2020 Virgo Super New Moon

This Moon cycle is about Sacred Healing. Not just for two leggeds but for Mother Earth and all her Kingdoms. The west coast of Turtle Island is on FIRE. The eastern coastal Atlantic Ocean basin is churning with multiple tropical storms, some becoming potential hurricanes. And yes it is climate change but Mother Earth is also telling us we the two leggeds have to change from living unconsciously to living with awareness that all is sacred. The force of nature is feminine. Healing is feminine ancient wisdom. Virgo is Mutable Earth. Adaptability and change.

I have said before the sign of Virgo has been distorted and is now seen as analytical, critical, and a perfectionist. Her astrological key phrase is “I analyze”. But her true essence is “I heal mind, body, and spirit”. That is what this Virgo New Moon is offering us. Virgo is the sign associated with the digestive system. Pay attention to what you are hanging onto. Pay attention to how that blocks you from ease and flowing with life. Let it go. Pay attention to the information you are digesting. Does it serve your highest good and the highest good for all? If not change the channel. Breathe in a healing loving light and release all thoughts of anxiety and fear. Focus on the empty space between thoughts. That is where your peace is.

The Pisces Full Moon of Sept 02 activated the Tarot Constellation of The Hermit, introspection and personal integrity. Some people got the message and others continued to live the illusion and avoid the truth. This Virgo Moon cycle continues that theme. Virgo is the Hermit who holds a lighted torch illuminating the path ahead but is looking back at the past. Let it go. Focus on here and now and healing the here and now. The Fixed Star Spica is found on the astronomical constellation of Virgo. Her theme is gifts from the Goddess. Wanting to use ones talents for the greatest possible good.  Mercury will align with Spica Sept 24 and again in Nov.

This is a Super Moon as Luna is closer to Earth than usual. This Moon cycle takes us to Oct 16 which is the Libra New Moon (inner harmony and balance) which is also a Super Moon. Then we have a 3^rd the Scorpio Super New Moon of Nov13/14 (intense transformational times). And Dec 14 is the Sagittarius New Moon Eclipse. New Spiritual Vision. Like it or not change is on the agenda. Willingness to transform is required.

For this Virgo New Moon the planet Mercury (our thoughts and perceptions) guides us. He is currently at 17 degrees Libra (inner balance) squaring (finding new ways of doing things) Jupiter newly in direct motion at 17 degrees Capricorn (expansion of our Soul Purpose Path). Mercury will turn retrograde Oct 13 at 11 degrees Scorpio (healing and transformation) retrograde back into Libra Oct 27/28 and move direct Nov 03 at 25 degrees Libra aligning with Fixed Star Spica then re-enter Scorpio Nov 10. Expect relationship to be tested during this time. Especially because Mars Rx in Aries (self) will oppose (conflict) Mercury in Libra (other) on Sept 24. Pay attention to what comes up then. It will create the theme for relationship healing in the next three months. Breakthrough or breakdown. That includes the relationship to self.

At this Lunation the Sun and Moon are at 25 degrees Virgo and the Earth is at 25 degrees Pisces (asking us to cross the Rainbow Bridge of Healing into Wholeness). They are square the North Node at 24 degrees Gemini (healing duality and choosing to unite in love) and the South Node at 24 degrees Sagittarius (releasing judgement and prejudice of the past). This is a Mutable Grand Cross which asks us to choose Healing Love as our guide on this journey. Mutable asks us to let go and flow with life. The Moon in Virgo is in her Soul Centered home (Ancient Wisdom Teachings) and asks us to listen to the wisdom of our compassionate hearts.

The spiritual planetary guides who walk with us for this Moon Cycle are Chiron Rx at 07 degrees Aries (healing the wounded self) and Vesta at 15 degrees Leo (commitment to compassionate service). Venus at 12 degrees Leo (the compassionate heart) is travelling with Vesta and they are trined (removal of obstacles) by Chiron. The Universe always give us what we need to heal mind, body, and spirit.
