New Moon in Cancer is Monday, July 17th at 12:31 PM Mountain Daylight Time.

This is a time to really focus on self and what you desire, and to embrace your emotions around what you are releasing and what is important to you as you move forward. It can be a bit of an emotional time; however you can use your emotions to ground and anchor new intentions as well as to release and forgive whatever may have been holding you back. It is also important to disconnect any mental attachments to regrets and disappointments from the past so they do not influence your ability to dream something different for yourself for the future.

The new moon is an excellent time to reset your container of self care, home environment and personal goals. This is more a time of personal focus that includes family, home and close community or tribe. What you anchor for yourself will have a ripple effect on the bigger picture. So keep it local. Think of this as the beginning of a new cycle. If you were to birth a new you and to mother and nurture yourself, what would that look like? There is potential for great healing around any issues regarding nurturing and the feminine so pay attention to what may trigger emotions related to your past experiences. Use this time to release and forgive and to anchor this container in a way that will support you in your evolution and growth. Clarity during this time will be intuitive and may give you a renewed sense or feeling of purpose.
