2018 Uranus in Taurus square Mars in Aquarius- 18 Sept- 7.01 pm EDT

This is the third and final exact Fourth Quarter Square of the current Uranus/Mars cycle. These two planets are all about breakthrough. But the energy can also be disruptive. Mars is impulsive and often leaps before looking. Uranus has a reputation of being unpredictable. His motto is expect the unexpected. What this pair are supporting us to do is to revision (Fourth Quarter Square) our life path based on what is of true value and importance (Taurus). Then we can move forward (Mars in Aquarius) breaking free what no longer serves our life (Uranus in Taurus).

Uranus and Mars have an approximate 23 month cycle. The current cycle we are in began Feb 26, 2017 when they met at 21 degrees Aries. The theme for these two planets of change has been inspired new beginnings and embracing our authentic self (Aries). Actually that has been their focus since April 2011 when they first began their meetings in the sign of Aries. Imagine my surprise when I researched their cycles and realized that was a time of great change and exciting new beginnings in my life. In August that year when Mars and Uranus were in their First Quarter Square (decision, action, and breakthrough) and activating my natal Saturn in Cancer (home and foundation) our family made a huge move of residence after being in the same place for 24 years. New beginnings for sure.

Uranus spends 7 to 8 years in a sign so Mars and Uranus conjunct each other (creating a new cycle) multiple times in that sign.  Here are the dates for the Mars/Uranus meetings in Aries so you can track the potential for inspired new beginnings in your life. If you know your natal chart you will be able to identify what house is being activated and which planets. Also notice the last Mars/Uranus cycle in Aries that begins February 13, 2019 is at 29 degrees Aries. That is a completion degree.

• April 04, 2011- 01 degree Aries to March 23, 2013
• March 23, 2013- 08 degrees Aries to March 11, 2015
• March 11, 2015- 14 degrees Aries to February 26, 2017
• February 26, 2017- 21 degrees Aries to Feb 13, 2019
• February 13, 2019- 29 degrees Aries to January 20, 2021- 06 degrees Taurus

In the current Mars/Uranus cycle that began February 26, 2017 they entered their Fourth Quarter Phase on May 16, 2018. This is the revision and realignment Phase. It is identifying what is working and strengthening that foundation. It is identifying what is not working and asking can it be healed and transformed? The focus for the rest of the Fourth Quarter then becomes healing and transforming that issue. Uranus in Taurus is recognizing what is of true value and importance. Mars in Aquarius is identifying the healing gifts we have to share by allowing our Cosmic Consciousness to guide us. This Fourth Quarter Phase was exact May 16, Aug 01, and now Sept 18. But we are influenced by it until Mars/Uranus enter their Balsamic Phase (completion and release) on Dec 06, 2018 until their next new cycle that begins February 13, 2019.

Relationship is also in the Fourth Quarter Phase. Mars and Venus entered their Fourth Quarter in their current relationship cycle on Sept 08. Venus was at 29 degrees Libra (harmony in relationship) and Mars was at 29 degrees Capricorn (taking responsibility for your actions). On Sept 09 Venus entered Scorpio (deep healing) and on Sept 10 Mars entered Aquarius (Cosmic Guidance). They will only be in this revision and realignment Phase until Oct 12. Because Venus goes on her retrograde journey in Scorpio (healing the shadow) on Oct 05 her backward motion causes relationship to re-enter the Disseminating Phase (sharing your values and visions). Mars and Venus were in their Disseminating Phase July 27 to Sept 08. Now they will be in this Disseminating Phase until March 22, 2019 when they again enter their Fourth Quarter. Whatever you were experiencing July 27 to Sept 08 is back up for review. The current Mars/Venus new relationship cycle began in Virgo on Oct 05, 2017. The theme has been and continues to be Healing into Wholeness.

There are other energy shifts coming up in the next 3 months so the theme continues to be healing into wholeness. Equinox (balance) is Sept 22, Pluto moves direct Sept 30, Venus is retrograde Oct 05 to Nov 16, becoming Morning Star (warrior goddess) Oct 26 and Nov 06 the Nodes of the Moon shift from Leo/Aquarius to Cancer/Capricorn. Uranus Retrogrades back into Aries that same day, squares the Nodes and is the doorway to freedom. On Nov 28 Venus in Libra squares the Nodes (finding new ways of being in relationship). We will write more about these events in the coming weeks.

Just remember our life path is not about the destination it is about the journey.
