Sirius Rising

Between July 22 and August 8, the helical rising of the star Sirius occurs, initiating a higher point of light within this solar month.

The solar light is the sum total of all consciousness that exists through all dimensions — holding within it the light of all souls, planets, stars, universes, and life itself.

This solar light is a living intelligence — the radiant force of universal love and creative power. On the morning of July 22, a powerful stellar alignment was once observed in ancient Egypt. Sirius would rise just before the Sun over the Nile in what is known as a helical rising.

The helical rising of a star occurs when it first becomes visible just before sunrise on the eastern horizon. Each day after its initial appearance, Sirius rises earlier and stays visible longer until it’s overtaken by the Sun’s light. (Note: exact rising dates vary by geographic location.)

The Dog Star Returns

Sirius is located in the constellation Canis Major, often referred to as the “Dog Star.” It is 20 times brighter than our Sun and twice as massive. Ancient Mystery Schools revered Sirius as the “Sun behind the Sun”.

In Atlantis, the spiritual mysteries were deeply connected to teachings from the Sirius Masters. After the third fall of Atlantis, these teachings found their way into ancient Egypt. By 3000 BC, Egyptians were already celebrating the helical rising of Sirius as the start of the New Year, coinciding with the flooding of the Nile during the season of Leo — the great lion.

This star has always served as a spiritual prototype for Earth, playing a crucial role in our planetary evolution.
