You are here to hold the Light. Your purpose is to bring Light into your Light Body and send it out into the world, as a conduit between beings in the higher realms and those who wish to hear the messages and feel the energy. Holding the Light embraces a conscious effort to maintain the integrity of your energetic signature, as you become more enlightened.

Is enlightenment a destination or a journey? Do you just reach a certain level and ascend from your physical form? These are the questions that spiritual seekers contemplate.

You live in the modern world. No matter how you view it, it is where you will complete your current physical life. You have a choice how to spend your time while you are here, determining what is important to you and what is not.

Decisions you make, define the energetic vibration and quality of your life. When you follow your spiritual path, you are in the flow of life, Light can flow freely to you and through you. As you proceed, your choices might change. The important thing is to be able to follow what calls to you, for that is your journey.

The more Light you integrate into your energetic body, the happier you will be. Happiness is an emotion, and all emotions are Light-level indicators. When you are happy, you are enlightened, filled with Light, no longer bogged down by the heavier things in life. You are in control of what happens to you, and you can create your own reality.

But, that only sounds attractive when things are going well. When they are not, you do not wish to think that you created roadblocks, after trying so hard to work on raising your vibration. Instead of blaming yourself, it is useful to stop and take time to assess the situation and consider what you might change to make things better, or what you can do to handle difficult situations for the highest good of all involved.

Disappointments are learning mechanisms, not failures. Challenges are sometimes part of your growth process. You may wonder, why certain things happen, and there are not always clear answers, but on some level, there is a reason. With that in mind, you can learn from each experience, move on, and consciously create your own reality in a positive way.

When you walk a path of enlightenment, things tend to go well. So how do you begin that journey? Can you truly become enlightened in the modern world, with all that you see happening around you? Of course, you can.

Enlightenment often conjures up visions of the Buddha sitting under a Bodhi tree, but this is an unachievable activity for most.

Enlightenment is an ongoing process, not a destination.

Wonderfully fantastic experiences are no longer only for those who lived in ancient times or faraway places. If that were the case, life would be exceedingly mundane. You can experience new ways of thinking, healing, and feeling that will change your reality.

You are a multidimensional being, simultaneously experiencing different vibrations. You are capable of many unique esoteric experiences, when you allow yourself to believe it is possible.
