2023 Libra New Moon and Ring of Fire Solar Eclipse

Libra is the sign of partnership, mediation, co-operation, and diplomacy. It seeks balance, peace, and harmony. Given what is happening in the world right now all of these attributes are needing to be our focus. When we find inner balance and harmony we radiate that out into the world and peace is the result. Libra is found on the Tarot Constellation of The High Priestess, balanced judgment through intuitive awareness. The other energies found here are the Moon (inner knowing) and Pluto (cosmic wisdom). As the Moon crosses in front of the Sun at Eclipse time a ring of fire is created. This is creation energy and our intuitive guidance is radiating strongly. Pluto plays his part too. He just moved in direct motion on Oct 10 at 27 degrees Capricorn 53 and is square the Eclipse (motivation to transform the way we do things). This theme is also active for the next six months. Capricorn is the sign of society. Pluto has been in Capricorn since Jan 2008 (transformation of society). He will re-enter Aquarius on 20 Jan 2024 (cosmic consciousness). He was visiting the sign of the collective from Mar to June 2003 giving us an opportunity to transform and release past patterns that keep us stuck in old ways. Pluto is also currently square the Aries North Node (new beginnings) and the Libra South Node  (healing the past). We need to let go of what no longer serves us to make space for the new.

Mercury (our thoughts and perspectives) is at 17 degrees Libra 10 travelling with the Sun and Moon. Pallas Athene (Goddess of wisdom) is at 14 degrees Libra 09 activating Mercury to connect with inner knowing. The South Node at 24 degrees Libra 52 is also asking us to let go of the past. They are all guided by Venus at 05 degrees Virgo 02 (mind, body, spirit healing into wholeness). Venus is sextile (opportunities to create new ways of relating) Mars at 01 degrees Scorpio 44 (transformative action).  They are the relationship planets supporting us to heal and come into balance. Mars is the guide for Chiron Rx at 17 degrees Aries 31 (healing wounds of rejection and abandonment) the Earth at 21 degrees Aries 08  (healing the Earth) and the North Node at 24 degrees Aries 52 (inspired new beginnings). Mars is also trine (removal of obstacles) Saturn Rx at 00 degrees Pisces 52 (strong spiritual foundation). But there is a hidden factor. And it is Uranus the planet of expect the unexpected.

In Esoteric Astrology the planet Uranus is the Soul Centred ruler of Libra. He is currently Rx at 22 degrees Taurus 13 and inconjunct the New Moon Eclipse. He is asking us to let go of what is no longer of value  and break through to what is of true value and importance especially in relationship (Libra). Uranus is lightening striking to wake us up. He is guided by Venus (healing into wholeness) and is trine Pluto (transformation and rebirth). Uranus wants us all to wake up and remember we are all Cosmically Connected.  Embrace his gift. Out of chaos comes new beginnings.

Our Animal Totems for this Libra Eclipse journey  are Crow, sacred law and justice and fairness for all, and Raven, magic and The Mysteries. They guide you to find your sacred center and inner peace.
