Life has been thrown into a cauldron demanding closer look at life since the pandemic put the world its grip in 2020. With the Libra full moon of 2021 we now have a great opportunity to see what is next in our professional, friendship and romantic relationships.

Every year the Libra full moon is a question to consider of whether or not we have harmony and balance in our relationships. This includes whether we are compromising our values in order to have others in our life.

The Libra full moon wants to create peaceful relationships and happy moments by sharing time with others exploring common artistic and social interest. However this full moon in Libra is opposite the Aries Sun exactly conjoined with Venus in Aries and Chiron in Aries- Ouch. This is intense.

This energy is about diving into the heart of who you are. It is about an honest exploration of your role in past relationships that didn’t measure up to expectations and the willingness to consider your part in creating that reality. It is not about placing blame or shame; it is about healing and cutting the chains of the past to be free to admit your deepest desire. From that purged state beautiful relationships emerge. This year the Libra full moon has such a strong message to develop first the relationship with self. Self-love and acceptance emerges from this Libra full moon.

The Planet Uranus is at 8 degrees of Taurus, while the sun at 8 degrees of Aries, Venus at 8 degrees of Aries, Chiron at 8 degrees of Aries, and Moon at 8 degrees of Libra. This resonance creates an instability, as if there is a rumbling underneath, such as a gurgling from an active volcano not sure if he wants to erupt or not, or the tarmac at an airport vibrating next to a jumbo jet revving its engine. One wonders if something is about to happen or take off with the relationships in your life.

In addition Mars is at 14 degrees of Gemini, which is on the node of Uranus bringing another why can’t I get to sleep vibe. Mars, the planet of defending and action, at this placement does not like to sit still. Be mindful of communication that is congruent with what you want as an outcome from the conversation. This full moon configuration with the mars placement has a tendency to spontaneously blurt out what has been bottled up from a plethora of past hurts not necessarily from the person you are speaking with. Once the words are out they have a life of their own.

Mercury the master of words is with Neptune. This combination mitigates the verbal sword Mars has picked up. Mercury with Neptune is wonderful for writing your feelings in your journal. It will take you gently on a path to unravel what is at the core of what, if anything, you want to fortify or change to establish loving and kind relationships in your life.
