“Discover how peace skips the argument” ~Crystal Wind
The angels draw a clean line between criticizing another view and simply choosing what is right for you. Ann then walks through tailgaters, YouTube ads, weather arguments, and three-step boundaries to show how peace arrives when you stop needing agreement.

My dear friends, we love you so very much,
You are all one family. What is done to one is done to all. If you bruise your finger, the body feels the pain. If the heart were to insist that another organ be more like it, the entire system would be thrown off balance.
And while you came willingly into a world of contrast, you never intended to make another wrong in order to make yourselves right. You intended to explore the various realities, choose what resonated with you, and create from that understanding of your own unique perspective.
To criticize another’s point of view is similar to the right hand slapping the left, or vice versa. You gain nothing by putting others’ perspectives down. You gain everything by figuring out what is right for yourself. And what is right for each one of you is always born from a loving desire to experience your life in a loving way. Your deepest truths, those which are the most “right” for you, will always be rooted in love and, more specifically, how you wish to experience and express love in your world.
And here is where humanity has a challenge, because what is right for you may not be right for someone else, and vice versa. How many times have you listened to an “expert” tell you what you should be eating? Perhaps you tried this diet or that. How many of those resonated with you? Even if you find a system that feels mostly right for you, there will be exceptions that are unique to your tastes, your body, your culture, and your life.
There are many times when you will have to say “no” to another or another’s beliefs in order to honestly say “yes” to yourself. This is not a statement of right or wrong about the other person. It is simply an understanding of what is right for yourself. And the Divine has an infinite ability to satisfy the needs and desires of all involved, no matter who agrees or not.
For example, perhaps you have a boss, coworker, or family member who deeply desires attention. They talk about themselves often. They interrupt your day. They insist on having their way. You want peace and quiet. These desires seem to conflict. Their truth is that they want people to listen. Your truth is you don’t want to listen. If you can simply choose to be right for yourself, they would be guided in other directions that are more satisfying to them. Perhaps you find ways to be elsewhere. Perhaps you kindly tell them you have to work or need quiet time. Perhaps you close a door. By saying yes to yourself, in this case, you are indeed saying “no” to them. But the story never ends with one interaction. There is a whole universe of people that can be matched up with every desire. There are those who are lonely and who want others’ opinions who would find this talker fascinating. By you saying yes to your truth, they are given the opportunity to find a more compatible connection with others.
Some of you have been available for people who like to complain, who are afraid to venture out into the world, or who refuse to get the proper help. You start to feel resentful and upset because your truth is that you’d like to help those who help themselves, or you’d like to create time for your own interests. When you honor your truth and either find things to love about them and gently steer the conversation in kinder directions or, that failing, become less available for these unproductive conversations, then the other will be steered into a deeper truth. Maybe it is time for them to handle their complaints. Or, perhaps they’ll be matched up with someone who needs to be needed, or one who loves to be an empathic listener. In all cases, the universe is masterful at finding a vibrational match for all desires. As you honor your truth, you will be instrumental in nudging another closer to theirs.
If you keep your hearts rooted in love, dear ones, you will serve the souls of all involved. No one ever wins a battle of egos. The spirit of the Divine who lives in all things and all beings wants to guide each of you in kindness, grace, and harmony. No one else needs to lose in order for you to be happy and have what you want.
Suppose you want the last piece of cake. You might say to us, well, if I get what I want, someone else won’t. If they get the cake, I will not have it. But our answer would be simple. Do what feels like love and know there are other cakes, other delights, and other paths to be guided upon. What do you really want? A little sweetness, a little acknowledgment, or perhaps you could cut the piece in half and have both the sweetness and the satisfaction of sharing love?
There are areas on your Earth that have been battled over for centuries. The Creator sees no difference between human beings of different creeds or cultures. The Creator sees no borders upon your Earth. Instead, there is one Earth, one human race, and one spirit of love trying to arise within all beings. In touch with love and guidance, solutions are possible that reach far beyond the human ego, beyond fear, and serve all souls’ desire for loving harmony.
While spouses in a divorce battle over bank accounts, the Creator sees no lack of abundance for either. Love can guide each on a kinder path.
