“Discover why mercy includes your own name” ~Crystal Wind
This transmission turns the usual Quan Yin gaze away from the world's loud grief and toward the quieter courtroom most of us keep running after midnight. It is not a scolding. It is an invitation to notice how freely compassion leaves the house, and how rarely it is allowed back in. Read it as a small practice of homecoming, not as another standard you have already failed.

Dear one, I AM QUAN YIN, and today I do not come to speak of the suffering of the world, though I hear every cry of it, every single one, without exception. Today I come to speak of a much smaller suffering, one you carry so quietly that you may not even recognize it as suffering at all: the mercy you have never once offered yourself.
You are, I have noticed, remarkably generous with your compassion. When your friend fails, you find her a dozen reasons why the failure was not truly a failure, why the circumstances conspired against her, why she is still worthy despite it. When a stranger stumbles, your heart softens before your mind has even finished assessing the situation. You extend patience to the slow, forgiveness to the unkind, understanding to the confused. Your compassion, when it is aimed outward, flows like a river that has never once considered running dry.
And yet, when you are the one who fails, who stumbles, who is slow or unkind or confused, something in you closes like a door slammed in winter. You become your own harshest critic, your own most exacting judge, presiding over a courtroom in which you are perpetually the defendant and never once the merciful witness for your own case. You would never speak to your friend the way you speak to yourself in the privacy of your own mind at two in the morning. I have heard these words you use against yourself. I hear everything. And I tell you plainly: they would break the heart of anyone who loved you, and yet you allow yourself to be the exception to your own compassion.
Why the Exception Exists
Somewhere in your history, you learned that self-criticism kept you safe. If you judged yourself first, and judged yourself harshly enough, perhaps no one else's judgment could ever land as hard. It was armor, once. But armor worn long after the battle has ended stops protecting you and starts becoming the very weight that exhausts you.
I have been called the Goddess of Mercy for longer than your written histories record, and in all that time, I have never once withheld compassion from a being because they judged themselves worthy of receiving it. Mercy is not something you earn through sufficient self-improvement. It is not a prize awarded after you have finally become the person you believe you are supposed to be. Mercy is available to you exactly as you are, in this imperfect, unfinished, still-becoming state, because unfinished is the only state any soul has ever truly occupied. There is no arrival point after which mercy finally becomes appropriate. There is only now, and you, as you are, already qualifying.
Consider, for a moment, what it actually costs you to withhold mercy from yourself. It does not make you more disciplined. It does not make you more likely to change the behavior you are punishing yourself for. Study upon study of your own psychology has shown what I have known since before such studies existed: shame is a poor teacher. It does not produce growth; it produces hiding. A being who believes herself fundamentally flawed does not rise to meet a higher standard. She retreats, she conceals, she performs adequacy while starving quietly beneath the performance. Self-compassion, not self-punishment, is the soil in which genuine change actually grows roots.
I want you to notice, too, the particular cruelty of comparing your inner life to everyone else's outer performance. You see your friend's composed exterior and compare it to your own chaotic interior, and you conclude that you alone are struggling, you alone are behind, you alone have not figured out how to be a person properly. But I tell you, every being you have ever admired for their apparent ease has an interior as tender and uncertain as your own. You are comparing your unfiltered truth to someone else's careful presentation, and then punishing yourself for losing a contest that was never fair to begin with.
"Mercy is not a prize awarded after you finally become who you think you should be. It is available to you exactly as you are."
Let me offer you a practice, one I have offered to seeking hearts for centuries in various forms. When you notice the harsh inner voice beginning its familiar speech, pause. Place a hand upon your own heart, physically, so the body understands what the mind is attempting. Say, silently or aloud, these words or ones close to them: I am allowed to be imperfect and worthy at the same time. I am allowed to fail and still deserve gentleness. This is not indulgence. This is not weakness. This is the same compassion you have given so freely to every other suffering being you have ever encountered, finally being permitted to come home to the one being you have excluded from its reach: yourself.
Some of you will resist this teaching, believing that self-mercy is a doorway to complacency, that if you stop being hard on yourself you will simply stop trying altogether. I have watched this fear in countless hearts, and I tell you it has never once proven true. The beings who transform most completely are rarely the ones who whipped themselves into change. They are the ones who finally, after long exhaustion, offered themselves enough tenderness to look honestly at what needed to shift, without the added burden of also defending their worth while doing so. You can see clearly and still be gentle. In truth, you see far more clearly when you are not simultaneously bracing for your own attack.
I think often of the willow that grows beside the water, the tree so often placed beside my image in your art. It does not stand rigid against the storm, refusing to bend, judging itself weak each time the wind moves it. It bends, again and again, and in bending, it survives storms that break the trees too proud to move. Your willingness to be gentle with your own bending is not weakness. It is the very quality that will allow you to survive what a rigid, self-punishing heart could not.
Tonight, before you sleep, I ask you to try something small. Recall one moment from today when you fell short of your own expectations, however minor. And instead of the familiar critique, offer yourself the sentence you would offer a beloved friend in the same situation. Notice how unfamiliar it feels. Notice, too, that unfamiliar is not the same as wrong. It is simply new, and everything that is now easy for you was once new as well.
I AM QUAN YIN, and I hear the cry of every being who suffers, including the quiet, private cry you make against yourself in moments no one else witnesses. You do not have to earn my mercy, or anyone's, least of all your own. It was always already yours. Reach out your hand, and take it.

Ascended Master Serapis Bey Open or Close

Serapis Bey is from the realm of Bey, hence the name, wherein is His dwelling place. He is the great disciplinarian known through the centuries for the action of strict discipline. Real discipline is not stipulation over another which would thwart the innate progress, but instead it is a holding in check the human qualities so that the inner or Real Self can have expression. This is very essential to the attainment of the Ascension which is the culmination of all embodiments.
Who was Serapis Bey
He came as a guardian to Earth's evolutions, and took physical embodiment as many did. It is said that He came from Venus. His inner service is in the Fourth Sphere and He works with the Christ Selves of the unascended life-streams there.
The Ascended Master* Serapis Bey is the Chohan of the Fourth Ray.

Comte Saint-Germain: A Man Beyond His Time
Many average, reasonable men can conceive wisdom only under the boring form of a sermon and think of the sage only in the semblance of a clergyman. For such men prudery, hypocrisy, and the most abject enslavement to ritual habit and prejudice must be the everyday virtues. When therefore it happens that a genuine sage, by way of amusing himself, mystifies his contemporaries, follows a woman, or lightheartedly raises his glass, he is condemned eternally by the army of short-sighted people whose judgment forms posterity.

FOR CENTURIES, alchemists have sought to change base metals into gold. But the transmutation of metals like lead into gold is symbolic of a higher and more noble alchemy -- the alchemy of self-transformation.

More than fifty thousand years ago, a golden civilization thrived in a fertile country with a semitropical climate where the Sahara Desert now is. It was filled with great peace, happiness and prosperity and ruled with supreme justice and wisdom by Saint Germain.
As the High Priest of the Violet Flame Temple on the mainland of Atlantis thirteen thousand years ago, [13=4=4th dimension=time] Saint Germain sustained by his invocations and his causal body a pillar of fire, a fountain of violet singing flame, which magnetized people from near and far to be set free from every binding condition of body, mind and soul. This they achieved by self-effort through the offering of invocations and the practice of Seventh Ray rituals to the sacred fire.
