Aspects, Evolutionary Configurations, and More

This Full Moon Lunar eclipse will bring the Love of the New Moon into the Light of the Full Moon. There’s power, fulfillment, community, and regeneration coming as a result of what this “Shamanic Cosmic Recycler” eclipse will bring.

This Full Moon fulfills the Virgo New Moon themes, which means we’re now in process of squeezing out all that is unnecessary to move forward when Neptune and then Saturn return to Aries in early 2026. So you can consider this a “love, light, and power” eclipse which will help us in our future activities. Adjust to embrace the new while taking one last look back at our future dreams created in the past.

Evolutionary Configurations

This month we have 2 evolutionary configurations, both involving the Lunation. In no particular order, this month the configurations are:

1) The opposition of the Lights is cut by Pluto into a semisquare and sesquisquares, creating 3 points of a “Rhombus Diamond.” This is one of the special evolutionary configurations I gave you in this article about the Rhombus Diamond which works like a rectangle, but with a lot more frictional energy creating awareness which requires right inner and outer responses.

The Rhombus Diamond has an effect of generating friction of a “cutting, grinding, and polishing” nature. This configuration generates hot spots around 1-3 Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius, 14-18 Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces, and 29-30 Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. Whether a spur to action or purification, the void at 2 Leo offers that when the school is closed, it’s time to play, and that we can grow through “the inconveniences of life.”

2) The opposition of the lights is cut into a sextile and trine by Jupiter, bringing productivity and stability to planets we have in the middle degrees of the Earth and Water signs. This opens a favorable void 15-21 Capricorn, so get a plan and persevere in executing it.

Here we give a special nod to specific aspects. There are 3 different 7th harmonic “destiny producing” aspects in play. We have Mercury septile Jupiter, Sun biseptile Uranus, and Mars biseptile Pluto. These all bring “forks in the road of destiny” wherever they happen, where we have to decide crucial things which release possible futures accordingly.

Mercury at 11 Virgo septile Jupiter at 20 Cancer affects houses and planets we have in Gemini, Cancer, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces, opening up active zones around 18-22 Cancer, 9-13 Virgo, 1-5 Scorpio, 22-26 Sagittarius, 14-18 Aquarius, 5-9 Aries, and 26-30 Taurus. Sun biseptile Uranus affects planets and houses where we have Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Capricorn, and Aquarius, and opens up zones around 1-5 Gemini, 23-27 Cancer, 14-18 Virgo, 6-10 Scorpio, 27 Sagittarius-1 Capricorn, 19-23 Aquarius, and 10-14 Aries. As you can see, this creates a “tag team” so that when the first is done the second begins. The third aspect is Mars biseptile Pluto, affecting planets and houses where we have Aries, Libra, Scorpio, and Aquarius, opening zones around 19-23 Libra, 10-14 Sagittarius, 1-5 Aquarius, 23-27 Pisces, 15-19 Taurus, 6-10 Cancer, and 28 Leo-2 Virgo.

Major Aspects

Besides the various aspects I gave you related to the evolutionary configurations, forming (or partile separating) inner planet aspects include the Moon quincunx Venus and biquintile Mars; Mercury is quindecile Venus, conjunct the Sun, quadranovile Saturn, trielftile Uranus, and quadranovile Neptune; Venus is semisextile the Sun bielftile Mars, and sesquisquares Saturn; and the Sun is decile Mars and pentelftile Neptune.

Outer planet aspects include Mars square Jupiter and quadranovile both Saturn and Neptune; Jupiter is tredecile Saturn and Neptune; Saturn is sextile Uranus, conjunct Neptune, and sextile Pluto; Uranus is sextile Neptune and trine Pluto, and Neptune will be in close sextile most of this year.

Friction comes from 1 semisquare, 1 square, 2 sesquisquares, and 1 quincunx. Semisquares are internal friction at the beginning or end of a cycle, and to me represent the irritating metaphoric “grain of sand” in the oyster of our lives which creates a pearl or awareness.

Squares are integrative, while sesquisquares are interactive, annoying and/or agitating, but not necessarily crisis producing. The quincunx, represents an adjustment or sacrifice of some sort. Just remember to decrease aggravation when a frictional aspect is in play.

