Weekly Musings, Episode 17

Weekly Musings, Episode 17

Lovers, fighters and stargazers — welcome to the month of October.

Speaking of the astrology: most of us are probably recovering from the Aries Full Moon — including yours truly (the worst hangover I’ve ever experienced, WITHOUT even touching a drink. Aries = head. Moon = body. Mars = inflammation. Chiron = pain). Yesterday, Venus entered Virgo, the sign of her fall, and I wrote a piece about it here.

Today, the Moon finally leaves Aries for Taurus, the sign of her exaltation, linking up with Venus in Virgo right away via a sweet, smooth, soothing trine. Ground yourselves in and through pleasure.  Stimulate and appease your senses. Tend to your bodies.

Tomorrow, on Sunday October 4, Pluto stations direct in Capricorn, and I will admit it — I like it when this happens. It’s  cord-cutting time. The Moon in Taurus will be conjoining Uranus, to boot, so I’m positive this Direct station is going to feel liberating for many of us — something that has been previously weighing us down, trapping us, binding us, a situation, a dynamic, an issue, is going to release its grip on us. This might mean different things for you personally depending on how this transit hits your chart (reminder: readings are open! You can choose between Astrology and Tarot. I’m soon going to renew my website and sales pages, meaning that specific services like transit forecasts will need to be purchased separately and they will cost more, because they require a lot of effort/energy).

On Monday, October 5, the Moon in the final degrees of Taurus will form an amicable trine to the Capricorn planets — which is definitely good for a Monday, since it will help us to keep an effective, yet more relaxed approach to our duties.

On Tuesday, October 6, the Moon will enter Gemini, and we’re likely to feel more inclined to network, absorb information and circulate knowledge.

On Wednesday, October 7, the opposition between Mercury in Scorpio and Uranus in Taurus will peak, while the Gemini Moon forms a trine to the Sun in Libra and a square to Neptune in Pisces. The energy for the day is going to be very wonky, sizzling and unstable. Make sure you don’t jump to conclusions, get carried away with wishful thinking or make permanent decisions before you have gathered all the facts. Actually, since Mercury is soon going to station Retrograde, you might want to abstain from making decisions that could potentially have permanent or long-lasting consequences. Don’t be like me, the dumbass that will 100% buy a laptop while Mercury is Retrograde and have the whole damn thing fall apart over the years, literally, piece by piece. Or book a flight to Spain for her Solar Return while Mercury is stationing Direct in Cancer only for the company to cancel the flight weeks later because of Corona. But that’s another story, for another time :)

On Thursday, October 8, Retrograde Mars in Aries will perfect its second square to Pluto in Capricorn while the Last Quarter Moon happens in Cancer. Expect the emotional intensity to be off the charts today; sit with your feelings, but try to act with integrity.

The Moon will still be in Cancer on October 9, which also happens to be my birthday and the start of a Ninth House Jupiter-ruled profection year. I would tell you how old I’ll turn, but I seriously cannot remember right now. (Natal Mercury Retrograde and combust be like that sometimes).

The card for the upcoming week is the Judgment.

This is a defining moment for sure. This card speaks of consequences, of outcomes that have been shaped and co-created, of decisions being made. An example is our friends in the US mobilizing to vote 45 shades of Cantaloupe out of office. For those of us (including me) who live elsewhere, voting is still an accurate metaphor for the energies of this moment — what are your thoughts, actions and deeds voting in or out of your life?

Love you and see you next week,
Cristina
