The Taurus Full Moon occurs on November 5th, 2025. If you are in the Central Time zone in the US, it will be at 7:19 AM.

The Taurus Full Moon represents stability, persistence, materialism, comfort and security. Though the sign of Taurus may gravitate towards luxury items, this is a practical Full Moon, one that may have you take inventory of your possessions, stocking up on non-perishables and winterizing your home. Long term staples such as beans, rice, whole grains are good purchases this week as well as frozen vegetables, canned tomatoes and spices. Knowing that those items are in your pantry, can make you feel more secure and are a practical use of your financial resources during these uncertain economic times.

The day before the Full Moon, Mars entered into the house of Sagittarius, joining with Mercury in the same sign. Though the conjunction isn’t exact until the 12th, when Mercury is in retrograde, we will still feel the impacts as they begin to apply their influence on each other now. Mars and Mercury conjunctions love a debate, and in the sign of Sagittarius, the themes could take on a speculative nature filled with judgment in regard to current events. But, there is also a sense of optimism, and some of the discussions could be about taking a risk for a better result. However, for the next week or so, be aware who you are tangling with when it comes to conversations and know when to keep quiet. Not every debate needs to be fought or won.

Meanwhile, Venus is at the apex of a T-square with Jupiter and Pluto. With Venus in its domicile in the sign of Libra and Jupiter in its exaltation in the sign of Cancer, you may be tempted to indulge in food, drink or a shopping spree. With Venus square to Pluto in Aquarius, you may want to ask yourself if your spending is due to some programming or a result of transformation and letting yourself enjoy life. If your budget allows for fun, then go for it but if you are escaping from some situation or not dealing with intense emotions, then spending money you don’t have can exacerbate the issues at hand. This is actually a fairly mild T-square for most people, as long as you stay within parameters that work for you and your wallet.

On a more constructive note, Jupiter is also trine to Saturn in retrograde in the sign of Pisces. This trine can help us to be productive, finding practical solutions for our issues (especially when we look to the past on what worked and what didn’t work.) We may feel quite protective, especially of those who are vulnerable or struggling. In the US, there is a possibility of resolution for the shutdown- though I don’t want to get your hopes up. This trine will take a while to do its magic and it may not get completely resolved until around Thanksgiving. However, there could be some stopgap measures put in place to help those that need it the most.

There is a transit that needs to be discussed, which is the Mars Opposition to Uranus, which is exact on the 4th of the month. This can lead to arguments and explosive behavior. There could be news reports of violence or rash, impulsive outbursts that come out of the blue. Much of the energy is a result of feeling restricted and not being able to make headway. This is why I mentioned above with the Mars and Mercury conjunction, that not every argument is worth pursuing. If you can step back from a heated situation, it would be best to do so. Even though Mercury is in retrograde, it is in an out of bounds declination along with Pluto. This means that there could be an unrestrictive tendency of bringing up past actions or saying things that undercut other people’s power.

Though there can be and most likely will be agitation, Mercury is trine to Neptune. Holding onto your hopes and dreams and envisioning a future that you want is possible. You could be sensitive to other people’s moods, which can make you either empathetic or defensive. Humility is the key here and understanding that no one, no matter how astute they may seem, has all of the answers. We are collectively in a time of flux, and the juxtaposition of edginess with dreaminess can help us to create something new. And though we tend to think of Full Moons as a completion of a cycle, our visions for what happens afterwards can be nurtured into fruition.

Just remember, the world isn’t exactly as we see it. In the fog of Neptune in Pisces, deception and illusion is almost over and we will gain more clarity when Neptune is in Aries in February 2026. As we revisit this energy, we have an opportunity to explore what humanity is at its core, complicated contradictions of love and fear. Which you choose to delve into is completely up to you.

Circling back to the Full Moon, this is a time to assess your values. You could be yearning for a simpler, less complicated life. Do you value your job, your relationships, your environment and yourself? Questions like this are good to reflect on, especially in November as we have Mercury, our thoughts and communication and Jupiter, our beliefs go into retrograde. Let this Full Moon illuminate your vision, and guide you to where you want to be. However, be grateful also for what you have now, since gratitude is one of the feelings that opens us to possibilities, such as not living the rat race which benefits a small minority of people.

With that said, I am currently in the Virgin Islands celebrating my 60th birthday. I lived on the island of St. Thomas from 1978 through 1982. Here with my sister, being in a place of nature, beauty and a slower pace of life, is amazing to say the least. However, I will not be doing horoscopes this time around, instead prioritizing being present and connected with my environment. I most likely will have horoscopes with the new moon in a couple of weeks. I hope you understand.
