Mercury is in Cancer from 5/28 to 8/4 and will be retrograde from June 17th until July 12th. Mercury in sensitive Cancer magnifies our emotions such as vulnerability, longing and nostalgia. These feelings will be even more potent during the time that Mercury is retrograde so be sure to be gentle with yourself and those around you as many will be feeling extra-sensitive at times.

So much has changed in our homes (ruled by Cancer) since COVID that it may now really be hitting you that things will never really be the same again. Some extra self-care and nurturing is likely needed as you may come to realize just how drained and/or weary you feel largely as a result of the uncertainty and stress of the last several months.

During the 3 weeks Mercury is retrograde take extra time to reflect and retreat while you reconsider your options, revisit your goals and basically regroup. This is a perfect time to do an emotional health check by asking such things as: What feelings are emerging that need my attention? How have my priorities changed? What message does my Higher Self have for me? These answers may provide you with some meaningful insights as to how the recent events have impacted you at deeper levels and where to go from here.

And as always when Mercury is retrograde, be sure to check and re-check your plans, backup your electronic devices (beforehand is best) and delay making major decisions or purchases if possible until Mercury turns direct mid-July.
