You’re either pointing in or pointing out. Aimed inward, you see and acknowledge the light that joins you all. You witness to the purity of all.

You see that everything that seemed to be exterior was nothing but a dream. From this inward place, you allow extension. You allow correction. You allow Spirit to be in charge of what remains of the journey.

Pointing outward, here is where the thoughts of ego are presented to you as realities. You are presented to yourself as a separate entity, and a series of ideas comes to you about what would promote or destroy this separate identity. Pointed outward, you are given an objective–to preserve and maintain this separate identity, in whatever form, at any cost. There are directives here, pointed outward.

And now inward. There are directives here, pointed inward. The following of outward directives feels different than the following of inward directives, and you begin to prefer one over the other. No longer will you trust that the voice that speaks when you are pointed outward knows anything. It’s job is simply to replicate the illusion of strife, and you can follow along with that or not.

Ego thoughts believed cause the experience of discomfort, and then ego sends thoughts outlining solutions. You are accustomed to seeing ego’s solutions as actual fixes, but this is not a problem. As long as you are willing to stop and focus inward whenever you feel that discomfort, your whole view of ego’s solutions will collapse, revealing what has always been here. This comes at no cost to anyone. It is merely provided for you and all. It is the ever-present gift you have denied throughout time, and now you are seeing that it is here.

There are two kinds of cause and effect to perceive. You can perceive the limited thoughts of ego causing further limitation and separation in a path leading ultimately to the experience of death. You have an alternative, however. You can perceive the expansive and open thoughts of Spirit providing an illusion that carries you and all through and out of your dedication to the defense of separate identity and the experience of death. What you perceive is always up to you. You can see further limitation and separation, or you can see the disappearance of your dedication to an illusion of strife. The choice is always yours, and you can pause in any moment to make it.

The defense that ego says keeps you safe is the defense that holds the perception of problems in place. Problems are an advantage to the ego. Its pathway keeps you experiencing them and following its solutions for solving them. To the Spirit, problems are unnecessary. It is the very need for problems that is dissolved, setting you free to see what has actually been here throughout the entirety of your chosen experience of time and space.

What to ego is the loss of control is also the actual solving of problems perceived. When ego is not perceived to be in control, then the addiction to perceiving problems can be washed away, leaving only what has always been here under illusions. Yes, temporarily, you do receive a substitute illusion from Spirit. Space and time, when given to Spirit, are kind and gentle to all. Recognize that ego’s job was to generate the illusion of strife within the illusions of space and time, and it has done the job you have given it.

Meanwhile, here you are, as you are, having no need of strife and no need of illusions. Love is here to help and guide you each step of the way. You have no need to struggle, but your willingness to focus inward assists all.
