Each year on or about July 25th, when the star anciently known as “Sepdet” (the “Dog Star”, also known as “Sirius”) rises over the pyramids on the Giza Plateau — the ancient Kemetic (Egyptian) New Year’s Day — a cosmic portal opens known as “The Lion’s Gate.”
This alignment of our Sun, Earth, and Sepdet causes a powerful acceleration of cosmic energy throughout our solar system. The solar orb is our “Material Sun”, while Sepdet is our “Spiritual Sun.”
Gateway of Power and Light
“Sepdet” is the brightest star in the night sky. The peak of the Lion’s Gate is August 8th (8/8), a symbolically potent date. Despite the differences in calendars—Gregorian, Julian, and the ancient Kemetic system—this alignment is observed annually and mystically holds deep significance.
In ancient Kemet, around July 25th, the “Hapi River” (Nile) would overflow, symbolizing a rich material and spiritual harvest.
Infinite Energy and Sacred Codes
The number “8” on its side represents infinity — the endless spiral of human experience across time. On August 8th, this energy heightens as sacred codes are released, available for those attuned to healing, protection, and higher knowledge.
This is a time to connect with SOURCE FREQUENCY and elevate your consciousness. On this day, light a white or gold candle and fragrant incense. Meditate by focusing your awareness on your heart center and surrounding it with LIGHT. Offer prayer for guidance in the months ahead.
After meditation, write down any visions or messages received. Their meanings may become clear later. Be patient and trust the divine process.
Weather permitting, meditate outdoors and gaze at the Sun beforehand, affirming: “I CONTINUALLY RECEIVE SOURCE LIGHT, AND EVERYTHING IS ALWAYS IN DIVINE ORDER.” Repeat this affirmation often.
Mantras and the Divine Trinity
For those using prayer malas, choose a special one and seed it with the mantra:
“AUM SRI MAHA NARAYANAYA” (“Oh Divine, I bow to the Holy Great Sustainer”).
This honors the sustaining force of the DIVINE ABSOLUTE — the Infinite Presence. This trinity includes:
- BRHAMA – the Expander
- NARAYANAYA (VISHNU) – the Sustainer
- SHIVA – the Transformer and Auspicious One
Calling on any of these aspects honors ONE SOURCE, not many gods. The belief in polytheism was a misunderstanding imposed by conquerors upon ancient civilizations.
Auspicious Alignments and Self-Leadership
During the Lion’s Gate, the Sun is in Tropical Leo (fire, leadership, ego) and Sidereal Cancer (water, nurturing, healing). This is a time to lead yourself and offer deep self-nurturance.
Planetary Shifts and Earth Changes
As the Lion’s Gate approaches, global weather becomes intense—earthquakes, floods, volcanic activity, and extreme heat. This is Earth’s cleansing process, beginning weeks prior. Physical, emotional, and mental symptoms arise due to dense, unresolved trauma being purged, making room for LIGHT to activate our evolution and a new timeline.
We are in spiritual labor, experiencing energetic “contractions” before our rebirth.
August 8: A Day of Manifestation
Take the day off if you can. Let August 8th be a full-day sacred experience. The Moon will be in Tropical Aquarius, conjunct Pluto—offering collective manifestation energy for LOVE, PEACE, ABUNDANCE, and HIGHER KNOWLEDGE.
Even mainstream scientists acknowledge Sirius’s powerful influence during this alignment. Share this knowledge far and wide so more people can benefit from its energies.
