Demonstration Expressed Through Accelerated Development-

As most of you know, the December 2020 Solstice conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn at 1 Aquarius launched new 20 and 200 year eras. This Christfest Full Moon distributes the Wesak Buddha Wisdom to the entire world. This year we see demonstrations on the horizon with a lot of need “to assume a part ahead of natural development.”

I’ll speak more about the bigger picture after the Sabian Symbols. For now, let’s take a closer look at this World Teacher Festival Full Moon happening at 12:44 am PDT on June 11 at 21 Gemini/Sagittarius which offers us a global wisdom to be spread through agitation, imitation, and the understanding that a new day has dawned with the need for action. This is a time to be open to celebrating the new global wisdom even as we see wreckage, restlessness, and the need to know when to stop and when to move forward.

As this Full Moon has Sun in Gemini and Moon in Sagittarius, the Light of externalizing ideas and information can be expressed in a wider vision and understanding. The light of social-emotional perception can now be expressed through abstract truths and broader views. This is the light of the Gemini need to learn and express what it finds through a Sagittarian freedom of understanding.

So welcome to the third of the "3 High Moons" of the Northern Hemispheric Spring. This Full Moon distributes the "Eternal Buddha Wisdom" to humanity. This particular “Buddha Wisdom” is in play for the year, and reminds us that if want to attract something new, we must often set aside the old. Open to the building strength of the new "direct action" era now dawning, and again, celebrate your awareness, your freedom, and your ability to participate in a global wisdom with millions of others around the world!

This Full Moon fulfills the themes of the previous New Moon, in this case the recent New Moon at 7 Gemini. Use faith in our perception and ability to find what we need to bring forth and live the wisdom of this Lunation. We have clarity and momentum, and with a strong Mars in Leo in this chart, be loving and let go of insecurities. What are your loyalties, and how can you express your tenderness with strength and grace?

As this Full Moon World Teaching has Sun in Gemini and Moon in Sagittarius, the Light of enjoying all there is to discover within and without in our spiritual life can be expressed through Sagittarius’ humor, sense of freedom, and a philosophical approach to whatever comes. This is the Light of a new “mind unbound” expressed through the adventure to come shown by the Moon.

Because Gemini/Sag is the axis of the archetype of the Magician/Questor, we can learn and teach, experiment, see things objectively, and perfect our spiritual understanding of both high and low. Just remember there are many alternatives to examine before making a crucial decision.

The Sun in Air and the Moon in Fire shows a time of the Mutable Air (distributive relatedness and interactivity) of Gemini expressing its curiosity through the Mutable Fire (distributive inspiration) of Sagittarius. This is the last in a run of Full Moons from October 2024 through June 2025 on the social and emotional levels in their signs.

At this time, 6 planets are in the first third of their signs, no planet is in the second third of their signs, and 4 planets are in the last third of their signs. This indicates a major emphasis in the actional-material and individual, mental, and spiritual field, with no emphasis on the social and emotional field except for the face of Gemini/Sag the Lunation occupies.

Why Are Full Moons So Important?

At a Full Moon, that which has opened since the previous New Moon surfaces in a public form, and heads toward the culmination and fruition symbolized by the second half of any cycle. First half, birth into form and field. Second half, culmination and completion of the purpose of that cycle.

That’s why it’s important to regard the New and Full Moon charts as “God’s Footprints in Time,” since one follows the other in an unending sequence of births of newer and newer seeds. The New Moons show us the seeds that will flourish under the reflected light of the Full Moon.

Full Moons heighten feelings, due to the opposition of the Moon and the Sun. We are now in a time of the year when the inner planets are in a many month run of making conjunctions with the outer planets. In this chart we have 2 forming oppositions, the Moon opposed the Sun and Jupiter (oos, or out of sign). These create “awareness generator” zones between 20 Gemini-2 Cancer and 20 Sag-2 Capricorn.

Dispositors - What's the Backdrop to the Energies?

The Sun is in Gemini, ruled by Mercury in Cancer, which is ruled by the Moon in Sagittarius. The Moon is in Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter in Cancer, which is ruled by the Moon. As you can see, the Moon and Jupiter are powerful in each other’s sign.