There are ideologies that seem to clash without room for agreement. The Divine sees beneath the apparent issues to what is really going on in human hearts and how to solve it.
And while you cannot individually resolve global and national battles, you can cease the battles within your own lives, communities, families, and minds by surrendering to love and by nurturing your connection with the Creator. You can put loving ripples in the pond of human consciousness rather than feeding vibrations of division.
Next time someone wants to argue or force you to agree with their point of view, simply listen. Acknowledge their perspective. If you wish, kindly ask them if they would be willing to listen to an alternative view. If not, let them have their beliefs, but live according to your own. You don’t need agreement to be right for yourself.
One word, one thought, one conversation at a time, you become a more peaceful person, inspiring more peaceful relationships, and demonstrating how you can live your own life without the need for battles. And when others want to battle with you, go back to the Divine, in whom you can rest in peace even in the most difficult of human circumstances.
You have choice, dear ones. Align with love. Align with peace. Align with harmony. Even if you are around those who are not in these spaces, you—in connection with the Divine—can usher in a kinder and more loving reality, one moment, one person, one conversation, and one circle at a time.
God Bless You! We love you so very much.
-- The Angels

Message from Ann...
Hi Everyone,
I had a friend years ago whose grandmother was a very wise woman. She left us with pearls of wisdom, one of which reminds me of today’s angel message:
"There are two ways in town to build the tallest building. You can build your own, or you can knock others down."
And there are two ways to feel right in the world—make everyone else wrong, or just figure out what is right for yourself. We waste time making others wrong, or defending and justifying our own opinions. It is far more productive to simply live according to the loving principles and practices we know work in our own lives. Needing agreement from others is a mask for insecurity. When we know something is good for us, we don’t need agreement. We know what we know.
I used to get furious with drivers who tailgated me, driving so close I could see their eyes in my rear view mirror. I felt that any lapse in their judgment would surely result in my own suffering. One day, while driving, I was fuming about the driver behind me when the angels popped into my head. They seemed very lighthearted as usual. “Why are you so angry? It’s a beautiful day!” It was a beautiful day, but I wasn’t focused on that. I was busy watching the person driving 75 mph, way too close to my back bumper. I answered the angels, still gripping the wheel. “That person is dangerously close!”
“True, but why are you so angry?” they persisted. “He could kill me!” I retorted, a little too quickly. Kindly, they brought me back to truth. “So you’ve made him your God instead of trusting the Creator to keep you alive?” Darn. They were right. Again. We chatted a bit more. They suggested I keep a loose gaze on the other drivers as I always do, enjoy the view, enjoy my music, and enjoy the day, trusting that my God-given instincts would guide me if I needed to speed up or change lanes. I have had that experience before when a force greater than myself drove with or for me. So, I put on my good music, sang along, and enjoyed the view. The car behind me, somehow perceiving my lack of attention, raced around me. Problem solved. I didn’t have to make those I considered to be “crazy” drivers wrong to be right in my desire to live.
The angels remind me frequently that when our actions match our soulful, loving beliefs, we feel good, but if there is any misalignment between the two, we’ll feel like something is “off.” Suppose you tell yourself, “I should exercise,” but you can’t make yourself do it. You have a true desire to be healthy and active, but every time you try to go to the gym, you feel resistance. Take a step back. Dig deeper. Do you really want to go to the gym, or do you think you should because everyone else says that’s the right way to get “fit”? Chances are, you’re trying to force yourself to fit others’ beliefs about how to get fit.
Instead, you can surrender to your desire to move and be healthy, stop fighting yourself, and wait for guidance. You may suddenly feel like walking the dog every morning. A friend might ask you to play pickleball. You may hear a good song that reminds you that you like to dance. For every desire, there is a “right” way to fulfill it that is perfect for you. We don’t need agreement. We don’t need to justify our choices. We don’t need to do it as others say we should. We can feel what is loving and right for us, and just do it.
More often than we’d like to admit, we slip into justifying or defending our perspectives. We can easily catch ourselves making others wrong in order to feel right.
