoy being ourselves while doing our work of Destiny. Open to the abundance of the process of growth, since we are all on a rocket ship to the stars!
