Morning Reflection

Morning Reflection

During my early morning meditation, a particular reflection emerged.

Many have commented on how easily I forgive and how I allow others to push me around. But I refuse to carry grudges or waste my precious time inflicting hurt upon anyone. Such actions only rebound and return to us like a boomerang.

Instead, I choose to wish them nothing but love. Every single event and circumstance in my life has shaped me into the person I am today. I am not a victim. Forgiveness is inherent to my being. I release and move forward. It may not be easy, as the ego often desires triumphant resolutions. Those who are wounded seek stories that attract attention. However, whether it involves family, friendships, or even strangers, I grant myself the gift of moving on.

I release toxic individuals and situations from my life. I extend well wishes and happiness to them. For it is through my pain that I have gained profound wisdom. I harness that pain for growth and as a positive outlet. I am the one who chooses how to gracefully navigate through it. I can allow it to consume and debilitate me, or I can rise above it. It all comes down to self-care and self-love.

Now, don’t get me wrong. Sometimes, forgiveness takes time. It may require numerous rounds of processing and releasing before true healing is achieved. And even when you believe it’s all resolved, it may resurface, nudging you to delve deeper and extract further lessons from it. It can be an uncomfortable and unpleasant process.

Yet not a single person is worthy of harboring hatred within you. Not a single one! We cannot fathom the experiences or circumstances that provoke others to act as they do. The concept of karma exists to restore balance to the universe. In this understanding, we are called to embrace love and forgiveness. We are not obligated to like what has transpired (or even like the individuals involved), but we can choose to love and forgive. And within that frequency, we can genuinely shift consciousness.

I love you!

Millie

Every morning I light my candles, say my prayers, and enter into the magic of allowing Spirit to share a little wisdom. These are my words and a safe place for them to land. I write from the mountains of Western North Carolina, 20 miles east of Asheville.  I am an observer of nature, love and life.  Thank you for stopping by and joining me on this passion of words.
I am still doing private sessions. Please text me or email me if you desire one this month. You can go to my website here.