I caught myself talking back to an advertisement on YouTube the other night! It was trying to convince me of my decline after the age of 50. I became furious! “That’s NOT my reality!” I defended my perspective to no one in particular. The vehement reaction caught me by surprise. Did I really need to defend my beliefs to a TV that didn’t care? Why couldn’t I just peacefully own my own truth?
Ends up, I had a slight fear that listening to these things could brainwash my body into getting sick. The angels teased me. “You just forgot that you’re in charge of your body.” True story. The next time a commercial like this came on, I just muted it. I want the peace that comes from letting me be me, and others be who they choose to be.
On the flip side, there have been many times when I’ve shared my perspective with another, only to have them argue and try to convince me I was wrong. In these cases, I now remain silent and listen and simply say something loving, like, “I’m glad you found a way that works for you.” That’s true. And I’ll keep being me.
Here are a few ways you can be right for yourself, without making others wrong, thus being a peacemaker in your daily life...
1. Take a breath and count to ten
This advice is old as the hills for a reason. It works. A simple breath and a count to ten help you avoid an initial reaction. They help you decide how you will respond rather than being hijacked by your conditioned reactions. You even use a different area of the brain to make choices when you settle down and respond, rather than react.
A deep breath and a few seconds before reacting could be the difference between an unpleasant conversation vs. a deeper connection, or the difference between distraction and guidance. I’ve talked to more than a few people in heaven who left the planet because they were brewing over an argument, not paying attention to the road, and had an accident. It is far kinder, and safer, to live in peace.
2. Resolve that you’d rather be happy than right.
You’ve heard this statement before too, and for good reason. It feels better to be happy than to have the hollow victory of winning an argument.
I was once hiking with a boyfriend. I looked at the sky and saw a cloud expanding rapidly. “It’s going to pour on us,” I said. “Do you want to turn back?” I knew what I knew. He immediately corrected me. He explained how he had hiked for years and could read weather patterns and why this cloud would dissipate. All I could think was “Wait for it...” I smiled to myself and said nothing but, “OK, let’s keep going.” A little rain wouldn’t melt me.
Fifteen minutes later, the cloud, which had become big and black, opened up and pelted us with raindrops as big as peas. Soaking wet, he grinned. “I guess I needed to learn a little humility!” I restrained a giggle. It was humorous! There are times, like these, when I know I’m factually correct, but arguing the point isn’t worth it.
There are other times when I know I could help another, but they don’t want what I recommend or the help I offer. So I offer once, and then let go. I suggest once, then move along. I don’t push because I’d rather be loving, supportive of their path, and happy vs. being right. Everyone chooses the path that resonates with them and learns from it.
And what about when others push a belief at you? I listen politely, say thank you, and then do my own thing. Last time this happened, the person in question later asked if I had followed their advice. “No, I had to be me,” I answered kindly. No justification. No explanation. No defense. Just peace.
It feels far better to be happy than to try to convince someone you are “right.”
3. Own your boundaries rather than talking about them.
We spend a lot of energy trying to make others agree with our boundaries rather than simply living them. A boundary is not a threat, nor an ultimatum. It needs no justification or defense. It’s a simple and kind understanding of how you will respond to life and others: “If you do X, I’m going to do Y.” It can be stated with love and kindness. Animals have boundaries without apology. The entire natural world understands them. Dogs bark, cats hiss, some trees put out extra sap to defend against bugs, etc. We’re allowed to have our boundaries too.
I have a three-step policy with my own boundaries. The first time I have to explain a boundary, I do so kindly; the second time, more firmly; and the third time, I just enact it without explanation. For example, 1) I’d prefer not to argue with you, so let’s talk about something else. 2) I’m not going to argue with you. 3) Silence. This works for me. You can figure out what works for you.
The angels like to talk about it this way:
Judgment says, “No right to be.”
Discernment says, “Not right for me.”
It is a fine line, but we can exercise our discernment without having to make others wrong.
I pray daily that humanity finds a path to peace, first inside each individual, and then with one another. It may not happen during my lifetime, but one person, one choice, one conversation at a time, we can be that peace. It starts inside, one person, one choice at a time.
Have a blessed week,
Love,
Ann
