December begins with the stunning New Moon in Sagittarius!

In fact, we have three lunations in December (two of them new moons) signifying new directions – and strengthened particularly by the following code:

• The New Moon begins a new lunation cycle.
• December 1 is the first day of the month.
• December 2024 is an 11 Universal Month of double new beginnings.

At the same time, the Sun and Moon at 9° Sagittarius encourage release, culmination and endings.

Amazingly, Jupiter (ruler of Sagittarius) is in Gemini opposite to Mercury (ruler of Gemini) in Sagittarius – setting up a powerful mutual reception. Both planets are retrograde in each other’s sign.

Even more strikingly, the Sagittarius New Moon and Jupiter (ruler of the New Moon) create a powerful T-square to Saturn in Pisces.

• The timing of an important shift is indicated by any Jupiter-Saturn cycle.
