Message From The Angels – Appreciate Life, Celebrate Now

Message From The Angels – Appreciate Life, Celebrate Now

My dear friends, we love you so very much,

Give thanks for your daily lives. Give thanks for your food, your homes, and the kind people of this world.

Give thanks for the blankets on your bed, the air conditioners that keep you cool, and the heaters that warm your winters. Give thanks for the foods available to you, and the honey gifted to you by countless little bees. Give thanks for the trees that breathe your exhales and gift you back with the oxygen that keeps you alive.

For every one thing you find upon your Earth that is upsetting, there are thousands more things to celebrate.

As you shift from a culture of complaints to a culture of celebration, life will reveal so much more to celebrate. Try it for a moment. Look around and see how many things you can appreciate in the room or space you're in. Think about how many things there are to appreciate in your life. Appreciate the internet that brings you this message, the satellites that transmit it, and the thousands of people who worked to connect you in this fashion. Appreciate the chair upon which you sit, the beverage in your hand, and so much more.

If only a few of you began your mornings this way, emanating appreciation and celebration for life, the light upon this planet would dramatically increase. Appreciation brings more to appreciate. Celebration brings more to celebrate. Love, in any form, calls forth more love into many forms.

Dear ones, you can create magnificent lives simply by appreciating what you can find in each moment. You can turn illness around by appreciating what you can do rather than what you cannot. You can draw abundance to you by authentically appreciating and counting your blessings. You can bring greater love, better friendships, and new relationships into your life by looking for the good in the people already around you.

We aren't suggesting you lie and love things you don't love. We're not asking you to sugarcoat situations that are not pleasing. We're simply saying this: life is a huge buffet of people, experiences, and things from which to choose. Every situation has good and bad to find within it. Every person is a pot of soup with countless ingredients, some pleasing to you, and some not.

By all means, seek out the people, situations, and things that please you easily. But when you find yourself in less-than-desirable circumstances, challenge yourselves to look for the good you can find. Sometimes, the only way out is up—by elevating your vibration in whatever way you authentically can.

We know there are many things you would consider wrong with your world. There are catastrophic weather conditions, ideologies that flood you with fear, people that trigger your upset, and so much more. But there are also exquisite experiences of beauty, people doing amazing work of kindness, and a thousand simple pleasures you enjoy daily without usually even remembering the miracle that brings them into your lives.

We're not trying to talk you out of your feelings. But we are working with you to realize that there are things to celebrate—large and small—and that in doing so, you attune yourself to more of what is pleasing, beautiful, friendly, helpful, and desired.

You deserve that kinder reality, dear ones. You deserve to see good, feel good, and get the good out of life, no matter how challenging the present moment. There will be times when this is easy and times when it seems nearly impossible. Nonetheless, the Divine is present with you. Love is here and now—sometimes obviously, and sometimes quietly waiting to be found, felt, and enjoyed.

Seek the love within creation, and you will find more of it with each passing day.

God Bless You! We love you so very much.

Message from Ann

Hi Everyone,

I'm on the patio Thursday night, writing this. It's warm—over 100—but it's a dry heat, and I'm giving thanks because this summer has been far kinder, temperature-wise, than many recent years. Whereas last year we were melting in temperatures often above 115°F, this year there have been fewer days over 110, and I've been almost comfortable sitting outside at night.

It was an interesting week. I feel weirdly happy in spite of spendy repairs around the yard, family and friends going through a variety of challenges, and a pile of work that needs to be done. The extra work is going to have to wait. I just don't care to do right now. My heart calls me to the more fun projects in the evenings, and I trust that I will do what needs to be done in good timing.

It feels good to sit on the patio in silence and listen to the hum of airplanes in the sky and the chattering of the bird tribes. It feels good to be outside, even if it is a little warm. It feels good to have delicious food in the fridge and soothing tea to sip. It feels good to have creative outlets. I am counting my blessings.

I've seen the catastrophic floods in the news. Some were closer to home than others. I grew up in northern Virginia and still have family back east. They are all high and dry, thankfully, but areas we frequented when I was a child were underwater at the worst of it. Mother Nature isn't out to get us. She releases the pent-up energy humanity won't. We are part of her ecosystem.

It seems there have been a lot of releases of pent-up energy lately. Ever since mid-February, I've seen a wave of people clearing livers and gallbladders. They reported stomach challenges, skin rashes, and uncharacteristic emotional outbursts. The angels, cheerful as always, celebrated the release of what was once stewing silently within, happily pointing out that the junk stored in body and mind was better out than in—even if the releasing was unpleasant.

Lately, I've seen a wave of movement in people's lives. Folks who felt stuck, unmotivated, or unwilling to care for themselves are suddenly back in the saddle. People are reporting things suddenly moving in their lives, breakthroughs into new states of consciousness, and a deeper resolve to stop pleasing others and care for themselves. It happened right after the last round of massive solar flares.

It doesn't surprise me. Our sun is a very real entity, lighting and warming our universe, and when it throws more energy than usual our way, it interacts with our field—stirring up both the Earth's aura and our own, getting things moving. We see this in the brilliant display of aurora borealis, but can you imagine the movement within our own fields? No wonder we are shifting and changing. Some infusions of light are more subtle. Some are tangible in our 3D reality. If you ever feel strange, go to spaceweather.com and see what the sun is up to. We are inextricably interconnected with our star.

So if you've been cleansing and clearing, only to discover that now you really want change, grant yourself the grace to imagine the reality you want. Even if you haven't got a clue how to get where you want to go, sit and ask yourself, "How would it feel to be there?" Keep tuning into those feelings.

