There Is No Such Thing As Death
Written by John Cali
Our title today is a direct quote from spiritual writer and adventurer Baird T. Spalding’s book, Life and Teaching of the Masters of the Far East.
A few weeks ago, I was traveling on a remote road in northern Montana. The only signs of human life were a few cars and an occasional ranch or farm.
With no warning, a bird flew into the path of my car. There was no way I could avoid it. The bird was hurled onto the side of the road. I felt so sad because I love all living creatures.
At that moment one of my spirit guides, Tamarra, came to me. She was the first guide I’d ever met, many years ago. She loves animals and has always given me good advice about them.
I was convinced the bird had only been badly injured, not killed, and was suffering a slow painful death on the roadside.
Tamarra assured me he (she used the male pronoun) had died instantly, and did not suffer. Then she said his angels came to guide him home.
The moment she said that, I had a vision of about a dozen angels. They were all radiantly white, and all had a bird’s body.
About an hour later and a bit farther down the road, I looked up at the sky to my left. There were 9 clouds there, all close together. (I counted them.) All were shaped like angels.
So I asked another of my spirit guides what that meant. All he said was “The angels are watching over you.”
Conclusion
So what can we gather from this little story? For me personally, it means, as our title says, there is no such thing as death, for any living creature, human or not. I’ve believed that all my life.
It also means, at least to me, we are forever in the care of the angels (spirit guides, God, the universe — use whatever word you like).

In this powerful video, Neale Donald Walsch tells us, “Death is a fiction. It doesn’t exist.” If you’ve ever mourned a loved one, or feared death, you’ll love Neale’s words.
In the early 1980s, John took a spiritual development course and was introduced to his first spirit guide, Lydia. After Lydia arrived, three other guides also came to him: Archangel Michael, Tamarra, and Chief Joseph. Today these are John’s four main guides. Besides his four main ones, John has various other guides. The entire group is really a multidimensional collective consciousness. John refers to the entire group simply as “Spirit.” Source