Besides the Lunation, Mercury in Cancer is ruled by the Moon. Venus in Taurus rules itself. Mars in Leo is ruled by the Sun in Gemini. Jupiter in Cancer is ruled by the Moon, Saturn in Aries is ruled by Mars, Uranus in Taurus is ruled by Venus, Neptune in Aries is ruled by Mars, and Pluto in Aquarius is ruled by Saturn. That means all the planets except Venus and Uranus are ruled by the “mutual reception” of The Moon and Jupiter, which is a powerful “closed circuit” of self-reinforcing energies.

By looking at how “chains of dispositors,” “final dispositors,” and “mutual reception” are in play between the planets, we get a clear picture of the backdrop for how each planet operates. The Magic of Venus: Friendships, Soul Mates, and Twin Flames

Venus is at 6 Taurus, the same degree both Mercury and Jupiter went SD at in 2023. It’s a degree of bridge building so we can get over a “gap in the landscape.” In Her home sign She is very strong and comfortable, and in this Lunation plays a powerful part in releasing strong energies of change, regeneration, and “breaking away” from the known and familiar.

The square to Pluto making it clear some things will end these next two weeks which are part of the global Wisdom we’re learning. Sometimes it’s more compassionate to say goodbye or turn a corner than perpetuate what we no longer like or value. See everything symbolically, and admire the differences rather than get into confrontations.

The Sabian Symbols for the Full Moon

This Full Moon falls at 21 Gemini and 21 Sagittarius. It is said that the third third (decan) of any sign deals with the individual, mental, and spiritual levels of life, and as the Lunation is in the third decan of those signs, invokes a sub-influence of Aquarius/Saturn (with an added dose of the Sun) and Leo/Sun (with an added dose of Saturn).

Since the Moon always focuses the light of the Sun in specific forms, the degree symbols for both are important. The Sun degree is the illumination or enlightenment of the Lunation, whereas the Moon shows us the potential forms that enlightenment will take. Though I’ve given you a sense of what this is about up to now, here’s where we go into detail.

The Solar degree symbol for the 21st degree of Gemini is "A labor demonstration.” In the original Jones class notes Dane Rudhyar published in The Astrology of Personality, he states this degree is about “the impetuous onsurge of natural instincts within the field of the conscious ego,” “blind struggle,” and “compelling power of fate.”

In The Astrological Mandala,, Rudhyar says this degree is about “the revolutionary impact of mental concepts upon the collective emotions and desires of man.” He offers that this works on the level of “collective responses,” and it’s about the arousal of images, slogans, and “an appetite for the abundance” others enjoy. He goes on to say this also applies “to the individual person in whom contrasting spheres of activity have taken shape as the result of the mind-based individualizing process.”

He continues “the organic functions make their collective demands upon the lordly intellect,” setting the stage for some sort of “revolution.” He say this “sets the stage for a tumultuous process, which may lead to a new approach to the problems resulting from individualization. The repressed or oppressed instincts stage an emotional outburst, claiming their due.” He states this is in the Span of Restlessness, and is the initial degree of the emotional-social level of Exteriorization in the Act of Differentiation.

Dr. Jones, creator of the Sabian Symbols, offers that this degree is a symbol of our "universally unimpeachable spirit” and our “realization that the lines of property and private rights which (we) find entrenched all around (us) are limitations without validity except as they constitute a social stewardship.” He offers “the fact that right and justice only prevail to the exact extent a conscious effort is made to establish and maintain them.”

He continues “Individuals and groups will prosper as they dramatize their own justification effectively. He offers the keyword is REPRESENTATION and states that when operating in a positive way, this symbol is “a consistent courage in attacking major problems at any cost of minor well-being or inconvenience.”

The Lunar Sabian Symbol for the 21st degree of Sagittarius is “A child and a dog with borrowed eyeglasses.” In the Astrology of Personality, where Rudhyar uses the original Dr. Jones' class notes on the symbols, he states this degree is about “usefulness of make-believe,” “rising to situations through the imagination,” and “assuming a part ahead of natural development.”

In The Astrological Mandala he states this degree is about “the use of imagination and make-believe in anticipating higher stages of development,” and offers that as we imitate a level of awareness we haven’t yet reached, “the process of growth may be accelerated.”