For those new to the craft, quintiles and biquintiles are 5th harmonic aspects, septiles and triseptiles are 7th harmonic aspects, noviles are 9th harmonic aspects, deciles (semi-quintiles) and tredeciles are 10th harmonic aspects. The elftile series are 11th harmonic aspects, the quindecile is a 15th harmonic aspect, and the vigintile is a 20th harmonic aspect. Each of these has a unique function in the phase relationship of the two planets in aspect.

The 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th harmonic aspects are specializing and bring forth partially or fully developed quintessential elements of the planets involved. The novile (9th harmonic), septile (7th harmonic) and elftile (11th harmonic) series all feature spiritual aspects. All novile series (9th harmonic) aspects represent entry or exit points of periods of gestation which can bring forth possible spiritual developments. These aspects indicate things which need to be put on the shelf for a while, or that which has been gestating can now move forward. They represent gestative energies that can lead to great spiritual realizations.

Septile series aspects represent forks in the road of destiny, where we make choices determining karmic future developments. This series is ruled by Saturn, where we create and fulfill karma by our choices during those phase shifts. The 11th harmonic elftile series aspects involve situations where there is a need to transcend and master some form of duality by making a leap of faith. In transcending those dualistic situations, dilemmas, challenges, and thinking, we resolve the problem and learn techniques of mastering those sorts of dualities in the future. This series tests our faith. Both the 7th and 11th series involve non-rational aspect values, bringing an element of irrationality in behavior and circumstances.

The various aspects in all these different harmonic series indicate points where the theme of the Whole Cycle becomes clear, whether through major developments or minor refinements in the process. Each aspect shows a phase relationship, specific to the special and unique circumstances of that particular Whole Cycle. It's how we can know when to work, when to play, when to create, when to imagine, when to have faith, and when to mobilize!

Element Balance

This Full Moon shows an imbalance in the elements. At this time, the traditional 10 planets show 3 planets in Water signs, 2 in Fire, 2 in Earth, and 3 in Air. This makes Air (Relatedness and Communications) and Water (Feelings and Experiencing Life on Deep Levels) slightly preponderant, with Fire (Inspiration and Light) and Earth (Practicality and Grounding) also balanced and slightly dimished.

Air and Earth are “cool” elements, while Fire and Water are “hot” elements. With this distribution, it’s perfectly balanced, with the Sun and Mercury providing the only Earth.

The current sequence at present of Deciding, Feeling, and Thinking

We’ve been through several different sequences over the past few months. There are six patterns, and each has their strengths and weaknesses. This Lunation begins a new sequence. For now, as a process of moving through events, the most effective “firing sequence” for approaching life and experience as our growth accelerates involves beginning activity with feeling, then thinking, and then making decisions.

This pattern initiates activity by feeling its way into ideas, perceptions, and information. Let your hunches lead to new knowledge. Then, after a new idea, vision, or understanding, then make a decision and act on it! Try not to overplan too far into the future. Take your feeling-knowing one step at a time, and keep things in balanced motion, even if they go all over the place at times.

Once we’ve made a decision and acted on it, then a new feeling will naturally arise showing the next thing to learn about, communicate, or understand. So feel, flow, and experience, since these will lead you to ideas and views that will in turn lead to the next decision.

This pattern is sensitive to others’ feelings, and when healthy usually offers a positive and encouraging take on things. It is said this pattern has the best “bedside manner,” and can be a good sounding board to bounce all kinds of things off of until everything’s been discussed and processed so that a clear decision can be made. This pattern offers us that the journey of a thousand miles is truly one step at a time.

So if you’re wondering what to do, reference your feelings from a place of objectivity and compassion. Once you have “retreated to compassion,” then find your vision or understanding you need to execute an action or make a decision.

If you’re wondering what to do, go to your feelings and sit with them. What are you experiencing which can help you feel what you need to know before you act? If you understand something but don’t know what to do, what are your feelings telling you that you must do? If your actions aren’t bringing you clarity, what internal feelings are blocking your vision? Let your feelings lead you to clear ideas which help you make decisions.

