In a lifetime where you were conditioned to shut down, fit in, and find some shred of 'normalcy' in embodying the smallest version of you, the visceral feeling of expanding out of the smallest self and returning home to your natural state as the true infinite self is precisely what the grace of despair represents.

While it doesn’t feel good whenever despair shows up, the gifts it offers once you're aware of the necessary expansion in progress frees you from the tendency to defend against feelings that represent the reclaiming of your unlimited power. Because experiences often ebb and flow through a rhythm of polarity, the very sensations that depict your most disempowering states could only be the foreshadowing of greater power returning.
