I recently gave my “Predictions for 2020” at the Arizona Society of Astrologers meeting. Because there’s so much material, I promised the group I would post my notes on the talk here at the Aquarius Papers. Today is the last part of the talk, which offers a brief take on what’s ahead for each sign. This was always the part people most liked during the years I did my forecasts in Southern California, so please enjoy these brief snapshots. Of course these are for both Sun signs and rising signs!

2020 for Each Sign

Aries – A year of fulfilling old duties and accepting new public work. January-April is a high profile time. Anticipate the future, since you’re getting ready for new friends and new group work which will begin in August, slow down and get reworked in September-October, and then gets back on track by November. If you catch the wave in April great gifts are yours in 2021.

Taurus – You’ve eliminated some life options, and now can see the future clearly. A year of spiritual exploration, seeing a bigger picture. Travel will bring understanding and wisdom. You’re preparing for a totally different future which will launch in early 2021. Open to giving and receiving unique gifts as you enjoy the wisdom of the process.

Gemini – Time to face the fact that you can’t always get what you want, and often have to let of all which prevents you from moving into the future lighter and brighter. Learn to value what others value, but remember the mutability of Earthly things. April-May brings closure and future visions, while May-June brings crosscurrents and returns, for better or worse.

Cancer – I know it all feels too heavy for words, but you’ll feel lighter as you stop trying to over-control situations and “let go, let God.” A time of transformational relationships. Get a plan, pay attention to details, and use the productive understanding you got in the Autumn of 2019 to “tack into the wind” and find your way to safe harbor. [Note: that phrase is a sailing term, and means to sail into the wind at the right angle so you can more forward despite the headwinds.]

Leo – A year to play at your work and work at your play as you prepare to assume a larger role in life in 2021. I know you’ve had years of adjustments and sacrifices! I know it’s uncomfortable when your realm is not setting in some way. Be diligent in your service, and please take care of your health. Important things come to surface in the Spring, along with return of friends and memories of friends.

Virgo – Why are you worrying? Your life actually makes sense if you stop overcomplicating things and picking nits out of boredom. You're in the second year of a great two year run. Search for greater simple and straightforward practical truths, take some fun classes in a skill which you could master and be known for, and remember that sometimes people really are as weird as they seem. Be patient with others in May and June.

Libra – This is a year of major turning points, giving you an adequate personality structure for the burst of creativity coming in 2021. This year builds the soil of your garden, with important returns in the Spring and annoying reversals in the Autumn. Follow the agitation into a new creative expression. Look back in May and June on the values you used to cherish, since they'll factor into what presents itself in early 2021.

Scorpio – This will be one of the most productive years of your life! It’s the natural expansion of all you’ve become these past 7 years, which will lead to the major changes you’ll go through in 2021 and 2022. For now, enjoy the gifts and blessings which come from a practical approach to life’s duties. Organize now for April's turning points, and go with the flow in May and June. Serious crosscurrents begin in July and August.

Sagittarius – What do you value, and why do you value it? Are you using what you have with wisdom, based in what opened for you in 2019? This year sets long term lessons in what you value or possess, whether in material things, emotional habits, or comfortable assumptions. January-February jumpstarts the vision or adventure you got last year. Confusion in May-June; pay attention to details. Take heart and show courage August through December.

Capricorn – Welcome to a new life! One way and another, you’ll get what you have worked for, and will close the books and say goodbye to many things and people. This year hold limitless transformational possibilities, but you’ll have to let go of all fear, rigidity, and need to control outcomes. Conserve your energy, take the long view, and let go of pessimism, since rewards are on the way!

Aquarius – This year is the end of a long journey. Enjoy the harvest which will come, without taking too hard a view of your life as it is. This is the time to be mature in your motives, and let go of ghosts of the past. Drop old psychological baggage as quickly as you can, since your future arrives in the Spring. You can be liberated from old conditions through being galvanized to action. New group or social initiatives dominate August through December.

Pisces – What do you want and why do you want it? While we know you’d rather stay submerged, or at least stay behind the scenes, sometimes your universality and compassion are exactly what your friends and associates need. Move toward a more responsible group work, and get ready for new activity beginning in May-June. Conserve the first half of the year since you may have to use your resources to begin something new after August.
