Mercury Leaves Its Shadow Zone at 28 Scorpio To Coordinate the Future

On December 7, 2019, Mercury leaves its “Shadow Zone” and moves into the future. What does this mean?
First, for those who don’t know the term, a planet’s “Shadow Zone” is the span of degrees between the point it goes stationary retrograde back to where it goes stationary direct. When a planet which was retrograde goes direct, it moves across the same span of degrees it did when retrograde. That is the Shadow Zone.
Mercury went SRX at 28 Scorpio on October 31. It retrograded back to 12 Scorpio, where it went direct in late November. It’s now in forward motion and about to leave the boundary of its shadow zone at 28 Scorpio. As Mercury, “the Guide of Souls” and coordinator of our Life is now speeding up, we can expect all things related to Mercury to speed up as well for the next few weeks.
This year, Mercury’s “batting cleanup,” meaning it is the last inner planet to transit the degrees of the season. Mars will activate these Mercury retrograde in Scorpio lessons as it transits 12-28 Scorpio all of December. So besides the delays of Mercury retrograde, it seems some of those will be really delayed in being activated some weeks after the retrograde! That means we can expect more experiences related to the SRX 28 Scorpio theme, the Inferior Conjunction 19 Scorpio theme, and the SD 12 Scorpio theme to roll out in the next few weeks.
Now Mercury prepares to enter Sagittarius, bringing coordination, information, or understanding to events already experienced via the inner planet transit of Sagittarius, as well as perceptions related to the past year’s Sagittarius occupancy by Jupiter. As it leaves its Shadow Zone, it now can bring us objective understanding of recent events so our ideas can “catch up” with our life, likes, and initiatives.
From here, Mercury will speed up until it catches up to the Sun at the next Superior Conjunction in January at 20 Capricorn just before their multiple conjunctions with Saturn and Pluto at 23 Capricorn, the degree of “rewards for bravery in battle.” We ALL have rewards coming in 2020 in the life area where we have the last decan of Capricorn.
So enjoy the quickened pace, which should help many areas of our lives move forward in fine style. As usual, I’ll be writing more about Mercury’s Superior Conjunction with the Sun in January, as well as the very important compression between January and March yielding numerous other conjunctions in Capricorn. These indicate great reorganizations and reorientations toward the Capricorn sector of our charts, propelling us toward the Mars conjunct Saturn at 1 Aquarius heralding and jump starting the Grand Mutation of 2020 in Aquarius, ushering in a dynamic Aquarian 200 year period!