Saturn: Spiritual Master, Spiritual Friend

We are now taking one last look back as Saturn has slipped into the last degree of Pisces, meaning that we have been shown the future in June, July, and August, while the Autumn helps us finish the past. We learn compassion and forgiveness in Pisces, and got a glimpse of new directions which we’ll have to do in our own way beginning February.

Saturn, ruler of our Capricorn and Aquarius sectors and any planets we have in those signs, now helps us to a greater objectivity through humor. Jupiter, ruler of Saturn, is on a degree of festivity, so this should be a relatively enjoyable eclipse, with endings clearing the way to more light, love, and power!

Though Saturn can feel heavy and bring serious life lessons, it is the part of us which can take charge of our lives and destiny by using its strengths with understanding and wisdom. Our ability to steer our “ship of personality” into its “role of destiny” always brings us to new parts to play on the stage of Life.

Saturn makes favorable aspects to Uranus for many months to come, helping us blend understanding with originality. Summing it Up

Between now and the beginning of 2026, we are in a transition zone between “the end of the end and the beginning of the beginning.” The 2025 eclipses are already shutting down many things we cannot bring with us into the new Aries era already dawning.

Give up lesser things, or that which you haven’t used in a long time and may never use again. Be strong and loving as you let go, remembering that forgiving the past creates a void which allows Divine Grace to enter. Be open to the celebration of global Wisdom now poured out for all of us!

We are still developing through North Node in Pisces, so learn the flow, feel the larger spiritual field, and grow toward the Wisdom you’ve been glimpsing these past couple of years. With this position, we learn from Pisces, and show what we know in Virgo. Pisces has grace and faith, while Virgo is obedient to duty.

While the Summer helped us turn away from destructive vectors, we now get to shed what we can’t take with us into the future. This now begins a time of “final release” to clear the decks for 2026. Accept your power while also understanding that enlightenment is a verb rather than a noun. Pay no attention to the confusion, dread, or uncertainty as you do your own thing in your own unique way.

With each coming year, we’ll see definite movement away from the ideas which dominated the old 200 year Earth Era and see more of the emergent 200 year Air Era launched at the December 2020 Solstice. This transitional period requires that we ask questions related to our spiritual purpose, fearless as we are One with the World Soul and walk through the world but are not “of” the world. We have found inner strength the past five years, and learned the spiritual power of gratitude which brought assistance from Devas and Angels.

Forgiving much with compassion for the generic human condition, we are being released from all which doesn’t serve our momentum into our greater purpose. This is the heart of a global acceleration in transforming those who are part of a greater service and group work.

Embrace a new identity, a new love, a new spiritual awareness, and a new spiritual expression in grounded ways, so keep your mind and heart open and keep coordinating your body, feelings, and mind to demonstrate a stable and harmonized Soul energy. That's a great part to play as we dance through life's changes!

A Meditation on Light and Shadow

Because life seems to be a never-ending experience of out-breathing elements of the past and in-breathing elements of the new, it is useful to remember that when we are moving through major changes, and something new is introduced into our lives, it means that something else must leave, or has already left, to provide space for the new to be embraced. And lesser wisdom must give way to greater wisdom, and old forms give way to newer realities. As I’ve offered before “enlightenment” is a verb more than it is a noun.

While sometimes having to say goodbye to older, lesser ways of life can be a drag, it is important to remember that even though life can occasionally be painful, we do not have to suffer. And as we learn to break the link between pain and suffering, we heal our part of humanity and the world.

We are Light. All things are composed of Light in various frequencies that express as limitless forms. Some light frequencies are of greater density than others.

All shadows result from light hitting a dense object. Psychological shadows too. Therefore, it’s good to become as translucent and translucid as possible to dispel lurking shadows.

If you must look at and/or deal with shadows, whether your own or another’s, then refocus your Light on the object being illuminated, since that form is the source of the shadow.

Find the correct 4 angles of illuminating whatever you want to focus on, and all shadows will be dispelled. Then you’re seeing things with an illuminated mind, and can act accordingly.
