Jupiter visits Libra- 09 Sept 2016- 7.18 am EDT to 10 Oct 2017- 9.21 am EDT

Jupiter is considered a social planet (Saturn is also in that category). It influences us personally but also universally in terms of the world. He is sometimes called the planet of luck and blessings. His job is to support growth and expansion of whatever we are focused on. But he also exaggerates what we experience so best to focus on what we want rather than what we do not want. On the material plane Jupiter has influence over banking (especially international) law (judges and lawyers) religion (of all kinds) and higher education (college and University). On the spiritual plane Jupiter influences our beliefs and philosophy of life. He encourages us to expand our Cosmic Consciousness.

Jupiter has a 12 year cycle as he travels through the Zodiac. The last time he visited Libra was Sept 2004 to Oct 2005. So you may find unresolved partnership issues from that time coming up to be transformed and released. While he is in Libra the focus is on partnership, both personal and business. Libra’s symbol is the scales of justice so that is an area in society that will be emphasized with this passage. Spiritually Libra is the mediator and peacemaker seeking fairness, balance, and harmony. Of course it will not be all light and fluffy during the next 13 months. That is just not our world at this time and there will be some challenging aspects between Uranus (breakdown or breakthrough) and Pluto (tearing down old structures that no longer work). Those begin to show themselves in Nov and Dec 2016 and also during 2017. But we do have a chance to create more balance in our own lives and that changes the energy in our world. Then the challenges are motivations to become the peaceful warrior. It is a realignment and revision square. The theme is what is true (what do I believe) what is not true (what do I believe that is not true) and what can never be true (letting go of illusion).
