Once everything within you grows calm and no more waves can be seen on the ocean of your soul, everything becomes clear and every question ends. Until that happens, you live your life, and with every new experience you draw closer to stillness, to wisdom, and to inner knowing.

What Counts Now

To attain enlightenment means to live, and to have lived – and there is no shortcut to it. What does exist is the shortest, most direct way: to live what is to be lived.

Beloved human, you occupy yourself with spirituality, you practice spiritual exercises, you take on a spiritual way of life, and sometimes you ask yourself: “Is that all?”

I say to you: that is all, once you have arrived. It is too little, if you bid farewell to the dreams of the ego too soon.

What counts is this: summon the courage and live your own things, live your meaning, live your task! Do not look at the neighbor's garden. Let what others do go unnoticed. Wherever someone tries to move you, let it mean nothing to you. What counts is to recognize your path, and to walk it with the strength of conviction.

You can only arrive at yourself after you have traveled the road to yourself. You can only find peace, calm and stillness within yourself once the longing for GOD has awakened and the world no longer holds any fascination over you.

Many become priests, gurus or masters before they have matured inwardly, and in doing so they sow confusion among people. Take the time, for yourselves, to truthfully determine what you want to live in this life. Take the time to get to the bottom of your own affairs. Take the time to work out the meaning of your life, so that you can lead your true life – instead of a life lived by proxy.

Where do you belong, and where are you expected? Find out, and live what you wish to experience and to realize! The world saves or loses itself, the human being saves or loses themselves – and you?

Do you always live according to other people's ideas, or do you stand in the middle of your own life, without giving weight to opinions or attention to critics? Has the inner revolution been set off – the revolution in which you transform the belittling of your own feelings and the mistreatment of your own wishes into appreciation for yourself?

Beloved human, today more than ever, a healthy sense of self matters, for only then can you make a real contribution to the transformation as a whole.