He speaks of “chiefs of primitive tribes” wearing western glasses and hats as hoping to impress their people by adopting objects belonging to those who were seen as superior. He continues that this is similar to identifying “with a ‘Master’ or guru,” and offers that as we wear “the mask of a god” we become “for all practical purposes the incarnation of the god.”

He concludes with a statement that “growth is a hierarchical process” whether we’re aware of it or not, and says this symbol “suggests the value of learning through imitation.” He states this symbol is in the Span of Detachment, the Act of Group-Integration, and is the initial degree in the emotional and social level of the Scene of Transference.

Dr. Marc E Jones, creator of the Sabian Symbols, says this is a degree of our “unimpeachably universal spirit, and of (our) realization that there are no absolute lines of demarcation between higher and lower life or between the varying stages of competence to be found in each.” He continues “Self-consciousness requires a supplementation of its capacities in the structures and material of each particular plane of being, and individuality develops as it enters into reality through its own characteristic modes of insight.”

He offers us the keyword EXAMINATION. He states that when operating in a positive manner, this degree is “an exceptional skill in the analysis of personal opportunity throughout the many dimensions of experience.”

So the specific theme of the Sun involves an emotional explosion, or a struggle of some sort. These will be expressed in some way by the Moon which allows us a greater access to our higher life and consciousness. Here we get to see something deeply meaningful to us emotionally or socially and express it in a way that it resembles other similar efforts. It could be said this puts the focus on “learning through imitation,” so find an expert and do it the way they do it!

We’re in an Era of Overlapping Capricorn and Aquarius Cycles

As you know by now, we had numerous important long wave conjunctions in January 2020 which were set into motion in March 2020, including a 12 year cycle and a 33 year cycle! Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto all made conjunctions in Capricorn in January and March 2020 which were activated by Mars in March 2020. Mars completed its run at its conjunction with Saturn at 1 Aquarius which also set long wave preliminary Aquarian structures into play which are expanding and currently taking shape for the next 16-17 years.

We’re seeing the competition between the Capricorn and Aquarian cycles play out in the world between the regressives and the progressives, between the forces of control and the forces which resist control, and between the materialists and the idealists. The Capricorn cycles will be in play for many years to come, but by mid-century they will wane while the Aquarian cycles will have become dominant.

That “Great Compression” of planets in early 2020 created a very crowded house in a narrow span of degrees, impacting where we have late Capricorn for many years to come. Add the three conjunctions of Jupiter with Pluto as it transited back and forth over the January and March degree points, and we’ve had a lot of long wave Pluto energies expanded which will show effects over the next decade! TransPluto, Divine Mother, and the Tests of Human Redemption

I’ve included this section for many years to keep you all aware of the workings of Divine Mother on our Earth in this Age in Transition. Rather than simply reprint it each month, I created this material as a separate article unto itself a while back. At the 2020 World Teacher Full Moon of Sun in Gemini and Moon in Sagittarius I gave you a universal prayer/meditation offered to us by the Tibetan Master D.K. in April 1945 at the end of the war. Tens of millions around the world do this prayer every Full Moon, tuning into the Whole which we ALL are together. I said it every day for many years, and still say it every Full Moon. (It was a real trip to see eyes suddenly open and/or lightbulbs go on over people’s heads when I did it countless times riding the NYC subways when I lived there in the early 80s!)

In 1976 I changed a few words to make it more universal. For your consideration,

The Great Invocation

From the point of Light within the mind of God
Let Light stream forth into the minds of All,
Let Light descend on Earth

From the point of Love within the heart of God
Let Love stream forth into the hearts of All
May Christ return to Earth

From the center where the Will of God is known
Let Purpose guide the little Wills of All
The Purpose which the Masters know and serve

From the center which we call the Human Race
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

Again, as I’ve offered you many times before, when you see the title "The Christ" if you are so inclined please substitute "World Teacher," "Bodhisattva," "Imam Madhi," "Krishna," “Kristos,” "Avalokiteshvara," "Maitreya," "Messiah," or any other term used to describe this Great Being. And if you substitute “Enlightened Ones” or “Wise Ones” for “Masters” I doubt it would offend anyone.
