Weekly Musings, Episode 12

Weekly Musings, Episode 12

Happy Virgo Season, friends.

Today, Saturday August 22, the Sun changes sign, entering the realm of purity, precision and refinement. May its light shine on what needs to become healthier and functional in our lives. May it inspire us to tackle the work that awaits.

Because tomorrow, Sunday 23, is when the Mars in Aries / Saturn in Capricorn square will peak — on a Moon in Scorpio day, no less. There might be epiphanies, revelations and culminations pertaining to whatever it is we’re up against — the one obstacle, the stone we’re trying to roll up the mountain like Sisyphus. Make sure you’re extra gentle with yourself: exhaustion and burnout are signs that you’re being pushed to reassess the ways in which you manage your personal energy.

Between Sunday and Monday 24, Venus in Cancer will also opposite Saturn in Capricorn, highlighting the ineluctable, whether it’s the walls we have put up, the issues that can no longer be avoided, the reality setting in.

On Tuesday 25, however, Mercury in Virgo will form a trine to Uranus in Taurus — there are inspiring, innovative ways to work around it, the ineluctable. You just don’t know yet. But remain alert, and the flash of insight will come. With the Moon entering Sagittarius, the mood should lighten up a little, as well.

On Wednesday 26, the Sagittarius Moon crosses the South Node in Sagittarius, highlighting what we need to release in order to move forward.

On Thursday 27, Venus in Cancer forms a soothing, blissful trine to Neptune in Pisces, and — pardon the vaguely sexual metaphor, I have an angular Mars in Aries — this makes me think of a cosmic lubricant of sorts. Yes, the Moon will be freshly into Capricorn and the square between Mars and Saturn will be still active, but compassion, forgiveness and flexibility can open passageways where there seem to be none.

On Friday 28, the Moon in Capricorn crosses the war zone of Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn, in this order, while Mercury in Virgo trines Jupiter. Communicating effectively about practical matters and duties can yield expansion, too.

The card I picked for the upcoming week is… The World.

I know, it seems strange, but as utterly chaotic, draining and impossible as things might seem right now, there are big or small victories to be celebrated.

I definitely hope to be able to celebrate my next project with you, so keep your eyes on your inbox because the big announcement drops this Monday. I’m teaching my first online course ever, and having put so much of my heart and soul into it, I can’t wait to introduce you to my newest labor of love!

See you in two days.
Love,
Cristina
