The North Node of the Moon represents opportunities to move forward in new ways. The South Node represents the past challenges that we are wanting to leave behind. But it also is the strength and wisdom we have gained through overcoming those challenges. The Nodes have been in Cancer (NN) and Capricorn (SN) since Nov 2018. The theme has been mastering the emotions and stepping onto the Mystical Path (Cancer) and releasing wounds that have caused limitation and restriction (Capricorn). Well limitation and restriction is still on the agenda due to the continuing corona virus threat.

As the North Node enters Gemini freedom of expression, exploring new knowledge and sharing ideas, and the need to socialize will be dominant. It is already starting to happen as lockdown restrictions are beginning to be lifted in many parts of the world. Not sure that is such a good idea. But many people are not comfortable with the self-reflection that isolation creates. They need to be “out and about”. Gemini needs to socialize and communicate. The North Node asks us in our current pandemic to find new ways of doing that. The South Node in Sagittarius asks us to release prejudice, judgment, and righteousness and instead let ourselves be guided by our higher consciousness and wisdom.

The journey of the North Node in Gemini is guided by Mercury (our thoughts and perceptions). Mercury is currently in Taurus (what is of true value and importance) but will enter Gemini May 11 and will be there until May 28. Mercury in Gemini will increase the need to socialize. Be mindful to keep physical distancing until it is safe to interact. And remember whenever Mercury goes retrograde he will be asking us to do inner work. His next retrograde will be in Cancer (mastery through change) June 17/18 to July 12.  The Soul Centered ruler of this North Node journey is Venus (self-love and focusing on what is of true value). Venus is currently in Gemini (healing issues of duality) and will be retrograde May 13 to June 25 (review and revise our relationship vision). She remains in Gemini until Aug 07. The message is communicate with Loving Kindness. The South Node in Sagittarius is guided by Jupiter currently in Capricorn (expansion of our focus on our spiritual path). The Soul Centered guide is the Earth. She reminds us as we heal so does she.

Because the Nodes will be in Gemini/Sagittarius for such a lengthy time it is time to create our new story. Gemini’s Animal Totem guide is Deer, a call to new adventures, sensitivity, empathy, and loving kindness. The Sacred Totem for Gemini is Butterfly, transforming into our most beautiful self. The Animal Totem for Sagittarius is Elk, support of spiritual community (keeping physical distance in mind). The Sacred Totem is Owl, the wisdom to discern the truth. The Clan Mother guide for Gemini is Storyteller. She teaches us how to speak our truth without judging others or being self-righteous. For Sagittarius it is Gives Praise. She is the guardian of abundance and giving and receiving. She teaches us to be grateful for the truth. (The 13 Original Clan Mothers by Jamie Sams)

The Gemini North Node activates the 2nd Ray of Love/Wisdom with Archangels Jophiel creative power and inspired vision, and Constance Christine, the path of Illumination. The South Node in Sagittarius is active on the 4th Ray of conflict or harmony, the 5th Ray of knowledge and healing, and the 6th Ray of peace and love. Let us all be guided by Wisdom on the path ahead.

Namaste and blessings,

Dale