How would it feel to feel the presence of spirit more often? Imagine.

How would it feel to feel completely secure?

How would it feel to rest easy no matter what the world is doing?

How would it feel to be healthy and happy? Imagine.

Make it up if you have to. Reach for thoughts that feel good. Look at the things there are to appreciate. It may seem frivolous—we were told we had to figure out how to solve our problems. But we don't. We only have to attune ourselves to the feeling of the solution and then let the universe work its magic.

I sit here once a week, wondering what on Earth can be said that hasn't already been said since I started writing these newsletters 24 years ago. Like clockwork, week by week, I sit and have faith that the angels will come up with something useful for all of you, and that my life will come up with something to share. I feel the reality of that, even though my mind can often wander.

Before I start channeling the angels' message, I sit and imagine the satisfaction of connecting with all of you. I feel the good feelings of knowing there are so many of you on Earth who care about being kind and loving souls. I feel the privilege of having a comfy chair on the back patio and an elderly portable computer that still works quite well. I savor the cool water in the glass and the silence that begins to overcome the yard this time of night. The veggies in the garden have retired for the most part until fall, but the herbs are growing strong and releasing their wonderful scent. And the newsletter comes—as it always will.

So no matter what is going on, recalibrating to good isn't that hard if we take a moment, look for something to appreciate, and ponder the miracle of the smallest thing we can hold or see.  It is a simple exercise that removes you from the pain and plugs you back into the love, and that is one of the most simple and helpful things we can do for ourselves and the planet.

Here are a few ways to treasure the pleasures even in spite of the challenges in life:

1.  Actively look for things to appreciate

Sometimes life hands us goodness on the proverbial silver platter. Other times, we have to search for it. Make it a habit to scan often for things to appreciate. You never know what delicious thoughts might arise from the practice.

Just now, I see the green glass jars on the patio table filled with items from the yard, and it reminds me, strangely, of beach glass. Suddenly, I hear ocean waves in my mind, smell the salt water, and am transported.

I return and appreciate the green grass in the lawn. My toes begin to tingle as the grass transmits its aliveness and joy from the evening watering. I feel its happy moisture under my feet even though I have not moved.

I see the parched plants waiting for their watering and appreciate their strength and resilience. As I do, I feel my own body's strength and resilience too—because in the end, there is only one body of creation clothing the love that lies beneath.

Seemingly small bits of appreciation can take you into deep dives of deliciousness. And in spite of life's challenges, you will be elevated beyond them into a space of feeling the Divine love that always has your back.

2. Acknowledge your feelings before shifting

Our minds can be like a dog with a bone, unwilling to give up what we're chewing on until we acknowledge our ownfeelings. It is okay and honest to say, "I'm angry. I'm scared. I'm frustrated. I don't know if I'll ever feel good again."

You are where you are when you are. God's name wasn't given to Moses as "I wish I Am." It was simply "I AM." And whatever you are, you are.

Start there. And then appreciate yourself for persevering, for caring, for wanting more. You aren't rolling over and giving up—maybe temporarily—but there is something within you that you're in touch with that drives you to seek better. You wouldn't even be reading this newsletter if that weren't true.

Allow yourself to be. Accept yourself where you are. Give yourself a hug. Then look for one small thing that makes you feel better. This isn't about being false, fake, or sugarcoating you-know-what. It is about loving yourself through it all, and then looking at life's buffet for soothing, kindness, love, beauty, and whatever good you can see right here and now.

3. Surround yourself with things to appreciate

Years ago, a living Hindu saint I follow looked at me during a blessing and handed me a very small rock. As she placed the smooth stone in my hand, the message was conveyed: "I am who I am. I am love, and my presence lives in this body in front of you, but I live in all of creation too. In the smallest pebble and the grandest being—I am."

Never again could I look at anything, great or small, without feeling or sensing—or at least knowing—the invisible presence of love cloaked in the majestic and the mundane.

And while we can see the Divine in everything if we look hard enough, I like to surround myself with simple pleasures that make it easy! I have a stash of tea I enjoy. I have good coffee on hand. I have books with quotes that lift me up, andlists of things and thoughts that give me joy. I have rocks all over the house that connect me with nature, and playlists I love. I take time to simply think of the people in my life with gratitude and love.

The simple pleasures in life act like touchstones into the love that lives in all things. In so many ways, you can surround yourself with simple pleasures that bring you back to the love that sources creation. And even when the touchstones aren't present—even when the world is worked up and life seems unstable—you can still pause for a moment, find something to value or appreciate, and in that moment, tune into the eternal.

Lately, life has seemed more and more like the soul's adventure that it is. In my work helping people navigate both life and death, I feel the tender nature of life and treasure all I get to experience today even more dearly.

We will all meet up with our loved ones again. Someday, all of our challenges will fall away. Our pains and problems will leave us as we move back into the light. But how precious is this time on Earth, when we get to immerse ourselves deeply in the sensory and separate reality where we look at our true selves in countless forms, marveling at all that we, collectively, are.

How amazing it is to focus on what feels like love—and to see more of it appear.

I have so much to share in future newsletters. After writing this one, appreciating all of you, I don't feel at a loss for stories or words. Instead, I feel thousands of ideas emerging.

Where there is love and appreciation, there is an opening for more. When you tune into love in any form, you will see it in so many forms. The simplest opening to love allows more love to flood into your life.  It isn't that hard, in actuality, to tune into it. It just takes a willingness to give yourself permission, work against a few old habits and beliefs, and allow for life to be a little easier.

May you have a week of simple pleasures that spiral into greater joys.
Love,
Ann
