I was talking to a dear friend I have known for decades, a psychologist for many years, who has headed up many organizations in his field. and he shared that he is enjoying many creative projects and classes at the local university, and his husband Is also active in many political and social organizations and projects, and working with others to bring more awareness to the planet.

I am tickled to see them so involved and doing things that contribute to the world.  In fact among many other things, like helping to promote equality for the LGBTQ community, Sam’s husband Tom had worked closely alongside Hillary Clinton in her campaign for Presidency.

Needless to say I am proud of my dear friends.

And I am proud of those of us on the forefront of the ascension ‘project.’   What we are doing is a bit different, isn’t it?   We are making changes from the inside out which is one of the hardest things a human will ever have to do.

We are changing consciousness as it has been known for…ever, really.

Dismantling everything we have lived and believed and introducing the part of us that has been in shadow for a very long time.   Our soul.  And sometimes it doesn’t feel real, because the rest of the planet doesn’t recognize their own soul to the degree we are.

So it does no good to compare ourselves with what the rest of humanity is doing at this time.  Or to expect them to acknowledge or recognize us for what we are doing.

Admittedly, that can render us feeling ‘out in the cold’ and at times bored and a little lonely for the face to face comraderie that others enjoy.

The doesn’t mean we can’t get involved in whatever group, project or organization that we want to, and share who we are on that level.  There are no rules and whatever brings us joy is our path.

But many of us feel that our real work is to go through this major consciousness shift as the human, and it requires a different type of commitment.

But it’s not any less real.

We have rolled up our sleeves and have gotten our hands dirty.  We have felt and are feeling this experience physically and emotionally in profound ways.

So much so that at times we want to get off this planet.

But then we have those moments of pure bliss in which we know absolutely who we are and why we are here.  Those moments when we feel so connected that we are not lonely, or bored or conflicted.

And it’s a connection that can’t be tampered with or compromised or destroyed by anything outside of us.  Because that connection is with the part of us that is real, and eternal.
