‘Eye of Light’

Eye of Light

Iolite - 3rd Eye Stones

I have been looking for this special stone, Iolite, for some time now and glad that these powerful stones have come to grace us with their teachings.

This stones opulent color-shifting quality is seen as a symbol of the ability to see beyond present illusions, restrictions and limitations. Like a late afternoon, dark winter sky, Iolite, lives with-in the shifting shades of life. This stone carries the spirit of passage, of dreams to come; it has the ability to birth intuition, exploration and illumination. Its surface resonates with the energy of twilight, a beautiful violet-blue Smokey light that excites the astral body to wake up and fly. This stone reveals realms beyond the usual waking consciousness; it is ideal for interdimensional work and inner visionary experiences; excellent for past & alternate-life release.

Iolite is used to help one connect with the soul. It will help one to understand who they are and why they are here. This stone is considered a persuasive stone for spiritual awakening; it is believed to enhance intuition, promote clear visions, and facilitate a deeper connection to the universe by opening and activating the third eye. Some believe that iolite can facilitate a stronger connection to the Divine, enabling a deeper transcendent experience.

Iolite helps in recovering ones inner balance, and helps those suffering from disorientation, confusion, lack of motivation, and distraction. When in the midst of adversity, Iolite helps to provide solutions quickly to seemingly insurmountable problems. It promotes a calm, positive state of mind, and instills Hope. It gives the emotional distance needed for a clearer perspective as it strengthens the resolve to take responsibility and carry on, providing endurance in adverse situations. It is excellent when used for the elimination of debt and taking responsibility in money management.

Eye of Light

Iolite restores a sense of perspective to those who feel they are ‘jinxed’, and inspires anyone with a frenzied life to start bringing order now in small applied ways. Iolite may be used to identify and release negative thought patterns or beliefs that hinder. Use Iolite to strengthen family dilemmas. Place in the living area if sibling rivalry or the presence of a new step-parent is causing a child to feel excluded. Use Iolite if family members have to high expectations of you. Iolite brings travelers safely home. Iolite aids in understanding and releasing the causes of addiction, allowing for the expression of one’s true self, freed from the addictions and expectations of others. It increases the capacity to move forward, and allows one to psychically examine one’s old wounds, as the most direct path to complete healing. It is a stone of ‘inner treasure hunting’, helping to uncover the ‘lost parts’ of oneself.
