How To Wear Crystals To Boost Your Self Confidence

How To Wear Crystals To Boost Your Self Confidence

The use of crystals is an ancient practice that has recently grown in popularity as more and more young people have begun to honor their ancestor's traditions. In the past five years, Google inquiries regarding "crystal healing" and "crystal shops near me" have increased by roughly 35-45 %. As more people in the West rely on crystals for their metaphysical properties, there is one concern that is common amongst many of them: How can crystals help with low self-esteem?

Tiger's Eye

This fiery, yellow-golden stone is a favorite amongst many spiritualists for its beauty and its properties as a stress-aid. Associated with the lower three chakras, the root, sacral and solar plexus, tiger's eye is known to help relieve anxiety, dispel fears of intimacy, and most importantly boost confidence. This stone should be worn as a bracelet, preferably on the non-dominant hand, or as a necklace, during the waxing moon period, a period of growth and gain. Wearing a tiger's eye lower on the body as a lariat or pendant will especially help to feel its effects as it can better stimulate the solar plexus chakra.

Lapis Lazuli

Lapis Lazuli, meaning literally "blue stone," was revered for centuries by the Egyptians for its vibrance and was often worn by Egyptian royalty. Lapis helps to express oneself and to speak confidently. Someone struggling with a blocked throat chakra might benefit greatly from wearing a short necklace or choker of lapis, considering the stones' association with the throat chakra and truthful communication.

Amazonite

Amazonite is a bluish-green stone known for promoting a cleaner, more serene environment. Connected to the heart chakra, amazonite works to "plug" confidence and keep it from leaving the mind, helping the user to hold onto their self-image. Thus, amazonite is especially beneficial in tandem with other crystals like tiger's eye. This crystal is best worn as a bracelet on the left wrist due to the left hand's association with the heart chakra and absorbing energy. This unique stone has also been used in other well-known bracelet designs, such as the hermes bracelet. Needless to say, the sleek and elegant design of a hermes bracelet goes seamlessly with the humble yet elegant-looking amazonite.

Citrine

A champagne-yellow class of quartz, citrine is mostly used in crystal healing for its positive energy and relation to the sacral chakra and creativity. Citrine is known to aid in becoming more creative and developing a more joyous, optimistic mindset. Like a tiger's eye, this stone is best worn during the waxing moon period in order to promote growth and gain, and works best when worn on the pinky due to the pinky's connection to the sacral chakra.

A lot of crystals have been known to make the wearer a more confident, positive person, but not all of them are easily accessible. Fortunately, these four crystals are much easier to come by than some rarer stones. They can all be found at almost any local metaphysical shop and all over online stores like Etsy or Amazon.
