Unmasking True Safety: A Guide to Inner Security

You find a temporary safe harbor in judgment.

Ego tells you that judgment can help you figure out the world, and it also tells you that it will keep you safe by giving you understanding about what seems to surround you. Now you can see that you don’t have to think or figure things out in the way you understood such things before. The safe harbor ego offers you in judgment is only a guarantee of further suffering. Once you see this, you no longer seek your safety there. You stay here, in the now, in the present, and allow what is truly here to guide you.

Temporary safety is not true safety. As you value your ability to feel, you know when you are trying to find safety in what is temporary. This is the purpose of feeling. The purpose of feeling is not to lead to judgments of ones and things that appear to be separate. The purpose of feeling is to help you become reliably aware of when you are leaning on the temporary for safety. We are here to light up the permanent to help you see that you and all are always held safely in what is permanent.

Aim toward the true safety that resides within everyone and everything you see, regardless of surface appearance. If your safety is everywhere, what have you to fear? If something appears unsafe on a surface, that lack of safety is the thinnest of veils over what is permanent and shining forever. Focus inward, and you will be guided in the way that is most appropriate and helpful for you and all.

When we say “aim toward true safety” we mean that you can relax into the remembrance of what true safety is, and you can allow everything to follow from that awareness. Everyone has this power now. Your true power is always shared, and this is what makes it benign and safe. The importance of relaxing into true safety makes itself apparent as you experience opportunity after opportunity to have your perception corrected.

When you don’t feel good, you are blocking your awareness of the true safety that resides within everyone and everything. Because you are the one holding blocks in place, you are the one who can fall out of being blocked. Allow resistance to slip from your grasp, and recognize what is truly here for you and all. When you see this, there is no bad news for anyone. Rest here, and you will be inspired by the fountain of loving inspiration that can flow for all.
