Today Mercury adds its retrograde influence to the already deeply reflective space we have been moving through.  

Retrogrades offer us a time of reassessment and re-alignment where our focus is drawn inward.  They offer a time of pause where we are given space to revisit and revise as well as clarify what matters most.  The next few weeks will stimulate the fire of our inner creativity inviting us to reflect and refine how we express ourselves in our world.  As such, we can expect to gain clarity on what may be blocking the flow of our energy, creativity and the patterns of thought and feeling that limit our authentic expression and what we are being called to create and bring into form.  

With all the retrograding planets and the resulting shifs the incoming energies can feel somewhat heavy and dense.  In times of change the body often contracts in response which can create a feeling tension.  Currently, you may be feeling an inner pull or tightening both emotionally and energetically as the energies draw you deeper inward.  Be mindful that there are old beliefs, identities and strcutres being dismantled both internally and externally which can trigger a nervous system response.  Allow yourself to lean and surrender into the energetic releases that are unfolding.  Slow down while reminding yourself that whatever contraction or discomfort you are feeling is allowing your system to recalibrate and adjust.  Focus on grounding and centering yourself and acknowledge what is surfacing. 

Take a moment to focus on your breath.  Notice any contraction and or tension.  With each inhale breathe in spaciousness.  With each exhale send light into the tight places.  Do this for several minutes as often as you can to support your body and being.
