It doesn’t take a psychologist to see why so many people are totally stressed out today. Our world is experiencing more chaos and confusion than it has in recent memory, or perhaps ever. The stress can take many forms: illness, broken relationships, anger, fear, depression. And the litany goes on.

People are frantic in their search for peace of mind. One place they search is the future. If they can know what the future holds, so their thinking goes, they might feel more ease and peace in the present.

I’ve noticed, in the private readings we do, more and more folks are asking my spirit guides to predict their futures. Yet I always tell them the guides will not do that. They will talk about potentials they see in the field of all possibilities. But each of us has the ability and the power to choose (deliberately or by default) what we will experience in the “future.”

As you know, linear time does not exist in the world of spirit. There is only the eternal now. But we, as humans living in the illusion of linear time, often get stuck in what we imagine to be the past or the future. And yet, all we really have is the present moment.

But that present moment itself can present challenges. The spirit guide Seth, as channeled by Jane Roberts, once said there was an alternate reality where World War 2 ended in a nuclear holocaust. Obviously, none of us—or our parents or grandparents—experienced that reality.

Time can be a challenging and confusing concept.

It’s time for all of you to become fully aware of who you are and why you are here.

If you are reading this, you are among the vanguard, if you will. You are one of those who decided to incarnate at this time on your planet to help those who are struggling with life, struggling and confused over what life is all about.

You are the way-showers, the light to enable others who are lost to find their way back home. This is a huge responsibility you have. Take it seriously, but also have fun with it.

In this way you will help to ensure a positive and powerful future for yourselves and for those who are lost and struggling.

The only surefire way to predict the future is to look at where you are now, in this present moment—not where you’ve been or where you think  you’re going.

You determine and create your future. You have all the power and wisdom within you to create the glorious future you want. No one else can give you that power and wisdom. And no one can take it away from you.

Your job is to help others realize they also have that power and wisdom.
